Non-existent customer service. I called this past Friday to place an urgent flower order for a friend who lost her dog. No one answered. So, I emailed them every detail for my order (addressee, message, which bouquet I wanted) and included my phone number and name so we could process payment. I stated that I wanted to get the flowers delivered that day or Saturday at the latest. It is now Sunday and they have never even responded. Despite beautiful floral arrangements and having shopped here for several years, customer service as of recent is absolutely horrible. An arrangement was guaranteed and paid 3 days in advance for delivery before noon on Mother's Day. I mentioned I could pick up my arrangement on Saturday, however, Josh who took my order and payment, offered to deliver since he lived in the same building as delivery, which is only 1/2 block away from flower shop. At 10 am on day of delivery, I saw Josh walking his dog. I was assured he would deliver flowers within the hour. Agreed that would be great. At 2 pm that day . . . Still NO delivery! It is now too since I had to leave building with my mother. Josh attempted to make a delivery at 2:15, however no one is home now. Again, I was PROMISED delver BEFORE noon. I waited until 2 pm! At 2:15 Josh attempted a delivery, however as instructed, Concierge explained that order needs to be returned due to non delivery within a demanded request at purchase. I spoke briefly to Josh via cell phone to explain, however, his aggressive demeanor was abrupt as he yelled that I was "an impatient S.O.B. then hung up. For 3 days I have contacted Oshi customer service requesting a call back to refund this purchase. They have avoided all communication. There are several flower shops downtown Nashville. Strongly urge shopping elsewhere with a business that appreciates customer loyalty, and at the very least, follow up with return communications in order to solve this dilemma caused by an unworthy employee. read more

I can always count on OSHi to provide great service and excellent floral designs. I worked with Shelley and Ethan to come up with the perfect design for my boss's work anniversary. Not only was she blown away but everyone that attended the reception commented on how lovely all three arrangements were. We needed something fresh, clean and monochromatic to compliment the abstract artwork in space and Ethan nailed it. I requested for the delivery to arrive by 10AM and the arrangements arrived on time and delivered by very friendly gentleman. I can't recommend this florist enough! I called from Houston desperate to have an arrangement delivered the same day for a dear friends birthday. They were so gracious and accommodating. I, emphasis on I, did not include the unit number in the address, but they again went above and beyond calling me to clarify which of the units was correct. Most importantly, the arrangement that ordered (and upgraded) was spectacularly beautiful-well worth the additional fee. Like most florists these days, Oshi sent me a photo of the sympathy arrangement that I ordered from them. Honestly, it wasn't artistic, it was just weird-looking. It was also kind of skimpy. I paid the exact same amount for another arrangement in the Chicago area; it was bigger and much more attractive. I spoke in person to both designers and described what I wanted. I know that I was clear because the Chicago florist did exactly what I asked while Oshi... did not. I can't exactly describe what Oshi did because it's indescribable. It was a tall arrangement with an odd sort of Elizabethan collar of fluffy white flowers around the rim of the vase. read more

First of all, I have to say that I had a good laugh when I saw the OSHi sign--it read, "London Paris Tokyo Nashville". I mean, how did they pick Nashville, TN out of all other locations in the US? I would have thought New York, but that's pretty cool that it's here! Pretty funny. Anyway, this is an upscale floral arranging shop--they have a tiny cooler with beautiful roses and tulips available for sale by the stem, but the bulk of their business is exotic arrangements. It's such a small shop that it's hard to get an idea of exactly what they can do, but the guy behind the counter--while he never got up out of his chair--was helpful in that he said the website is the best way to see all of what they can do. I have been to several events in Nashville where their flowers are in the spotlight, and I have to say they are phenomenal--but expensive! If you are in need of a wonderfully exotic arrangement, contact OSHi. If you just need a bouquet for your sweetie, go elsewhere! Minus a star for the parking (downtown is horrible everywhere) and the fact that you can't tell much from the store. read more

