Meagan is so amazing that she knows what you want as you walk in if you have been there a few times. Even if Meagan doesn't know who you are, you are treated with the same respect and consideration as the regulars who have been there many years longer than me. Like to find local cigar bars when traveling on business. This is a great location in the heart of downtown but I have to say it wasn't quite the positive experience I usually find in this type of establishment. The bartender was pretty surly so I and my business associates felt let we were a bother to him. Not sure if he was stressed because he was the only employee in the place. Other than the bartender, the atmosphere was nice and not too busy. May try this place again if travels bring me back to the area. read more

I can see why Cork's is loved. My brother and I stumbled upon Cork's as we explored Bradenton and happened upon lovely, lively 12th St. W. My brother loves cigars, so in we went. Ambiance wise it is nothing exceptional, but exceptional is not always needed. A long bar sat plenty of people with good spacing in between seats, while round high tables dotted the back. Large screen televisions played sports while upbeat music played in the background. Lighting was low, but not impossibly dark. The bar simply was comfortable and relaxing. The cigar smoke was never overpowering and the drinks were very good. The bartender was very warm and welcoming. He talked with us casually and was pleasant conversationalist. We stayed a couple hours, drinking and talking, and then quickly paid our tab and departed. The service was exquisite and I hope Cork's stays around for a long time when I visit Florida. read more

They have the best Bloody Mary in town and have plenty of choices to drink whatever you want. As it is a cigar bar you can smoke inside and they sell a good selection of cigars and full bar. A big drawback is the live music which usually starts around 9pm. Go there before 9pm. Live music starts then and you can't even talk to your closest neighbor anymore. Much too loud. I saw many people leaving because of that. Can't understand the owner here. Better get a DJ and a well installed sound system, not a sledgehammer system like now. Bar staff is friendly, but sometimes "forget" to order new beer kegs. Great local bar where smoking is permitted! Small humidor with decent selections and prices. I was here for Sunday football and was greeted with table of wings and hotdogs for everyone. Great bucket o' beer deals as well as at least a dozen beers on tap including several local breweries. Super friendly staff and 6 TV screens. Awesome place!! read more

This place was we though a great hang out till little we had known, that the bartender's girl firend was drunk and started a comotion, then the bar tender had "us" kicked out. Sad to say they made a good amount of money on pur group there was 14 of us. Could made even more but because of the bar tender sliiping his girl friend drinks for free, then she getting drunk off that and wanted to start crap with others is very wrong. Please mgt, I wish you would have been more understanding and kicked her out as well, including the bar tender. read more

Good vibes, live band which I rather enjoyed. Taking awhile to get a drink so went to a better location in the bar where the bartenders frequented to increase my odds. Waited another 10 and finally signaled the bartender closest to me. This jerk of a bartender gave me the rudest look of discontent which followed by a nasty "be there in a second."Being in the customer service industry made this response completely unacceptable. He did end up serving me after 20 minutes of waiting for a drink. My date and I wanted to walk around so I ask the same bartender for two plastic cups. He makes a smug look and completely ignores my request that would have taken him two seconds to pull off. I have my date ask the other bartender for the cups and we go on our way, never to return. read more
