Came back to this bar after dinner near ktown. Once again, vibes were vibing. Cocktails were good-- I especially liked the one that had like that perfume sprayed on it. I still do think though that the cocktails are a tad overpriced.... def on the pricier side, even considering nyc prices.

I don't really drink so I asked for a sweet drink that doesn't really taste like alcohol. I forgot the name of my drink but I was able to finish the whole drink (which is a first).

Beautiful cozy bar, great service- maybe I'm just being cheap but I seriously can't justify a $20+ cocktail. I just can't. It literally made me cringe. I had the "Harubang" and it was annoyingly good. I stopped at one drink. My brother had two, the second one he ordered had the cucumber in it, light and refreshing. Charcuterie board was pretty. Popcorn chicken was bland as hell, regret ordering it last minute. Basically 3 drinks, the cheese board and popcorn chicken came out to $156 w/tip which I think is insane. Maybe I should just stay home forever. If you don't care about how much you're spending, definitely go...but don't get the popcorn chicken. Oh yeah, and make reservations!

Great drinks. One of my go-to lounges. I ordered the Bottoms Up, the Cheese in the Trap, and the Harubang (my go-to drink). The space is nice and comfortable, and perhaps what I like about it the most.

This speakeasy, located on top of a yummy Korean eatery was really cool - definitely worth checking out. It has a cozy library vibe on one side and a nice bar area on the other. The space is bigger than you'd expect and feels really dynamic. The bartenders were super friendly, welcoming, and super attentive. The cocktail menu had some cool options, and they were great about accommodating whatever we were in the mood for. Also a solid selection of whiskeys, if you are looking for that, like we were. Highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for a chill speakeasy vibe with great service and drinks.

Such an intimate cozy vibes We were able to get a table pretty quickly for 2 on a Friday night. The drinks were amazing. Servers were interactive Highly recommend for a date night

Food poisoning!!!! I was projectile vomiting after visiting this speakeasy. Do not trust the food or drinks here.

Food poisoning!!! Avoid this bar at all costs. I was violently ill from their bacteria ridden establishment. Ruined my vacation!

I came here to meet up with a friend and grab a quick drink. Located above the restaurant Osamil, this is a stunning cocktail bar. The ambiance here is amazing and the service is even better. They have a fairly big cocktail menu and there's bound to be something for everyone. Although I thought that it was a good ambiance, I did feel like the cocktails were a bit overpriced for what it was (~$30), and I thought that mine was okay. Overall, good ambiance but I'm not sure it was worth it.

Great date night place or even a spot for a small group - the atmosphere leans on the sexier side, dim lighting and classic furnishings but with cute holiday decor. Servers had a lovely butler uniforms, made me feel like I was at someone rich person's manor! Oysters: Fresh, and loved the little wasabi-flavored popping roe that came with it. Added a nice sharp kick to the sweet oysters. Popcorn chicken: Personally I love super crunchy things so I enjoyed this. Don't expect anything mind blowing for the price though. Harubang cocktail: As a lightweight I'm pretty sensitive to the taste of alcohol in my cocktails, but this one was light, sweet, and refreshing. Came with an adorable jelly garnish shaped like its namesake fruit which was fun to eat as well. This one definitely got me crunk lol.

My girlfriends and I tried to walk in at 8:30 and were able to get a table for an hour before someone else's reservation. They were very communicative and accommodating. The vibe is very sexy and intimate. Music was great for the space though a little louder than I expected. We were all still able to hear each other. I loved all the drinks we tried. The pump it up ($9) was a little too lemon-y but still special. My LP was truly unlike any drink I've ever had, though at $27, I'm not sure I'd get it again. The bae-bae ($23) and OE ($25) were very refreshing. Great choice! So glad we came. 1 hr, walk in

When you enter Osamil, make sure to ask to go upstairs to the speakeasy bar. An employee scanned the hidden door and allowed us up right away on a weeknight. Once you're inside, the intimate setting gives it such a secretive vibe. The walls were adorned with bottles and trinkets creating a secret library or study feel. To start off, I had the Harubang ($23), which was light and refreshing hiding the whiskey quite well. It also came with a jelly ball, which was fun but difficult to consume. Next, I had the Spicy O.E. ($25), which is essentially a spicy margarita. The cucumber is strong on this one and I loved that you even get an actual chili pepper in it. This was also nice and refreshing with a kick. Overall, love the vibe but drinks are quite pricey. It's perfect for a date night or trying to impress some out of town friends.

Went late in the evening and saw the door ajar so we helped ourselves in. However, I'd advise making reservations in case your not as lucky. It was a lounge atmosphere, good for hanging with a group. We ordered soon after being seated and two out three drinks arrived in a timely manner and tasted good. It was the third drink that took quite a long time. Funny enough, it was the simplest - Wray & Nephew's+ coke. But for some odd reason, it took well over 15 minutes. It didn't help that the place wasn't even that crowded. But I'll give them the benefit of the don't - it was close to last call. Or perhaps they just ran out of coke and had to do a Bodega run. Either way, it would've been nice to know it would take so long in advance. I'd recommend, and would like to try the food downstairs.

