The sushi/sashimi was fresh, no fishy smell, and had good flavor. I started off with the clear soup, which had a good flavored broth. The salad was nothing to talk about because their lettuce is not drained, so it waters down the ginger dressing. We had the Rainbow Roll and the King Lobster roll, which both were flavorful and delicious. We also ordered the tuna and yellowtail sashimi, which were fresh. The sushi is delicious and sooo flavorable.I ordered it thru Grub Hub 4 delivery between 5:48 -6:03pm. Order never arrived; driver left it somewhere but not here. My Help at home man went to restaurant to pickup duplicate meal; both Grub Hub and I agreed on this. However Grub Hub sent a 2nd driver out with my meal. Driver left it OUTSIDE MY BLDG ON CEMENT! What a nice surprise! We're visiting family in the QC from California and we were looking for a good sushi place and everyone recommended here. We're glad we came here! The food was fresh, service was nice and it was a great value for the amount of food. The sashimi came in nice and thick slices, the rolls were nice and the teppan was cooked perfectly. The service staff was great, the restaurant got filled up all at the same time and the two servers were able to take care of the whole restaurant including 2 larger parties in a timely manner. I've been coming to Oishii regularly since they first opened a few years ago... and there's not anything in the Quad Cities that leaves me still craving more (even when I go home with leftovers), like Oishii. The restaurant has a very nice ambiance and I've never had bad service. Great portions for your dollars too, especially with the lunch specials. Their sushi is always good but you HAVE to try their hibachi at some point as well. read more

Spider roll came with tempura, what I assume was soft shell crab. Couldn't really tell, but also have never seen crab being tempura'd... The sheer amount of teriyaki sauce that everything was swimming in, was impressive, but not really appreciated. Went to Oishii for my niece's birthday. The restaurant was fairly full when we arrived around 6:30. We placed our order within 15 minutes and appetizers arrived shortly after. We liked the salad and the miso soup. The dumplings were tasty, as were the crab rangoon. Then we sat for 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, an hour. It's now an hour plus and still no entree. I recognize that sushi is labor intensive, but I watched several table that arrived after us be served, eat and leave in the time we've been sitting here. This had better be great sushi. When it arrived it was magnificent. A large bridge full of fresh delicious sushi and sashimi. We were thrilled. We ate until we were full, and still had enough to send the niece home with a full to go box. To top it off, they gave her a beautiful dish of green tea mochi! Thank you so much! read more

I have ordered and enjoyed oishii many times in the past. We had a large order tonight and my son got very sick and started vomiting and then ran to the bathroom . So I called and explained he was the only one that ate the shrimp and it was probably bad. The manager tells me thanks and tries to hang up. I then asked if that was their only reply ? I spent over a $100 and have a child super sick and they didn't wanna do anything but get off the phone. They then handed the phone to the owner and she just keeps repeating we been serving that shrimp all day long and I must be mistaken or a idiot. Here you go oishii ... You get a well earned $116 worth of free advertising. As many have said normally the food is very good . Customer service and owner are not . This has become my favorite sushi spot since I moved to the area! The food is really fresh and the rolls are all so good. They're also massive and very filling. For the quantity AND quality, the price feels unbelievable. Their covid Take-out is fun, too, with the little slide they have in the drive thru I'm not going to take a star off but the mayo is....mayo. Beware of this place if you place a big order for pick-up when they are busy! Got back to my brother's with the food and discovered sushi and hibachi salmon were missing. Called Oishii to inform them and was told by the young man who had taken the order that the restaurant would not charge us as he admitted that the oversight was their fault. The manager got on the phone and said that it would be our responsibility to pay. I emphasized to her that the person who took the order read it back to me correctly. She would not back down. Apparently she has never heard 'the customer is always right'. We went back for the missing food. The sushi was warm! read more

This is a new place and we had to try it because it was sushi. :) The inside is very nice. Its clean and it looks like brand new booths, tables, and light fixtures. We loved the atmosphere! We were seated quickly and our waitress was wonderful! We ordered the vegetable tempura appetizer and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. We then ordered a variety of sushi rolls and all were very delicious. They let us switch ingredients with no problems which is great. Our only complaint was that the basic hand rolls were a bit loosely made but thats more of a nit picky problem. They tasted fabulous! We will definitely be back!! :) read more

First is, the promo that says if you check-in in yelp you'll get a free regular roll but the lady that served us said that it's already expired so don't waste your time checking in. The place is too small to accommodate a group. There's five of us and we were having trouble trying to fit all our food in a good for four table. If you are so hungry, I don't recommend going to this place on weekends because they are so full and we waited like forever for our food to be served. So we ordered the Oishii love boat, Hibachi Diablo, and another hibachi special (I forgot what it was), oh and also another california roll. The love boat was so good and also the presentation is sooo nice. They have this miniature bamboo bridge where they arrange the sushi and sashimi. Everything in the love boat was delicious. First time trying sushi in the quad cities. I wasn't sure how it would be since it's so far from an ocean. But I was VERY impressed. I had the Hawaii Roll and the Tempura Dragon. It was DELICIOUS! But it wasn't my first time having miso soup, and I just wish the chunks of tofu were a bit larger and there wasn't so little in there. The seaweed was cut into perfect sizes but there also wasn't enough of that in there for my linking. As for the flavor, I've had bette, but it was definitely still good! The salad they gave me was a little weird. I don't know what it was. Regardless, I ate it, because it's rude in Japanese culture to not finish the food on your plate. Only giving 4 stars because I have not tried the sushi. But I have had the seafood diablo (Udon Noodles, and assortment of seafood and veg in a spicy sauce) and it's delicious. Hibachi steak/chicken and fried rice are spot on. Haven't dined in so I can't speak to the service but the woman behind the counter has been nothing but a doll everytime I pick up. I was in town for a business trip, and was craving sushi. This place did not disappoint! The staff was very friendly from the moment I walked in, and the place was clean and modern looking. I usually order a shrimp tempura roll, but I was intrigued by the Hawaii roll. It's basically the shrimp tempura roll but has a mango slice on top. Winner!
