I had been toying with the idea of lash extensions for a long time. I heard they looked absolutely fabulous, but I knew they were also expensive and time consuming. I finally decided to take the plunge for my son's Bar Mitzvah. After all, if I was t going to get lashes for this special event, when would I? I did my research on Yelp and had pretty much decided on where I was going....until I noticed Robyn Berman Beauty. I have to admit what intrigued me (besides the five star reviews) was the Yelp $89 for $220 deal. Although I did pay an extra $30 for a full set of lashes, I have to say the deal was worth it, and still less expensive than many other places. Robin works out of her house but is a complete professional. She thoroughly explains the process, which can take about two hours! Robyn will let you get up for breaks if you feel uncomfortable. Most of the time I felt relaxed and sleepy throughout the process. The result was long, luscious, but still pretty natural looking lashes. I was thrilled with them. Robyn is truly an artist! I tried the lashes a few weeks before the Bar Mitzvah to make sure they "worked" and I didn't get any bad reactions. I then got one fill just prior to the event. I don't think I will continue regularly due to the time involved and cost, however I would do it again for a special event. read more

I discovered Robyn via Groupon, and was so glad to have found her! It was a Sunday, and the lashes that I had previously tried were not to my liking. They looked fake and weighed on my eyes. I started to take them off, along with my natural eyelashes. The results was bald in some spots. When I went to Robyn, she took her time in explaining the whole process to me from how to care for them and even offered products that could help my lashes grow back out again. She prepares your lashes by cleaning them and priming them, something that was not done at the previous place. Although they are not as full as they could have been, due to my plucking off the other lashes, her work is absolutely amazing! I went with the natural glamorous look for now until they grow back, but have already pre-booked my next appointment and plan on trying out the Hybrid lashes. Her work is truly amazing, and they feel so much like my natural lashes. Not course at all, very light from root to tip. They dont even look like extensions. Highly recommend her! read more

I got eyelash extensions with Robyn for my wedding recently, I had never had them before and did a trial run a couple weeks before to make sure I didn't have a bad reaction and then came back 2 weeks later for a fill right before the wedding. Robyn was so great about explaining the whole process to me and she took her time to make sure my lashes were perfect. I was doing a destination wedding in Nassau coming off a cruise ship so I knew I was going to be pressed for time to get ready and wanted to have one less thing to worry about on the big day. I'm so glad I went with the permanent lashes because my mom and sister had the strip lashes and it was so windy on the beach both of them lost their lashes! Appt I scheduled about ten days ago for was cancelled by business owner. This was a PRE-PAID Groupon service. I did not have phone access the night prior to my appointment from 6:30pm to 9:00pm as I was in a tennis match (or could have been working). During that brief time frame, Robyn sent a text requesting a confirmation for today's 1pm appt. by 9pm THAT NIGHT or it would be cancelled as she had a "waiting list" of clients. When I expressed unhappiness this morning after I awoke and saw it, she offered me a 3:30pm time slot instead. How about giving that time slot to the "waiting list" client instead of cancelling my 1pm? I personally feel that something else was going on and this was a creative way to bump me. No mention on the web-site, as of today, of this "policy." Even physicians give a 24 hr reminder. I am out $$. read more

I met Robyn through her sister who recommended her for my wedding in June 2016. Now, I do not wear makeup on a regular basis (foundation, powder, mascara, done.) and dreaded getting it done for my wedding. We all know how it goes, you sit down tell the makeup gal you want a "natural look" and about an hour later leave looking like a clown ... or maybe that's just me. So when it was time for my engagement photos I decided to take the plunge and call Robyn. I met up with her a couple hours before my photo session armed with a bunch of pictures and secretly praying that I'd look at least decent. When I told her I didn't really like the contouring, instead of catching an attitude (like most makeup artists I have been to do) she simply said no problem and made it go away.
