We've given Motorworks multiple chances because the outdoor ambiance and live music are genuinely great--but the rest of the experience continues to fall short. The drink list has gotten noticeably smaller over time and is pretty underwhelming. Beer options are limited, and they're often out of multiple selections, which gets frustrating. Even when available, the beers and cocktails are just okay--nothing that really stands out or makes you want to come back specifically for the drinks. Not having a full kitchen is another downside. The food truck works if you need something quick, but it feels overpriced for the quality and doesn't elevate the overall experience. The staff has always been friendly and upbeat, which we appreciate. There is also a manager/owner presence that can come across a bit cocky at times, but that's not the main issue here. The bigger frustration is that this place has so much potential--it has the space, the vibe, and the crowd. It could easily be a standout spot if there were more attention put into expanding the drink selection, improving quality, and creating a more well-rounded food experience. Right now, it just feels like it's not being prioritized.

This is our 2nd visit to this location. We were in town to do a 5k and the restaurants were all packed with holiday parties so we went a little further from our hotel to eat and drink where we knew the food was good. I absolutely love the creamy feta and hot honey appetizer! The smashburger and fries with a lager made my husband very happy. My son liked the ravioli, although it was more of a vodka sauce than a bolognese. I had the Cinzia pizza sandwich which was far too much food so I only ate the insides and a little crust. Would visit again and recommend to others.

When traffic was stopped, we couldn't move. Low and behold we were right in front of Motorworks. Just had to go in to let traffic lighten up. Glad we did. Very wide selection of beer. Being a Monday, just walked right up to the bar, no waiting and got a very good Scottish Ale. Nice afternoon and headed out to the beer garden. It's very big and relaxing with a HUGE tree as the centerpiece. Very cool and a great way to unwind from the traffic jam. Had eaten a late lunch so didn't eat but they did have a food cart/truck available. Even if you are not stuck in traffic, do not pass by Motorworks!

This place was dead when we stopped by, not their fault, it was early on a week day. We needed guidance since we weren't familiar with the beer. The bartender was seemingly high as a kite and not helpful as we ordered a flight. The inside smelled like wet mop. The outside was pretty neat, and I imagine it's a good time when there are other patrons. I can't remember the last time I disliked beer so much I didn't drink it... but that happened here.

We stopped by to sample their beer, since we'd only ever had one (pulp friction) at a restaurant. My husband had a flight of IPAs, and his favorite was the Intellectual. I was happy they had 2 mocktails to choose from and liked the Strawberry Drift. Traffic nearby was really backed up, so be sure to use your GPS for the fastest route.

We stumbled upon this place tonight and so glad we did! The beer was awesome!!! Light Lager Beer was our favorite! We had some chicken sandwiches and fries that were very tasty! The vibe was great and the service was as well! Definitely recommend!

Fun vibe and solid food despite their kitchen/food truck limitations. Lots of beer options too, obviously.

What time does the kitchen close?

They do not actually have their own kitchen. They work with several other businesses and food trucks that bring in food from their locations. The time can very based on the day and some places are not available everyday.

    Days and hours?

Right at the bottom of their web page. Hours sometimes change, so posting here isn't a great idea.

This place is 100% legit, 5-star authentic. The second I sat down, the vibe transported me straight back to a cozy Gasthaus. Wooden tables, charming décor, hanging greenery, and the best part, a live accordion player (complete with the traditional hat) pumping out the classics. It wasn't background music; it was full-on "let's have a good time" entertainment that had the whole room smiling. Pure joy. Then the food arrived and I basically died and went to Wurst Heaven. Behold the Jägerschnitzel (Hunter's Schnitzel). A massive, perfectly golden-breaded pork cutlet smothered in the richest, creamiest mushroom gravy you've ever tasted, topped with fresh parsley and a little color from shredded carrots. One bite and I was right back in München with its crispy outside, juicy inside, sauce so good I wanted to lick the plate. Paired it with two proper German beers (one Hefeweizen and a Dunkel) that had the perfect head and tasted like they were poured straight from a Munich beer hall. Portions are generous, everything is made fresh, and the service is warm and efficient. Whether you're a local, a Tampa Bay visitor, or just someone passing through who appreciates real German comfort food, Edelweiss delivers. I'm looking forward to a return visit. If you love authentic German cuisine, live music, and a place that feels like home (even if home is 5,000 miles away), stop what you're doing and go. You'll leave full, happy, and probably humming an accordion tune. Prost! I'll be back for more Schnitzel and beer very soon.

Upon walking in, the impression is very authentic German. We were seated promptly although waitress thought we were with a party of 6 and it was just my husband & I. Seated us and we ordered drinks and shortly thereafter we ordered the food. It arrived quickly, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the overall dining experience did not meet our expectations. The potato pancakes lacked flavor and were quite bland. The Wiener schnitzel was especially disappointing -- the veal was very difficult to cut, and the breading fell off almost immediately, causing the dish to fall apart. It did not feel like an authentic German preparation. The rouladen was just ok, lacking flavor also. We were quite surprised, particularly since the owner is from Berlin. It seemed clear that the owner is not the chef or directly involved in the kitchen. My husband is from Germany so we know what authentic German food is. On a positive note, the music was authentic and added a nice touch to the atmosphere, which we did enjoy.

We asked if there was bread, and they have a complementary bread and pesto that was excellent. We each chose something different so we could try four different meals. The fish tacos were great! Great flavor and huge piece of fresh fish. The green beans are an excellent side choice. The grilled salmon was also excellent. The key lime aioli was sweet, but delicious. The crab cake was not deep fried and crispy, but full of large pieces of crab. The homemade potato chips and fries were great. I did prefer the fries. They also have gluten free buns for the burgers. Salmon + green beans did what they needed to do. They gave me coleslaw too, did I ask for it? no. did I eat it? also no, but that's a personal preference thing. We also got the Mediterranean sampler and that was actually really good. I even tried my mom's martini of the month and I don't even like martinis like that but I would 100% drink that one again. The vibe is kinda in between, you can dress up or show up casual and not feel weird. It's a little loud but in a fun way like good for a date night or girls night. Service was decent, the girl at the bar was nice and clearly doing everything at once, so no complaints there. Drinks aren't insanely strong, but they can be cute depending on what you order. My wine looked like...wine, but my mom's martini had a cute rim. It ended up being around $57 not including tip which honestly felt cheap for everything we got. Only downside is street parking, so be ready to walk a bit if you didn't park right beside it. I'd definitely go back if I'm in the area.
