Such a cute and intimate place, we came for dinner around 6-7pm and there were 2 other couples there. The staff all greeted us with a warm welcome too! The inside is gorgeous. My husband and I both ordered the garlic chicken ramen, it was good I'm just not a fan of ramen as a whole. My favorite part was the egg in the ramen. Experience: It was about 4:45 on a Wednesday. I was in the area with my mother for a doctor's appointment and we decided to try this place out. Facility: This place used to be a Taco Bell back in the day. Now it is a Japanese restaurant. The interior looks like a remodeled restaurant, but don't let that fool you... we were super pleased with this place. We didn't use the restroom, but this place had tables and chairs and booths to sit in. It looks like they decorated it the best they could but you can tell it was a fast food restaurant. There was no one in the restaurant when we arrived. But a few tables were full by the time we left. Service: we were treated when we first walked in and sat immediately. The waitress was very nice and checked on us often. They got everything correct on our order. And the whole staff said goodbye as we were leaving. Great customer service!! Food: 5/5 yum!!! Boba tea - 4/5 we got passion fruit with strawberry popping boba, and pineapple with strawberry boba. Both were good but a little too sweet for my liking. Jalapeño bombs - 5/5 I would give these a 6 outta 5... they were my favorite thing. They put plenty of crab and cream cheese inside the jalapeno and fry it crispy in tempura. So yum!!!! Gyoza - 5/5 we had the appetizer which was pan fried. There was a gyoza on the bento box that was deep fried.... They were both delicious!!! A little hidden gem for authentic cuisine. We enjoyed a quick stop for lunch and found it to be a quaint little restaurant that was extremely clean and inviting. The staff all greeted us as we entered and again when we left took the time to wave goodbye and say Thank you for behind the counter. Really evoked a friendly environment that makes you want to come back. I had the Osaka sushi, which was deep fried and so creamy and flavorful on the inside. Everyone working at the restaurant was super nice and the service was quick. It's the food that let us down. My partner had the chicken katsu curry. This is one of his favorite Japanese meals and we've had a hard time finding it since we moved to Florida. When I spotted this on the menu I decided that we needed to try this place. Unfortunately the dish was not great. The chicken was overdone and the edges were chewy/hard to eat, and the curry sauce was like pouring water over the chicken and rice. It kind of had the katsu curry flavor, but with the water sauce sitting under the rice and chicken it was hard to get much flavor at all. I had the black garlic Ramon soup. The portion size was good, but it had no flavor at all. Which is weird to be chewing but it tastes like nothing. The broth had no flavor, and the toppings which were wood ear mushrooms, bamboo shoots, sprouts, and 3 thin slices of pork all had literally no flavor. And shouldn't there be some garlic flavor? It's weird. I did encounter this one time before a long time ago, but never at an Asian restaurant. One of the things I love most about Asian food is all the spices and fresh veggies that are used to create layered flavors. We did also get spring rolls and those tasted good, just as any Asian veggie spring roll should. Waited 15 mins before we were given a menu, others who walked in after us were given a menu and orders taken. We ordered spring rolls as an appetizer, and both ordered teriyaki chicken and black garlic ramen. Our spring rolls came out and were mediocre. After finishing our spring rolls and waiting for 30 minutes our waitress asked us if we were ready for the check not even receiving our ramen. After we said no we are waiting for our ramen, she said oh, waited another 20 mins before our ramen came out. The chicken was the only thing that had any flavor. The broth was pretty bland. Small dining area with a lots of tables on top of each other with a few booths. A tv and semi open kitchen. I will definitely never return to dine in. Really disappointing dinner last night Tuesday night. It was our first time going to Osaka and we were really excited based on all of the good feedback we've heard from our friends. Ordered the Yellowtail carpaccio, rainbow roll and garlic ramen. The garlic ramen came out and was on the table for about 10 min before the yellowtail carpaccio app came out. The app was disappointingly small. After almost another 10 minutes the rainbow roll came out. It was rolled so badly. The slices were falling apart when we picked it up. Seemed like there wasn't enough rice or an even layer of rice to support the roll. Taste was fine but it looked terrible and it was a mess falling apart. Garlic ramen tasted good, a little fishy, maybe from the seaweed in it. Overall would not return and would visit the other sushi/ramen restaurants in town over Osaka. read more

I personally get the chicken stir fry with rice noodles and my husband gets sushi. the price of the food is reasonable and food is the best! the ratio to protein to carbs in perfect and they have big portions. We ordered the appetizers of Edamame with was lightly salted and very good, the cucumber and Krab salad with sesame seeds was a little underwhelming as the cucumbers were not cured in rice wine vinegar as I am use too. Our main course was Tonkatsu Ramen soup with very tasty Chashu pork, the soup was warm, not hot...Like my tea, my wife's Special of the Day Bento Box dinner had a lot of yummy looking bits, just not very flavorful. I can drive 2 minutes to this place. I ordered takeout and was told it was a 30 minute wait to pick it up. Not a problem. Got there and it wasn't ready and said 10 more minutes. Again, not a problem. Over 40 minutes go by, waiting in my car, 2 minutes away from my house. Around an hour and 15 minute when they weren't that busy. I could have just stayed home and waited until it was ready and instead waiting in my car for 40 extra minutes. Please improve your customer service. P.S.- Took a bit of my food and completely cold.
