And I just stop going because I didn't want to be down so long 4 to 8 weeks off and I couldn't afford to be off work with know way to pay my bills! I put it in Gods hands because I needed the surgery are I wouldn't be able to continue working in the future!! I went back and once cleared !! I had the surgery which took hours to fix my leg! Everything went great!!! I love it there!! Everyone is very nice and understanding! I asked a lot of question of them !! Many many days !! They had know problems repeated everything I asked until I fully understood!! And they helped me through it all !! I had surgery September 24th !! I'm alive and doing as good to be expected!!! Background: I joined a flag football league, and I practice some with my coworkers. My coworker probably meant to take me out with the football. But my quick reflexes meant that I instead caught it poorly and snapped a piece of my pinky bone off - aka an avulsion fracture. Yay bones. (Also jk about my coworker meaning me harm lol.) 7 weeks of flag football games = no problem. 1 morning practice sesh = no bueno. After having that confirmed at urgent care, I came to see Dr. Vo about what treatment etc would look like. + 4 weeks in a curved (natural curve) splint + 2 weeks of practicing flexibility + then squeezing some balls until I restrengthen my pinky (and get your mind outta the gutter! Haha) His demeanor is described spot-on by the other reviewer. He's a whirlwind, but listens to you and is great with answering any questions you may have. So, I check in (a quick and uneventful check in) and inside 20 min I've filled in all the new…read morepatient forms. 10 min later I'm in a room where the Russian lady is taking my vitals, asking questions about my family history. Very nice lady. She even laughs at my corney jokes! Then she tells me she couldn't read my writing (neither can I! I have tremors.) She laughs at that and we go through all the meds I take for their records. She thanks me and says the dr would be in in a few minutes. About 5 minutes pass and the doc enters the room. He asks how the staff did. I tell him they did great. "Yeah," he says "they're so cool". (And he meant that) Then he starts talking about current events. Then he says "you have" (lists some of my afflictions). I say (wondering how he knew) yeah. We talk a little, he listens to my heart, lungs and says "you have copd too, dont you?" Yeah I say, howd you know? (I never put copd on my check-in papers.) "Lots if experience" he says. We talk about my medical issues. He has an UNCANNY understanding of my issues and quick fixes and long term fixes for my problems. He asks how things are on my current meds. I tell him good...all things considered. He asks if I would like to try one additional prescription. I'm interested. He says the meds that I had discontinued before seeing him attempt to treat only one part of my symptoms. This new med treats a different symptom. He writes it up. I'm going to try it this weekend. Ill check back. BOTTOM LINE: Dr. Morrill is a cut ABOVE most docs. Unassuming, with a wealth of experience, knowledge and even some humor. He's a combat era vet. That makes it easy for me to say: I literally trust this man with my life! P.S. If you can ever find a dr's office that does not have an occasional scheduling problem, well that means you're in heaven, because here on earth plans and schedules seldom go off without a hitch! It is much larger than the old North Garland facility with what looks to be an emergency center in part of the building. After circling one time to get my bearings of where the clinic area was located I entered. I should say the reason I've stayed with Baylor all these years is personal, friendly service and diagnostic advanced care. So it was good to know progress and growth had not dampened those attributes, but as one should expect- made positive strides in my opinion to advance both service and care with a bit more speed. Being employed in tech I immediately appreciate their use of new "stuff", from the Phone app to the gear they employ for even my simple checkup. Nothing like speed when your waiting on the numbers! Service- It's a big place but after determining where clinic was from the entryway shingle, I was greeted warmly and escorted to the area where my new doctor served. Short wait- very good first visit with "new" Dr- some diagnostic tech and I'm done. While I was out in under 1 hr, even with a meet/greet the new doctor, I felt very good about the visit and Baylor. This was a Friday the 13th visit but I had some lab results on Saturday via the Baylor app and full results with Doctor recommendations Sunday evening. Pleased to say the least - 5/5!

However, BSW is now adding an extra $300 "Hospital Facility Fee" to every doctor visit. My last doctor visit was $300 to see the doctor, $150 for blood tests done in the dr office, and a $300 Hospital Fee. $750 for a single office visit. Baylor is "nonprofit" in the same way the Epstein Class are "taxpayers". (Their CEO made 10 million dollars last year, and nobody on the board was paid less than a million. So...)

Procedure done late February 2024, follow up in Indiana March 2024 with a good podiatrist who said nail will not grow back if medicine leaked into the back bed of the nail, and I went to Dr. Casteel April 11, 2024 I went back to show her how botched the nail was and wanted to find out if my nail was going to grow or not. The doctor patronized me and asked me with negative nonverbal facial, neck and body expressions; "Why did you come here today?" I replied, "I want to find out if my toenail is going to grow back or not?" I did not get an answer because she kept arguing with me that she did not touch the back section of my toenail. But then I asked her, "Then, why when you were doing the procedure in February, and I kept telling you it hurt, you said that you weren't even touching it. The fact was, That the doctor pulled the skin that attaches the nail from the side (which should have been done) AND the skin that attached the nail bed to the back of the toenail bed under the skin (SHOULD NOT have been done---and thats what I said hurt when doc was doing the procedure.) She argued with me then, patronized me, was condescending and very very rude! She argued again today and denied that she ever touched anything in the back. But still could not answer why I had pain in that back section. Ironically, there was a sign in the doctor's office that read: "The success of your procedure relies on who is the DOCTOR." I told her that the success relies on the doctor LISTENING to her patients." Not arguing. STAY AWAY!

I was convinced I had a heel fracture (been there, done that, and the reason I already owned the scooter the boot LoL). I was in so much pain I couldn't put weight on my right foot. Honestly, finding a podiatrist was my last resort, fearing the worst. I found Dr. Khan and Lonestar Podiatry and they got me in same day. After a thorough exam, he diagnosed me with Plantar Fasciitis.. sounded like a Harry Potter spell to me. He gave me a steroid shot in my heel and I got 90% pain relief on the spot! Dr. Khan also gave me easy stretching instructions and a PT prescription to help my heel heal. Six weeks later, I'm nearly back to my normal routine, I feel like this whole thing is manageable. Shoutout to the amazing front desk team, too--friendly, efficient, and total pros when it comes to booking, insurance, and not judging you for limping in like a character from Pirates of the Caribbean.
