Took a long time and did not taste great. Still hungry.Went to pizza place next door, which also was mediocre. Still hungry. It was late in the evening, probably around 10pm. I walked in and other then two guys sitting at the sushi bar it was empty. I ordered a soda and the eel and cucumber roll. The roll was good,standard for any sushi place, but not worth the price. I ordered the chicken terriakai, forgettable if anything and overpriced overall the bill around 25 dollars it was a ripoff. I was so excited when this place opened up as it's right across the street from my development but my excitement was short lived. This place has gone downhill consistently from day one. The last time I came here was with my son for a quick lunch. We just got some spicy tuna rolls and yellowtail nothing fancy. It was some of the worst sushi I've ever had. I will drive 30 mins out of my way to To Kai in northeast Philly rather than go back to this place. read more

After eating at Osaka Sushi twice, we placed a large pick-up order for an impromptu party two days after Christmas. The order was prepared on time, and everything was exactly as we expected. All of our guests, many of whom consider themselves to be sushi connoisseurs, raved about the sushi. All of the dishes we ordered were uncooked, and everything was absolutely delicious: very fresh, excellent mixing of flavors and fish combinations. The fish to rice ratio was very generous - much better than the other restaurants in the area We have frequented all of the sushi restaurants in our area, and this is by far the best. There is no hibachi grill, and no liquor license (thus BYOB) so they will survive on the quality of their sushi. To sum things up, Osaka is an unpretentious neighborhood restaurant which we are thrilled to have in our neighborhood. read more

Just reviewing the sushi. It's ok here. Nothing special. With so many spots w sushi on the same level or better but for much less of the cost, I dont really see a reason to come here. Ninja Sushi and Shogun arent too far away and taste great and you can get way more for your dollar. Still giving it 3 stars because the food was fine here and it's a nice location with pretty easy parking but you might as well go somewhere a little more south. read more

I will say for this area, the sushi was pretty good... and the place is BYOB ;) I moved to Vancouver not long ago so I'm spoiled with really good sushi.. but for the price/location the food here was decent. The portions were large as well. My husband ordered the dinner Pork Katsu which is a pretty safe dish to order in any Japanese restaurant. No complaints though, it was nicely breaded, moist, and it came in two enormous pieces with white rice and a side salad. He couldn't even finish it, it was a lot of food. I had the Green Dragon Roll which was good, and my cousin and her husband ordered a bunch of rolls like the Spicy Tuna, Black Dragon, Sweet Potato, and a few other rolls. They both enjoyed their food as well. I thought the layout of the restaurant was a bit odd... but it's nice and clean inside. The service was good and everyone seemed friendly. I'm not complaining but I will mention that they do charge you for their hot tea. Some places don't, and some do... just good to know. read more

Boy does it bum me out to have to write a bad review. I was so looking forward to this Japanese restaurant. Especially after reading all the glowing reviews. Either I hit it on a really bad night or the fellow reviewers just haven't had a lot of quality sushi. Started with a Luke warm miso soup and a beef negamaki the soup was blah and the beef was so well done it was like chewing leather I had to ask for extra sauce to digest it. Next I decided to order from the signature roll menu as it is more expensive you but usually you get a lot more fish and bigger rolls. well not in this case. The dynamite roll was tiny and fish wasn't bright the plate was dull looking. and the rice was flavorless. I decided to just send it back. However the spicy shrimp hand roll I ordered was not overflowing with shrimp I will give kudos for the nori being crispy. My mother ordered vegetarian hibachi. Limp broccoli and mushrooms swimming in a sweet sauce with a side of day old brown rice. 15 mins later the waitress brought out other sauces. We have no idea why. The space itself is so warm and inviting it's just such a shame. Within 5 miles you have oishi in Newton and Tako in Bensalem which are just on a whole different level. Yes oishi is pricy and Tako may not be the nicest of interior but I rather pay good money and get quality fish and rice. Another one bites the dust. read more

