She sees the same nail technician, Cindy, who does an outstanding job. I have also had my nails done when I visit my daughter, this most recent time is no exception. And I am visiting all the way from California. Jack did my nails- and he did a great job. This review does not concern the nails techs, Cindy and Jack. Rather, this is focused on the poor customer service from the receptionist, Shania. My daughter scheduled our appointments on Saturday afternoon. We arrived on time, my daughter went to her technician's station after checking us in. Unfortunately, the receptionist did not show me where to go or tell me who my appointment was with. First impressions are lasting impressions. I noted this as I returned to the front desk and repeated my name, that I had an appointment but did not know with whom my appointment was scheduled. Shania showed me to Jack's station but still failed to tell me his name. At the end of our services ($300 of services for my daughter and me), Shania asked me if I wanted my receipt, to which I said 'Yes". I asked Shania if I could tip in cash, which she said 'Yes'. I gave Shania 2 $20 bills and informed her I was tipping $20 to Jack, $10 to Lin (the techs who did my mani, pedi). My daughter already tipped her nail tech. Shania failed to give me my change and I did not notice until we left the salon and went to our next destination. By the time we got to our destination, I told my daughter we need to go back to the salon because I did not receive my change. When we returned, my daughter went inside, explained to Shania that she did not give me my change ($10). Shania told my daughter that I told her $30 tip for Jack and $10 for Lin, that Jack already left for the day and we'd have to wait until Monday before we could get the change. My daughter told her that was wrong, I would not have tipped $30 on a $100 service and did we really have to wait until Monday to get change that was owed. My daughter returned to the car and gave me Shania's explanation which was unacceptable to me so I went into the salon. I confronted Shania who repeated the same story- that I told her $30 tip for Jack, $10 for Lin. I said, "You're lying because I clearly told you $20 for Jack, $10 for Lin". I don't normally call people out like that but there was no remorse from Shania, no apology, no words like, 'I'm sorry for the misunderstanding." Instead, she responded with feigned shock, said it was not a big deal and gruffly put 2 $5 bills in my hand. I said if it was not a big deal then you should have given my daughter the money when she came in a minute ago, particularly because we doubled back once I realized I did not get my change. This is not about the $10. Rather, this is about the principle of the matter- how to treat customers who are spending good money in your salon. This is not how a receptionist should deal with customers. She took no accountability, no responsibility for the mistake. If she had genuinely apologized, that would have been different. I explained to Shania that we doubled back because I realized the error and even then she could not manage to muster an ounce of remorse. She is a horrible receptionist. A receptionist is the face of a business. The first person that a customer interacts with whether over the phone or in person. Shania should not be the face of your business. Please put a receptionist in place that understands the value of providing good customer service and has the maturity and wherewithal to acknowledge when a mistake has been made. Until then, your business will suffer. I echo the comments of a prior reviewer- the additional charges for every little thing is annoying and leaves a poor taste in customer's mouths, not to mention seeing each technician with signs posted at their stations with QR codes to send them tips. Seeing those posters and signs for how customers can tip each nail technician through Venmo or a Cash App service really cheapens the ambiance and having to interact with a receptionist who has no clue on how to treat customers does not help!!!! $300 for nail services for 2 people, plus tip and a bad attitude? I don't think so.

I was immediately greeted upon entering and only had to wait a short time to be seated at a station. Being an ambivert and not really into small talk, I don't usually hold conversions while getting my nails done. But! Kay and I talked and laughed for almost the entire time! She's very personable and down to earth. She's also a perfectionist, which I love. It's very evident that she loves what she did and takes great pride in her work. Last week, my scheduled pedicure appointment with Kelly was switched to another technician without prior notice. Unfortunately, this technician was visibly upset and, when I politely instructed her on how I wanted my pedicure done, she became aggressive and began yelling at me. To my shock, she stopped in the middle of the service and told me to find someone else to finish. Another technician eventually stepped in and completed the pedicure, but by that point, I was already humiliated. I asked to speak with a manager at the time, but my request was ignored. Three days later, I called and spoke with Sophia, who assured me the manager would return my call, but no one ever did. I find it unacceptable that I was treated so unprofessionally and then disregarded when I tried to address the issue. At the very least, I expected an apology and some acknowledgment of the poor treatment I received. Since that did not happen, I will no longer be returning to the salon. I hope you take this feedback seriously so that no other clients have to endure a similar experience.

This establishment is in the same plaza as where I had to pick up my prescription glasses and sunglasses, that yeah, I was also putting off lol. So I sort of got lucky today when I wasted my time driving to a training that was rescheduled and I was not informed. And I decided to run with it. I walk in and was greeted immediately by an employee at the desk right by the door. I requested a gel manicure because the regular stuff does not stay on my nails longer than 1 day. She provided me the plastic nail color sample. To be honest, there was not much variety. I wanted a dark red sparkle color for Christmas and did not see anything like that. I was led to the chair I would be sitting in and I asked the technician doing my nails if there were more possible options. He provided me another set and I chose from there. The most important aspects of nail salons for me are if their tools are sterile and they actually paint my nails properly. I scanned the place while my technician was hard at work. The establishment is very clean and well kept, along with their tools. My technician's name by the way is Whiskey. Yes, like the drink lol! He was very thorough and did an excellent job. My gel manicure was $27 which is not horrible. No glass of wine like the last place I went lol. I am definitely visiting here again and requesting Whiskey. The picture is just for reference. I've faced the same issue *in every single viatnamess nail salon* and that's why I always end up with Russion manicure. It is the WROST feeling to pay almost $200 (in certain countries this will be your rent for a house) and your pedicure looks like crap. Russion pedicure lasts me beautifully 2/3 months.