We were in Nashville for 3 days for Our anniversary. Hubby woke up early on the 2nd day for coffee and flowers and stumbled across this place. The store wasn't even open yet but the owner saw him out there and opened the doors. Then he explained that since we were just in town for 2 more days he just wanted something simple and to show thought. The guy quickly made up 2 roses and a big white Lilly. I'll start this review by asking you to think about the last time you had a really shitty experience on the phone with a company 2500 miles away. My experience with Oshi was the complete opposite. They are some legit flower designers (is that the correct term?). Although a bit pricey, Mr Oshi and his team put together 2 bunches that the ladies loved (bachelorette party). Super responsive and was even able to make last minute accommodations for delivery. The flowers he put together were so nice, my wife didn't want to leaf it (boom). read more

My husband always has a single rose waiting for me in our hotel rooms when we travel. It's not always an easy task as many florists have a minimum. Once in a while we run into one that's going to make it happen no matter what. That's what happened with OSHi. Since the single rose was below their $35.00 minimum for delivery, they added a stem of three lilies that opened one at a time over the five days we were there. Update 2/25/13 : I have added two stars to my review. After my wife returned home to Seattle,we were shocked to receive a beautiful bouquet of flowers as an apology. It proved to my wife that I didn't forget & pulled me out of the dog house. I appreciate the gesture. I have always found the metal of a business is shown when they respond to a mistake. I feel bad knowing how website people are and how small biz people are held hostage to the semi-pro slacker web devs that service the small biz demographic. First time leaving her 1 year old or traveling alone. I wanted to send her the best flowers I could find in Nashville. I read reviews & some trendy stories, all said Oshi was the place. I went online to get their info and they suggested using the online order form. I did just that and after I submitted it I got directions to await a call for payment. I waited 12 hours then called, left a message. No call in 2 hours. Called the next number left a message no reply. Hour later called another number and finally got a person. She proceeded to tell me she doesn't have my order and that others have called and said the same thing. She proceeded to suggest I call someone else... at 3pm on Valentines Day. Seriously??? You caused the problem, you fix it. Why should I play phone tag & beg from Seattle when you screwed up? When I suggested she fix it she said, "No way". I had a terrible experience with this store both times . The first was a late delivery and I brushed it off as human error however the next time was an absolute nightmare . Flowers came in the store that were horrible then called me to explain a delay. This was a Tuesday and I needed them to be delivered by Friday at the latest. So I excepted this until Thursday wanting to know when they would arrive? Called them they had promised that everything will be fine OMG it was not. After several phone calls to make sure that my fiancé would receive a surprise delivery it never got to her in time . I explained on the phone when she finishes her job & they still sent the flowers to a closed business 2 hours after she finished work. The surprise was ruined I had to inform my girl who has had such a bad week that the flowers did not turn up . Not only did they fail her but when I called they picked up the phone recognising my number and did not answer me . The number was left to my girl who managed to have almost wilted flowers delivered on the Monday afternoon after he promised to deliver them to her home address on the Saturday . It was a joke , I still have his emails that apologise for dropping the ball ... In his words . That said we will make it up to you . They have not done anything after over a month , so I let the public know that they are awful and robbed me of a couple of hundred dollars . Bad experience , definitely the worst read more

I rarely write a bad review but after my experience with Oshi, I didn't want someone else to get ripped off. I used their on line order form to order flowers for a friend's birthday. I selected the $100 option but then paid an additional $25 to "step it up" since it was a big celebration. When the recipient sent me pictures I was embarrassed. The arrangement looked no where near the example posted on line. It had about 3 quality flowers then a bunch of leggy filler. It was the most pitiful arrangement I've ever seen. Several of the girls at the party told me about how sad it looked. I emailed & called Oshi but never received a response or call back. Did they think I wouldn't receive a picture & know what they sent on my behalf? $136 was my total & that's not a cheap amount for delivered flowers. But the arrangement they sent screamed cheap! Do yourself a favor & find someone else. This company is nothing but a con artist. read more

