What an outstanding find in a mall. The sushi offerings are not something you can find in all sushi restaurants. The tempura salmon was very good and something that will bring me back again. I also had the dragon roll which was truly a work of art and still warm when it was served making it one of the best dragon rolls I have ever ordered. The staff was friendly, the prices are fair, and the food was prepared fresh to order. I can't wait to return and try more. Just writing this makes me wish I was much closer to this establishment lol read more

Excellent show and good food!! I highly recommend if you have young children and want a family dinner out of the ordinary. I requested the steak and salmon so as you can see from the photo it's plentiful portions, plus the positive is you can always take it home and the leftovers heat up perfectly. I also had a Moline Roll and for sushi in the Midwest in a smaller area I was impressed. It only received 4 stars because the area is small and cramped which might be a problem for some, so if you can handle rubbing elbows with strangers then this place will be perfect for you. read more

the fish they use is not sushi grade, at all. the salmon is farmed salmon and was so slimy I couldn't eat it- the other types of fish I got in my sashimi deluxe were also slimy and inedible. I get sashimi from other places quite frequently and this was disappointing and gross. I will not be eating from this place again. read more

Nice clean environment. I had the Red Osaka Roll. It was one of the most interesting flavor profiles I've tasted in a while. It's baked maki rolls with a chili sauce, a spicy mayo, tempura shrimp , salmon, crab meat, green onion and eel sauce. I ordered take out so the presentation was less than ideal but the flavor of the dish was satisfyingly delicious! I ordered a roll, after eating one piece I saw a gnat on the roll, I took it back to ask for a fresh roll and the sushi chef Ken yelled at me, told me I was trouble and refused to help me. He continued to tell at me in front of other customers when I asked for a refund. I asked to speak with the manager/owner and he yelled at me again. Horrible Service. read more

The Osaka Sushi Bar (Located inside the Northpark Mall) is a great place to stop for a quick order of sushi. We've eaten at the full restaurant in Moline and think that the quality is at the same level. The sushi is fresh and there typically isn't a wait. They provide seating that is outside of the food court so there's generally plenty of room. Don't be scarred off by the fact that it's in the Mall -- in fact you should embrace it. If you have a weekend shopping trip try stopping here for lunch! read more

I was in town with my family visiting my daughter who attends a local college in Davenport Iowa. While my college daughter was interested in getting some sushi the rest of my family wanted something else. We ordered eighteen pieces of sushi to go so we could meet up and enjoy a dinner together in the food court of this mall. I specifically asked the cashier to make sure there was enough soy sauce in the to go bag which she replied quickly ya ya, you go now. We thanked her and continued on to the food court a few minutes away for a family dinner. I open the bag and its contents to find a tiny 1.5 ounce plastic container of soy sauce for eighteen pieces of sushi! Seriously, now I either have to walk five minutes each way hoping there is not a line missing dinner with my family or just eat dry sushi... Needless to say my daughter or I will not be spending any more time at Osaka Sushi Bar of Davenport Iowa. Minus this experience the sushi itself was just ok. read more

Wow, when this place first opened years ago, it was great. I just had it in 2018 and found it has slid downhill. The fish wasn't sushi grade, the cream cheese wasn't creamy, and the "crunch" was taken from a can of dried onions. The crazy tuna wasn't as described and not worth $12.95 I paid for it. The quality under first ownership to what it is today is night and day. I miss the first owner/manager. read more

This place is a good place to stop for lunch. 2 maki rolls and a drink for 6.95. I bring sushi beginners here for The Red Osaka roll and I get them hooked every time! Shrimp tempura, salmon, crab, cucumber, with spicy and eel sauce then baked! I call it the Japanese burrito and it is so good! Try it, you won't be disappointed! read more
