When I first started eating here it was Phenomenal. That was around 2018. I recently ordered Teriyaki Chicken Bowls. The food smelled bad. Like really bad dogs breath or something. That's the only way I can think to describe it. read more

We have eaten here weekly for the past 3 weeks and it has been wonderful each time. Food is delicious. Service is quick, mostly-but sometimes they are very busy which is understandable. I have always loved another hibachi restaurant in town but unfortunately their hours are sketchy. This is my new favorite! read more

After bypassing the restaurant end of inner Fayetteville, we stopped in this shopper center on our way home. We had intended to get sub sandwiches but noticed a new place. I checked out the Yelp page and was weary to order from the rating. I thought we should try it anyway. After all, they have a bigger restaurant in town. I was already craving white sauce on rice anyway. There were a lot of menu choices and priced fairly. They seem to specialize in chicken wings as well. I enjoyed my hibachi shrimp entree yesterday. The serving was heavy-handed which is a plus. I like the sauce that was on the shrimp and my mom had chicken which had the same sauce. It was like honey-teriyaki. Our meals came with either salad or soup. The ginger dressing was good. Our food was served straight off the grill hot and was very warm throughout our eating experience. I love the illuminated tree. It was like seeing an oversized bonsai tree I bought years ago in Spencer. I saved a little bit for leftovers for today. I would stop in again if the same chef is there. read more

I order the bbq and buffalo wings here all the time, fries for the kids. I am not really into the Japanese food, but it seems pretty good. I have had the chicken broccoli, and it was good. My go to, are the wings though, fries are fresh and cooked right. read more

I come to this place once, maybe twice a month. The foo is good, and they are fast. Nice people behind the counter who are quite polite and actually smile! The hibachi chicken is good, as is the salmon, which I enjoy so much, I ask for a second piece (it tastes even better as leftovers!). The yumyum white sauce is good, two per order... but if you want more it'll cost ya 50 cent pop. I tried their wings, they were ok. Not impressed. Two stars because the food was edible and prices were ok, but we won't be going back. Pros: -Dining room and bathrooms were clean. -Quick service. We got our food within 5 minutes of ordering. -Decent prices. Average price of a meal was probably around $6.50 or so. Cons: -Staff seemed disinterested in our presence. Even though we were the only customers in the store when we walked in, we received no welcome/greeting. They barely even looked up from their conversation and only acknowledged us long enough to take our order. -Food was mediocre at best. I ordered the gyoza as an appetizer and it tasted about the same as you'd get from a frozen package at the store. My husband ordered the chicken yaki udon (which the employee who took our order didn't know how to pronounce correctly), and said it was greasy but "okay". He didn't finish more than half of it and he almost always cleans his plate. Our friend we brought with us said the lettuce in his salad tasted funny. Overall, we would be glad if we never went there again. There are much better (and more authentic) options around as far as Japanese food goes. read more

Been here multiple times in the past and it was an easy cheap option near the airport. The quality was average at best, but was a decent deal for the quality. Ordered the Hibachi Filet Mignon to go, the minute I got to my car it smelled something fierce, and not in a good way. The steak had a taste of a poorly cleaned grill and it was about 1 day away from being completely rotten. Definitely past due. Called the restaurant and let them know, waiting to see if the manager calls me back. There's no way the cook should have served the meat. He either is oblivious or doesn't care about the quality/safety of the food being served. Either way, it's poor form. I won't be going back, management seems to be disengaged. read more

The wings are only 19.99 for 50. You cant beat that and for those who think chicken wings at a Japanese place are going to be less than par you are soooo wrong!! Their scallops are so perfect and steak (ordered medium rare)was actually medium rare!!! Lol most places cant cook a decent medium rare steak. The cook really knows what he/she is doing!! Prices were good and portions were large. Service was friendly. Happy to see veggie options! My favorite was the tofu teriyaki. So yummy. Salad or soup comes with many choices making it a complete meal. My daughter liked the miso soup. Overall clean establishment with decent food. read more

2 things will lose my business quickly, making me wait in the restaurant for 30 minutes after I called in my order and was told 15 minutes as always. And the "Manager" treating me like garbage when I brought to his attention that I like the food (usually), but I call in my order because I don't have time or the desire to wait an additional 30 minutes when I get there so I politely asked if he could correct this and retain me as a customer. I have worked in restaurants and we never gave early estimates on time for delivery or pick up or anything else because its rude and bad business. The manager responded with an attitude and said "ok so what you want free food right? We don't give free food you pay, you bring food back and I give you money back". Seriously? I got a little angry at him assuming I am some low life just wanting a hand out when I was trying to change his rule that every order, regardless of how busy he is, will always be 15 minutes. I told him that wasn't what I wanted, and obviously he was too much of a big mouth to listen before being disrespectful. Go somewhere else and don't waste your money here. I ordered the same thing every time and each time it tasted completely different. I'll be going somewhere else now, and I'll be seeing the manager soon to see if he has that same attitude when I'm standing in front of him. Too bad I can't give a negative star review! read more

I had high hopes for this place. I received an advertisement in the mail and the prices were great! The location is convenient for me as well. I visited on a Wednesday at 5pm and was greeted when I walked in. My to-go order was ready in a good amount of time. Two or three other customers picked up orders while I waited. The food: The lettuce in the salad wasn't the freshest, but edible. Then we opened the lids of the ginger dressing. The lid popped off loudly, splattering dressing as if gas had accumulated in there. The dressing was foamy. Into the trash it went, because it was so unappealing. My husband and I both had the Hibachi "Filet" entree. No way that was filet. He took a few bites and then remarked that the meat tasted funny. He went to the fridge to find some kind of sauce to cover the taste. I had a few bites of the meat. The first couple had a weird flavor that I figured was some kind of marinade that I just don't like. (No big deal, not everyone enjoys the same flavors.) Then the next bite, it hit me. The meat tasted like old steak smells. Metallic, like the bottom of a meat tray and kind of sour. I spit it out, and everything went into the trash and we ate frozen pizza. We did order some chicken wings, which were just OK and our son had a chicken bowl which seemed fine as well. Overall, very disappointing. read more

The food is not great. Nothing like the Osaka on Camden Rd. They also don't have sushi there, not even the basic rolls.
