Well, this was a big bowl of poke, and that was good, because it wasn't cheap - the prices written on the dry erase board were several dollars more expensive than the ones on the overhead menu. It was also a surprisingly rich poke bowl in culinary terms as there was a fair amount of oil and very sweet sauce. It was tasty, but not as light as I expected. Service was as fast as the somewhat fast-food style ambience would suggest, but I appreciated the booths in case I'd wanted to spend a bit more time eating. The California roll had surimi which hadn't been shredded with mayo added, which is my preference. I like that they're open on Sundays. I wish there was more thought given to eco-friendly packaging. We were very excited to try this place- and thought it was cute and the food was really good! Unfortunately, the cashiers attitude and the way she spoke down to multiple people while we were there turned us off and we will not be returning. My husband came in to meet us after we ordered and he filled up the cup we had previously purchased for him. When my husband walked in, she immediately said "are you going to order?" And when we said no she said "so were you going to pay for that drink?" As if he had idk brought his own cup to steal a drink or hopped over the counter she was standing at to steal a cup ?? Honestly it doesn't even make sense I think she was just feeling sassy that we weren't ordering more or something. I called in the order because I only had an hour for lunch. they told me 15 minuets. when I got there and paid it had been about 10 minuets and she said it was almost ready. so I just stood there. 5-10-15-20 minuets go by ... no food. I asked did they start my food when I called in or when I paid. She said there was a long line in front of me. Well she should not have said 15 minuets. I would have gone somewhere else. Found this new little gem from other Yelp! reviews. It was fresh and tasty. The Crab Rangoon had chunks of crab in it and was very plump with filling. The steak and shrimp hibachi with rice and veggies was delicious. The shrimp were done well and the steak was cut in perfect bite size pieces. The broccoli was a touch undercooked for my taste and the other vegetables were sparse. I would have liked more zucchini and mushrooms. . The white sauce was absolutely delicious. Solid meal. Ok little Spot. Prices were affordable and location was convenient because close to the hotel. They get a 3 from me because the service really wasn't that great. So good!!! Was coming through the area from a field trip at Wild Adventures and found this place. I'm not familiar with the area at all. This little restaurant is EXCELLENT!! They have a huge sushi menu, the steak, shrimp and chicken hibachi with rice and veggies is to die for! My daughter considers herself a hibachi connoisseur and she was bummed that we don't live closer! Most of their business seems to be take out but they have plenty of seating for eat in guests. Great sushi actually! Worst service I have ever had and that is impressive because I eat out almost everyday! I sat there for around 30 mins while the staffed walked past me multiple times with their AirPods in hardly acknowledging me much less stopping. I was wearing bright yellow so they definitely saw me. My sister and I eat a lot of ahi tuna poke. We tried the 'new' tuna poke bowl. It was the worst poke we've had. The tuna was just okay- with very little flavor. The corn, cucumbers and avocado were fresh but really didn't bring much flavor. My sister said she got one bite with sesame flavor- that would have been nice. The chicken fried rice was also very plain. No onion, veggies at all! I've never had it with just rice and chicken... I guess it's the usual here. For the price it is a great place for Asian cuisine especially being in walking distance from Mercer University!! For me service has always been great. I give it 5 stars for what it is. It is not a fancy high end sushi and hibachi restaraunt and it doesnt need to be either. Its a place where you want a quick bite of quality hibachi and sushi for a very affordable price. Having eaten here many times, I can assure you that the sushi is of good quality and this is a supremely clean establishment. The food is what you think a hibachi meal tastes like plus a giant container of yumyum sauce on the side provides for a satifying meal. Portion sizes are large which is a wonderful aspect in value. Compared to other restaurants in the area, Osaka was great from when it first opened. The food is cheap, but really good. They have a huge selection to choose from, and it's not just Japanese food. I tried their wings and they tasted better than expected. Wings are served without ranch or blue cheese though. The edamame is awesome even though it's a bit more pricey than the other appetizers. The yum yum sauce is tasty but pretty garlic-y, so be prepared for that if you're not a huge garlic fan. Some criticizing I have: They do put a lot of onions into the Hibachi vegetables, but the Rice/Noodle Boxes are a great alternative to that. They also seem to change up their clear soup from time to time (you have to order it seperately; it doesn't come with the hibachi) so it tastes differently every time. One time, I also almost got into it with a man working there cause he insisted he put sauce into my to-go bag even though there was none.....but besides that it's a great restaurant! read more

first time going here and I loved the sweet potato rolls. My roommate recommended it to me and I am so glad I got it. Forgot to take a picture because I inhaled my food real quick. Not sure why there's low ratings but it is great for college students and for what they can give. For a fast food sushi place in a strip mall it's actually not half bad. I try to avoid any place that serves raw fish that's not anywhere near an ocean but I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. It's not five stars but hell you could do way worse in Macon.
