3.75 / 5 Staff was very friendly but very confused about the service. Ambience was ok. Miso soup & gyoza were great Pork ramen was warm & filling & sushi rolls were decent (sweet potato & crunchy spicy tuna) Bonus points for *low sodium* soy sauce Prices are decent Would come back

Long wait, over an hour for 4 rolls. But staff is very friendly and food was fresh and good. Make sure you order an appetizer!

Very good sushi and hibatchi. I'll be back. Kinda cool there's a drive through to pick up online or phone orders

What a nice surprise! We're visiting family in the QC from California and we were looking for a good sushi place and everyone recommended here. We're glad we came here! The food was fresh, service was nice and it was a great value for the amount of food. The sashimi came in nice and thick slices, the rolls were nice and the teppan was cooked perfectly. The service staff was great, the restaurant got filled up all at the same time and the two servers were able to take care of the whole restaurant including 2 larger parties in a timely manner. Thanks for the great experience!

I cannot express our surprise at this sushi and hibachi place!! The prices are good, the quality is amazing... we have been back 3 times in the last week? The rolls are impressive! The seating is clean and there are booths and tables... better than other smaller places similar. There is a pick up window. Will return again and again!

Fantastic service. Great chicken teriyaki. However, could taste old fryer oil in the tempura. Amazing crab ragoons as well.

One of the appetizers was a morel mushroom soup which was downright exquisite. They also had a 30 oz lightly smoked lobster tail. We didn't get that but noticed several people did and it looked amazing. There is a range of seafood, beef, chicken, duck, etc.; all with interesting presentations. And the desserts are great too. We had the carrot cake and a chocolate chip cookie with toppings. The cookie was about 6 inches in diameter! Duck City Bistro is an all around fun time with great food and epic presentations. We dined on February 13th-we were excited, as our reservation was made due to an enthusiastic review of a friend. There was a bit of a show from the owner when he was introducing the featured items, which we found endearing. The drinks were good, although hardly uniform, as multiple people in our party ordered the same drink but they were served in different glasses with varying levels of alcohol. The menu was heavy on the steak and seafood, and there were no prices listed. We ordered the duck (signature dish) and the crab legs. No mention from the waitress on any pricing (and shame on us for not asking). The meal was good, although nothing outstanding. We were happy with our experience until the bill came. The crab legs alone were $300!!! Our jaws hit the floor. We have dined in many upscale restaurants (Manhattan, Miami, Chicago) and we have NEVER paid close to that price tag for crab legs. We spoke to the owner Jerry, and he issued excuse after excuse. He stated that he paid "$100 per pound" and our order consisted of 1.5 pounds...so we were up-charged $150?! He was incredibly defensive and non-apologetic regarding our experience. Our take home point to him was if you're going to charge that amount of money for a singular menu item, you need to disclose the price when people order. Our bill was over $500 for mediocre food and left us with such a poor experience. That's more than we spend on an entire month dining out. We felt swindled and taken advantage of. Shame on us for not asking the price, and shame on Jerry and this restaurant for charging such an outrageous price for a menu item. BEWARE!!! We will never eat here again-largely because of the terrible response we got from the owner when we expressed our frustration and the lack of transparency with the menu.

So I stopped in the huge parking lot, checked out the reviews on Yelp and decided to stop. It was near 4th of July and you can hear neighborhoods setting off fireworks. The restaurant was deceptively empty but I didn't see the huge party towards the back. Once I sat, I was promptly informed of the all-you-can eat menu. When I tell you it is all you can possibly eat, it's no lie. It includes sashimi, ramen, rolls ..., truly too much food. I settled for the sashimi regular and a small hot sake...my usual order in most Japanese places. Did I mention this place serves alcohol? Beer, wine, hot and cold sake. The food was excellent! Good sized pieces of fish. The regular was enough for me and wasn't crazy expensive. The servers were polite and prompt. I had a nice quiet dinner by myself in this huge place. The menu had a lot of variety. I may have to comeback to try the rolls....yum!

It's kind of like an Asian buffet, except you mark on a menu what you want and they bring the food out to you instead of serving yourself buffet-style. This probably cuts down on food waste. If you can eat a lot (like me), this place can offer tremendous value. I love maki, and the four rolls that I had were plenty decent (definitely better than what I have gotten at other Asian buffets). I will say that none of them knocked me off my feet, but I wasn't expecting that for the price I was paying. Aside from that, you can also get typical appetizers included. We had crab rangoons which were decent, and my wife had miso soup and edamame, which she liked. I left the place more than satisfied and definitely feel like I got my money's worth. Will go there again.

It looks like a typical sports bar/restaurant. What sets it apart is the quality of the food. With our most recent visit, we went at an off-peak time between lunch and dinner. The place was relatively empty. Service was timely. For an appetizer, we had fried pickles. These looked like they were cut, battered, and fried in-house and were good. For my entree, I had the Zombie Invasion Burger. They advertise it as possibly the best burger on the planet. I don't know if I would endorse it being the best on the planet, but it's definitely one of the better burgers I have had. It's a gourmet-type burger, pairing sweet with some zing. The fries were standouts as well. They weren't particularly fancy, but they were well seasoned (just salt and pepper) and based on the quality, I am guessing they were cut in-house and fried to order. My wife had a Mediterranean salad, which she liked. I did not try any of it, but I have had a salad there before (Plantation Salad) and thought it was pretty darned good. For dessert, I had the cheesecake. This was good. It wasn't necessarily great, but I left happy. Overall, the food here is really good and the prices are appropriate.

Do not go. Waste of money. Group of 6 and all of us were disappointed. Never will returnread more
