They called me to let me know what they found, what it takes to fix it, and how much it was going to cost me prior to doing anything. They were quick to get it repaired and back to me. I returned to your establishment to address the issue, and you re-did the catalytic converter -- which suggested there was a problem with the first job. Now, a year later, I'm still experiencing the same issue. Multiple independent shops have confirmed that the catalytic converter currently installed is the same one I originally paid to have replaced. Despite all the money I've spent, I'm back to square one with the same unresolved problem. When I returned to your shop again to request accountability, I was turned away and told you would no longer help me. That's not how professional, ethical businesses operate. Customers deserve work that lasts -- or at the very least, honesty and support when problems arise due to substandard service. At this point, I feel taken advantage of. I trusted your expertise and paid in good faith. I am now considering further action, including filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, state consumer protection agencies, and leaving public reviews to warn others. This experience has been extremely disappointing. I hope you reconsider how you handle situations like this in the future and make things right for others going forward.

My wife and I have been coming to Freedom Automotive for a few years. The staff are consistently friendly, always greeting you with a smile. They are helpful, always wanting to ensure you walk away satisfied. And they are knowledgeable, able to answer any question posed to them. Recently I was purchasing a used vehicle on the other side of Houston. Naturally I wanted Freedom to inspect before the purchase. But the dealership wouldn't allow the car to be transported. So, I called Freedom and the owner, Sunny, answered and said he would perform the PPI. This was all last minute. Another time, I was stranded due to a vehicular issue. After talking to Sunny he went way out of his way to drive to where I was to inspect and resolve the situation. That is how dedicated and how much he cares about his customers. I brought the car by first thing on a Monday morning, they lent me a service loaner, and I headed to work. I came back on my lunch break and picked my car up promptly with no issues. I probably ended up paying a bit more than I could have somewhere else, but the service was good enough to be worth it.

Before going to this place I went to meineke at belfort and kirkwood and they told me that my flex pipe had some holes and they don't come by themselves and need to replace the whole thing (with catalytic convertor) costs $800. They also charged me $50 diagnostic fee. I stopped at new star and was told that they don't charge for diagnostics and told me that they can put in just the flex pipe by cutting it out and then weld it for $170. They did that in an hour and now my car has no noise. Awesome Job!! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to get work done on their mufflers.

He specializes in European cars ( even my old clunkers..) Mostly Mercedes, Volvo, and BMW, but he has also worked on my Toyota and my mother's Honda, so he can pretty much do it all (and does it well!) His shop is kinda in an obscure spot off of HWY 90 and Hirum Clark Rd., but its only about a 5 minute drive from Reliant Stadium. I promise you will not find a more superior Mechanic in Houston!!