Ate dinner here last night. I had the Sushi Deluxe which was the standard Sushi Deluxe platter. The sushi was fresh, the presentation was the best I've seen in the area. This is clearly the best sushi in a 20 minute radius. Really recommend trying this place out. The outside is kind of cheesy looking but the inside is very classy sushi restaurant. This place is a JOY to go to. Best Sushi in the area and the price is more than right. Joy is part owner and mans the front desk a lot of the time. She is a big part of the fantastic service that you get at this restaurant. I love the decor. Very chic! Love it! And I agree with the other reviews that the best part of the restaurant is the sushi. The seafood tastes very fresh. The rice is perfectly cooked. Best sushi that I have had outside of Disneyworld. If you like sushi and you live in this area! You must go! This is one of the few restaurants in this area that offer delivery so one night I ordered. I have eaten in the restaurant before and it was an on ok experience with fresh sushi and is the only reason why I am giving it two stars and not one. The delivery left A LOT to be desired. This place is just fair at best . First the sushi definitely isn't made to order. We ordered 4 specialty rolls 2 of which were tempura . Our rolls were served to us in under 5 minutes. The tempura ones were cold . We asked for eel sauce on the side and asked for extra , we use that over soy sauce! It's amazing. Anyway we both got a teaspoon if that . I was in the mood for sushi, and saw reviews on Yelp for this place. It looked very similar to a place by my parents house, and the items on the menu sounded good. We made a reservation for a Saturday night but didn't need one. It is a small place. Biggest downside was that the front door has a straight shot to the back of the restaurant, so every time the door opened the cold air went right back to me. Aside from that, it was a GREAT experience. 1000x better than Oishi. The green salad was yummy. My boyfriend got the love roll. I got two rolls, both with brown rice, and he got a chicken teryaki dish. It was all so good, and the service was great. I cannot wait to go back! read more

Cute little place in a strip mall. Great service, and reasonable prices. We stopped in for lunch and were served quickly with deliciously fresh sashimi and nigiri plates. My fiancé and I are lovers of Japanese cuisine and sushi is at the top of our list most weeks. This place was a surprise and better than we thought it would be. I'd definitely go back here and spend the afternoon. We saw on the menu also that you could BYOB..... so I guess bring away with any alcohol you like. The servers where not too annoying and didn't come over every ten minutes, and where very efficient with their serving skills. Delightful and put a smile on both of our faces for the rest of the day. My husband and I come here often. We love their sushi. Sadly tonight is the last night we eat there again. We orderered 3 rolls and one of them took about 30 mins. We sat there waiting for that one roll, since we didnt want to be rude and cancel. As we were sitting there, a big cockroach was crawling on the wall right next to us. We told the waiter and she grabbed a napkin and killed it. This was pretty gross. We didnt make a big deal but we have decided we will not be back. We've been eating sushi and sashimi almost every week in the Langhorne and Newtown area for more than 20 years (it's really much longer than that) and have frequented every every Japanese (and Chinese) restaurant in the area on our quest for the best meal. We have not found a better sushi meal than Osaka, an undiscovered jem in the Flowers Mill shopping center in Langhorne. Every piece of fish is fresh (they buy it every day) and I've never ever had a fishy smell or taste in two years of eating there. Thay have so many unique and delicious rolls I don't have enough time to describe them. I've hesitated to write this review for a year now because we can usually walk in and sit right down and I don't want that to end! If you've been to the popular Japanese restaurants in the area and you want a pleasant surprise, and some new and unusual rolls go to Osaka. It's worth the trip. read more

We live nearby and love Osaka for a quick and close dinner option. They've been closed for a while because of the pandemic, but we've still been calling every week or so because it's one of our favorite places and we wanted to support them. Tonight, they finally answered the phone! As of right now the kitchen was closed (it was the first night they were open again), but sushi was available. So, while I couldn't get the tasty chicken fried rice I was craving this evening, I was able to get a great dynamic roll and spicy shrimp roll. I went late the other night and it was empty so I got everything pretty quickly and service was good, I just had the California roll & the shrimp tempora and they were both alright but the best part was probably the desert I had the vanilla mochi which was very good. Newest Sushi place in the area, only open for a few weeks. Brightly light with typical Sushi place decor. Food is delicious, high quality , and served in far more generous portions than the competition. The servers are warm and friendly. Note that this is a true Japanese restaurant devoid of "Fusion" cuisine. No hibachi grills either: just high quality authentic Japanese cuisine. The non-sushi entree were made just as well as the sushi, so those not in the mood for raw fish are quite well taken care of here. There is also a good selection of vegetarian sushi. Overall, a remarkable addition to the local dining scene. The location has been death to prior restaurants but this food is so good that there is a chance that the tradition ends now. read more

I ordered delivery from this place the other weekend after craving sushi all day but being too lazy to leave my house to get some. The reviews looked good so I gave them a shot and I'm so glad I did. Their specials rolls were amazing and the fish tasted so fresh. Delivery was also very quick which surprised me. I feel like I would've waited longer if I had gone in and dined in. My only complaint was about the delivery boy. He was a little rude and seemed to hate that he had to delivery my food.
