I…read morecalled 3 highly reviewed roofing companies in the Bay Area. 2 came out and gave me quotes, 1 no showed. Out of the 2 that came out, I choose to go forward with Apollo Roofing. I chose them for 2 major reasons. 1) they were going to deal with the scheduling of the removal and réinstallation of our solar panels. And 2) Shahar was so kind, informative, and honest during our consultation. He was through and kept us updated every step of the way. When our project finally started the crew were so respectful and kind! We found way more damage than we expected which resulted in our quote going up. However, due to Shahar being honest at the consultation we knew this was a possibility so it wasn't super shocking. The crew was great at cleaning up at the end of every day, which we appreciate as we have chickens, ducks, a puppy and cat as well as a child who are outside. When the project was done, there were a few concerns we had, we talk to Shahar and he quickly corrected and had the crew fix the items. Our roof is beautiful and will hopefully last many many years to come. I am thankful we went with Apollo Roofing and Happy Shahar was our project manager.

After replacing the boards, the showed us the pictures again and kept us updated. They also helped us replace some of the fascia that was rotten. Overall, their team is efficient and they tried their best to keep us updated throughout the process. There was a lot of debris as they removed the old roof, but they did a very good job cleaning up the areas around the house. One of the electrical circuits blew out during the process, but Apollo sent one of their electricians to ensure that it was fixed. Of course, the roof is one of those things where only time can tell, but we are hopeful that our new roof will last us quite some time!

I am very…read morehappy that I chose Saber Roofing for plenty of reasons. 1) The owner, Ryan, met with me to discuss the work and was very thorough and helpful in answering all my questions. 2) Important details were covered including adding a rain chain in a location where a downspout would have been unsightly (picture attached). Among the details, the rain chain is made of copper while the gutter is made of aluminum. Having these two metals come in contact could compromise the aluminum over time. So, Saber installed the copper rain chain with a protective barrier. 3) Their client service and sales director, Jake, was super helpful and extremely responsive to all my questions. 4) The crew was very efficient, provided high quality workmanship, and left the site spotless. 5) The gutter guards that were installed provide a really fine barrier to prevent even small debris from entering my gutters, but are easy to rinse so that fine particles can be washed through the gutters. 6) The two downspouts that were installed were matched to the color of our trim. Other companies offer limited colors or simply white downspouts, but Saber offers a wide variety. 7) Their pricing is very competitive. From end to end, this was a great experience and I highly recommend Saber Roofing.

Hey, this company is a legit General Contractor. They bid on jobs, not hours. Your complainers are uneducated. Hours? LOL whats a kitchen remodel run in the bay area? These guys climb your building, risk their lives, work hard until it's done. Your gutters are overflowing??? Guess you should have used Oscar from the get go. Why don't you go to a restaurant and explain that you were happy with your meal, yet disappointed with the parsley garnish because it was wilted. Freaks! 5 stars! No less. Oscar was very prompt and professional. I needed to replace 3 downspouts, with potentially clogged drains. I have contacted 3 roofers including United Roofing, James. He is the first one reply to me on the same day. The other 2, one get back to me 3 days later and one 4 days later. James provided the best price by far and was able to squeeze in the time to replace the roof within the insurance company timeline. I like working with him, it;s is very important to me to work with contractor that likes to work with their customer. When they started the work, I was up on the roof seeing how the install the new roof, especially installing the flashing part. Very well trained and everyone has good knowledge and experience on what they are doing. Of curse, i asked them questions and provided the correct answers. I was one an electrician and had experience dealing with different contractors, so I know who is BSing me and who really know their stuffs. After they finished their excellent job on time, I had referred 3 more customers to James. Including my friend who referred James to me. I know that James had done 5 roofs, including mine, there is no problem so far and his price is the most reasonable. I highly recommended James and his crews.

The tricky thing is…read morethat I have a slate roof which really shouldn't be walked on and Steve really stood out bc he was the only one who said he can get a boom lift to get to the roof so he wont have to walk on it. Everyone else pretty much said, we'll try to be careful but cant guarantee anything which wasn't comforting to hear. True to his word, he and his associate Ebe never walked on the roof and managed to use the boom lift to do the entire installation. They actually had to upgrade the boom lift from a 40 ft to a 65 ft in the middle of the project but Steve still honored the original contract price. As if that wasn't enough, we also had some old leaks on the roof that Steve was kind enough to help us with while he was up there. Its been a great experience working with Steve and honestly so refreshing to see such a good guy in the trade. I loved that at the end he said "those are our gutters now (ie mine and his) and we will be here if anything happens to them" - he truly takes ownership and pride for his craftsmanship.

I had a leak that would only appear once during the whole winter of '23, I sealed what I could when…read moreit was dry, but same thing happened again in winter '24 (leaked just once all winter). Ron responded pretty quick and I walked the roof with him. He couldn't see any obvious leak either so he proposed to pull a section of roof singles. I didn't need a new roof replacement but asked anyways. Said my roof is old, but still looked good. So I accepted his bid because I value honesty. Turned out to be a nail in the single, but landed between the plywood sheets underneath from 15 yrs ago. I guess over time the nail expanded and contracted make the hole big enough to let water through. They have a 3 yr warranty on the repair, but hopefully I don't have to use it.