I had just finished an after-work event with some of my colleagues when a few of us were looking for a place to go before closing the evening. After a quick Yelp search, Osamil Upstairs stood out as it was close by, a speakeasy, and the pics looked great. It was only one block over from where we were, so off we went. Osamil Upstairs is located inside Osamil, a Korean gastropub in K-Town. The main restaurant was bustling; upon entry we asked the hostess if we could go up to the speakeasy, and after a quick phone call she led us to a door with stairs behind it that led to OU. It was pretty large for a speakeasy, but besides that the vibes were on - an impressive bar greeted us upon entry, and we were then led to a large room with couches and chairs arranged for groups to gather. The room was very nice - it was kinda large with high ceilings but the low lighting, warm color scheme, soft furniture, and bookshelves lining the walls made the aesthetics very intimate. The menu has a selection of cocktails, spirits, wine, champagne, and bites. I focused on the cocktails and decided on the Sol; this was a smoke-infused cocktail with earthy notes and vermouth. The cocktail was good, not smooth but I don't think it was meant to - the smoke effect fanfare upon being served the drink was fun. We decided on a second round and I went with the Sesame Street - this was sweeter and smoother. Service was good - we were promptly taken care of and everyone was friendly. Overall, I had a great time at Osamil Upstairs - the vibes were on and the cocktails were solid. I would definitely consider returning if I was in the area.

The ambiance feels straight of the golden age, which is an aesthetic I'm certainly a sucker for. Even their robust cocktail menu fits the bill and is one of the prettiest menus I've ever had the joy of perusing. Staff was able to sit us a little bit ahead of our reservation which was also much appreciated. Wait staff was also very helpful and attentive, I don't think I've ever had my water glass so topped off! Starting off with cocktails, this place is a gin bar through and through and you'd be making a mistake if you didn't try one of their many options. I went with the 10,000 words, which you simply just give a spirit of your choice (I picked gin of course) and whether you antes) wanted your drink shaken or stirred and the bartender does the rest, so a bit of a surprise! I wound up with their version of The Last Word which was delightfully citrusy but I was hoping I'd wind up with something a little more adventurous app things considered. My girlfriend got the blackberry G&T, which was not only very pleasing to look at but delicious to boot. For food, we started with splitting some zucchini blossoms and beef cheek bao buns (both come in portions of 3). Both were tasty, but I love a good bao bun and these were so light and pillowy, I could have just went for an order of those for my main course. For the entree I went for the roasted half chicken, perhaps the most unassuming choice on the menu but this was maybe the best roast chicken I've ever had. Prepared perfectly, cooked to perfection, excellent portion size, and the kicker of it all was the stunning gravy that I was tempted to lick my plate for. Chicken is very easy to screw up, and they nailed it on all fronts here. My girlfriend went for the Valerie Signature burger with white cheddar and this thing did not mess around! A very rich patty, cooked to her temperature of choice served alongside some garlic truffle fries that made an American classic feel just a little more elevated. Our experience was delightful and I'd love to comeback here again, especially to check out more of the cocktail menu and soak in more of that golden age aura the place gives.

We jumped over to the bar right beside and drank some girly drinks before getting the notification our table was ready. As with nearly every establishment in NYC, it is very close quarters in paradise lost. We stood at a table while waiting for seats at the bar to become available. Which, we didn't mind. I could see how this might be a little harder to get a seat for a bigger group if you aren't there before 6. It seemed that once a group got a big table, they camped out. The drinks were strong and creative. Friendly bartenders, good music, and yummy options for bar snacks. Also, the bathroom is a nice touch. Given the hell theming for the bar, the bathroom is a 180 and while using the Lou, you can listen to the bible being recited. Theres also a spooky surprise if you press the button in the bathroom. Speaking of the bathroom, it is at the bottom of some decently narrow stairs. So, try and stay sober enough for stairs or you may fall. Go to this bar. You will have fun.

We wanted to have after-dinner cocktails in a chill space, so we searched on our phones & saw Paradise Lost address via Google. We proceeded to walk down & was unable to find the establishment due to their being no front sign. After walking back & forth a few times, we saw another group walking towards the door & they confirmed the place. We walked inside the front door pressed a "doorbell" & lo & behold we gained entry after the previous group went inside. Definitely an incognito entrance. Once inside that door there is someone to greet you, & take your information. There is a forest/ grass/ jungle-looking foyer/ hallway we walked down to get to the next door. Before we knew it, we were near the "Paradise Lost No Vacancy" neon sign w/ an arrow pointing towards the snake-shaped knob door. It gets opened & a supercool speakeasy awaits.... Paradise Lost has mixed style table / seating arrangements throughout the place. A bar seating section, booth-style seating area, lounge- style seating area, etc. We got there a little after 7pm, so the afterwork crowd was in full swing. Paradise Lost has interesting atmosphere. At times a Gothic / Medieval Vibe, meets place w/ shipwreck decor, meets eleganct /club vibe w/ beautiful ceiling lighting, etc. Music played in the background. Staff are friendly, energetic, & attentive. We were pleasantly overwhelmed w/ the vast selection of tiki cocktails that were on the menu. Paradise Lost also have an intimate selection of snacks/ food menu items. This included Popcorn, Tater Tots, Devilled Eggs Rangoon Dip, etc. We ordered some cocktails served in unique tiki mugs & a bucket of popcorn to munch on w/ our drinks. The popcorn is flavored w/ Sea Buckthorn & Browm Butter, which gave it an special flavor profile. Our cocktails were well-prepared & nice & strong. Paradise Lost has individual unisex bathroom stalls & a communal vanity & sink area. The bathroom stalls have spooky voices coming from a speaker as you use the bathroom. I was so humorously taken aback, it had me laughing when I came out...Definitely a different thing to experience in the bathroom - lol.
