A friend recommended Orvick after a full gut bathroom remodel they did and I had them come and do a variety of updates to my 20 year old Home. They can handle drywall, electrical, plumbing, painting and carpentry work. In addition to the quality workmanship, they communicate well and set reasonable expectations about the work. They show up on time and clean up each day to help minimize the mess that comes with all construction projects. I had them replace my kitchen sink and faucet, install undermount cabinet lighting, can lights, replace pennants in my kitchen. They replaced two bathroom vanities and light fixtures etc. I also had them recarpet my house and remove old travertine tile to replace with porcelain. They handle all of the details that go into each of those smaller projects so it comes out looking like new. We had Victor out for a complete bid at our home. It's a big job so we told him we would be getting other bids. Based on the yelp reviews and how impressed we were with him we planned to schedule. We have sent half a dozen requests via email, phone and text, but he has simply not responded. Our basement flooded so I had to have a water mitigation team come out to rip out carpeting, flooring, sheetrock, insulation, etc. It took them about a week to get the job done, but everything was dry when they were finished. They did a perfect job, and obviously my previously fully finished basement looked like a bomb had hit! The water mitigation company referred Orvick to me, and I'm so glad that they did. For years, we have struggled to find good electrical and general maintenance services for our home. If they even bother to show up, most contractors come in and refuse to do minor repairs, instead suggesting costly major renovations. Victor was a great exception to this trend. He has many competencies and was able to install a new overhead light fixture, repaired several three-way switches, and placed a new GFCI in our garage outlet. He was on time and honest with his accounting, and didn't charge us for the specialty parts he had to buy for the job.
