Walking up, I see the word Osteria and think, "hmmm, that doesn't seem right," but we just walked in and asked for a table anyway, without looking at the menu outside. Much to our shock, this is a fancy place with no pizza in sight. We were contemplating leaving but we were hungry and decided to just stay.
I'm glad we did. The food here is incredible and the service was actually quite good. Yes, this place is a bit pricier than most and they charge that coperto but it wasn't much and it doesn't bother me to have to pay for cloth napkins and bread.
We didn't get the Florentine steak but my husband got the filet. I also stole his plate. Best darn filet I've every had, in my entire life. I am not joking, that is a serious statement.