This year my girlfriend and I decided to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday together. It was a doubly special occasion because it was also the first time that our families would meet (save for our mothers, but that's a story for another time). My mom and brothers and I were walking around downtown the day before turkey day looking for a florist and happened upon OSHi. Mom was looking for a quick/cheap arrangement just to say thank you to my girlfriend's parents for hosting everybody - I think she was hoping to find something pre-arranged like you'd find in your local grocery store florist. So when we walked into OSHi I was quite certain we wouldn't find anything in our price range. The place is definitely classy, and you can tell they do most, if not all, of their business in custom arrangements. We asked the man at the front desk about pricing/availability and explained the occasion and our hesitations about purchasing a custom arrangement (short background: my family is newly poor). He just asked for us to give him a price range and told us that we would be taken care of..he was, in fact, the owner of the place - "Mr. Oshi" (though when pressed, or if you pickup a card, you'll find his name to be Perri Crutcher). When we returned a mere 90 mins later, Perri was putting the finishing touches on our arrangement. When he finally pulled it from behind the counter and presented it to my mom we were all speechless. Surely this was another customer's arrangement - it could not possibly have been done for the price range we specified...but he assured us that it was ours (we still think he made a mistake, or was feeling extra charitable). The man is truly an artist and a gentleman, and his work speaks for itself. The fact that he was able to put something together so quickly on the day before a major holiday, while still maintaining superior quality at an affordable price, was beyond impressive. I had to sign-up for a Yelp account just to post this review, but Mr. Oshi made it worthwhile. Perri, thanks for your kindness, your help, and your art - my girlfriend's family was equally pleased with the arrangement, which sat centerpiece at the table during the Thanksgiving feast. The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is because of Marlow. I ordered $100 setup for Valentines to be delivered before noon about 2 blocks from their location. By 3PM it still was not delivered. I literally had to drive to Nashville and pick it up myself and deliver it myself. Although Marlow was apologetic and very kind he couldn't produce the flowers. He set me up with my order for me to deliver myself. It was very disappointing because I had been told many positive things about OSHI. read more

I ordered a small arrangement for my mother, as she was recovering from surgery at Vanderbilt. They are definitely on the cutting edge of floral design. We used Oshi for our wedding and words cannot describe how wonderful Perri of Oshi Flowers is. The man is not a florist, he is an artist. I almost cried when I saw my bouquet because it was more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. After meeting with him I knew that all I had to do was give him some inspiration and let him run with it. I told him I wanted ivory, green, and lilac for the colors. My only specific requests were white and green lady slipper orchids in my bouquet and my husband's boutonniere, and lilacs in silver plated vases for the centerpieces. What he gave us was AMAZING, he made a special head table arrangement for us with tulips submerged in glass vases, gorgeous silver vases for the centerpieces with lilacs, roses, and other flowers I don't even know the names of. He did corsages for the mother, brought giant silver candelabras to stand at the entrance to the reception, gorgeous ceremony flowers, a flowergirl basket with a bouquet in it along with rose petals. Let me just tell you about the quality and care this company provides for its customers. My wife and I threw a Holiday Party on the Saturday before Christmas. It was one heck of a shindig that went well into the night. The next day, Wife had to go to work with a horrible hangover and I got to stay in bed all day. Once I got to feeling bad about this, I went on the hunt for a florist to deliver flowers to her for work. NO FLORIST WORKS ON SUNDAY - AND THEY SURE DONT DELIVER. Oshi was the only one to answer the phone. I explained my predicament, and he said the soonest he would be able to deliver would be Monday. So I pretty much gave up hope. Then not even 10 minutes later, I received a text from the owner asking me her name, where she worked, and what I wanted the card to say. Needless to say, I was blown away that this busy man on his only day off, would go out of his way to make My Lady feel special. And damn, did I get some brownie points. I will never use any other florist in this city than Oshi! As a business owner, I do not know how to convey my appreciation and respect in a better way than telling this story all over the city.
