We just moved to the area and had to find a good place for sushi. Luckily we found this place and it hits the spot! It has a nice amount of options for sushi and hot dishes from their hibachi grill. I highly recommend the gyoza from here. It is some of my favorite gyoza I've had and has a delicious sauce that goes with it. We've lived in south Florida and Orlando where sushi places are a dime a dozen and this for sure holds up to some of our old regular spots. The rolls taste fresh and are well put together and the service is quick. The inside is nothing super fancy but it's cheap, tasty, and fast. Warning, the front/phone lady is very much a soup nazi. Which isn't the worst thing. She runs the show with an iron fist. But it works Order ahead, food can sometimes take a long time. This place is often packed because it really hits the spot. Sushi is a C-, hibachi is a B-, and the Chinese food style stuff is all over the place. The great part about this place is that it satisfies a lot of different cravings you might have. It's a consistent performer. Interesting place. There is no ambiance, more of a waiting room feel. It's a take-out place so don't expect to dine in. Very clean though. read more

I can't believe this place doesn't have 5 stars. We love their food, everything from sushi to rolls to hibachi. Even their iced tea is delicious Must have eaten take out from them 100 times and never a bad meal or wrong order like so many other places. The food was awful! Flavorless!! They should be ashamed of how they prepare and serve that Kani Salad!! It's a handful of soggy soft tempura flakes!!! The crab is nearly non existent! No taste of spicy Mayo anywhere in it. The roll was flavorless also. The seaweed salad was a disappointment! I won't be back unfortunately. read more

Osaka is our go to sushi spot in Thomasville. The hibachi, miso soup, and rolls are yum!

One of my favorite sushi places! I used to eat here all the time and had made my way through trying most of their rolls before I moved. They offer a large variety of sushi and I've never had 1 from here I wouldn't eat again. My recommendations are the Fallen Angel and the Volcano rolls. read more

Not bad but certainly not anything special. Mongolian Beef was marginal at best. Dining in was no service just handed to you at the counter.

I escaped Thomasville to Atlanta, and despite the plethora of truly great restaurants and diversity in ATL, I kinda miss Osaka's Chicken and Shrimp hibachi fried rice. Sometimes you just want to Sodium it up and clog arteries with that Yum Yum transfat mystery sauce. Also it was cheap, fast, and nearby. I don't miss much else about Thomasville. Ne'er again myopic Southern town, I will never tread in thee again. read more

I love the food and our cook was fabulous but I was a bit upset that the prices that we were charge were about $1.50 more than what was posted on the menu. They also gave us a 4% up charge because we used a credit card. read more

Rushy, rude, and no sense of customer service!!!! I took less than 3mins to place my order and they rushed me after I told them it was my 1st visit and also I had questions. I noticed they're short with other customers after waiting an EXTREME amount of time for my food. FYI Face mask are not required by customer's but staff wore them, place is take out only, but lobby tables were dirty. Food was fair at best and not something I would buy again. We had a large party come here in April. The place was clean. Customer service was efficient and swift. The prices were good. Not the best sushi but I was happy to eat good sushi at a clean place for a fair price in a small town. Unfortunately, the other guests thought their hibachi meals were too salty. Oh well. I go to Osaka every single day. My colleagues joke to me about this - "is Osaka a 3 Michelin Star restaurant?" I usually reply: "May not be 3 Michelin Stars, but it's 5 Thomasville Stars" Look guys, expectation management here. Thomasville is a small town in Southern Georgia. The last thing you would expect is good sushi. However, the sushi here rivals restaurants I've been to in Boston, Chicago, and San Francisco. I'm genuinely surprised and impressed. read more

We received more rice and broccoli wirh our meal versus what we ordered. We ordered shrimp and steak terriyaki dinner. We received 3 shrimp in our order along with 5 pieces of steak scattered throughout the rice and broccoli. On a good note, shrimp tempura was 3 pieces of fried shrimp and was good for 6.49$. I will order from Mosatos from now on. We paid 34.00$ for our delivery of one meal, one shrimp tempura and one order of spring rolls. This sushi was nothing to write home about but it was tasty. The inside is a weird set up, I had never been here before so when I walked in I wasn't sure to order at the sushi counter or sit down and be waited on. I sat down since I saw a waitress bring someone else's food out to them and they stared at me for a good 4-5 min from behind the counter before coming to my table to ask if I was waiting for someone. They really should put a sign up. Food was again nothing special but I would revisit again if I lived close. read more

Love this strip mall Japanese place next to the new Publix! We come up from Monticello often to eat sushi here or pick up takeout. The sushi is extremely fresh and delicious. There's a large menu of rolls, with both Americanized and more traditional combinations and sashimi. They also serve hibachi and teriyaki. I've had the hibachi once and it was good but a little plain. I've yet to try the teriyaki. I like the crab Rangoon. It is unique in that it had large chunks of krab along with the sweet cream cheese filling. The service is friendly and very quick. I think it has a more enjoyable atmosphere than your standard strip mall Chinese place. I know this is a matter of personal taste, but I like the art on the walls and lighting. There's also a little bar area where diners can watch the sushi chef at work. read more

Worst sushi I have ever had. Went there right after they opened, and based on some of the more recent reviews, they must have hired a new sushi chef!
