What my muscle mass was. Where my VO2 levels were at, etc...sounded cool, but all rubbish. Then I hired a nutrition coach who was about "intuitive eating." Nice gal, but she wasn't the right fit for me. My intuition kept telling me to eat donuts. By January 2024, I Googled "full time food slapper" and boom the name Lorie Eber popped up. Okay, I'm kidding, but I gotta admit when I first met Lorie I had my doubts that a woman I could crush with one hand was going to set me straight. Turns out she can stand toe to toe with a heavy weight champ. ;) Initially my wife and I had signed up for a 6 month commitment with Lorie. We didn't hesitate to extend our commitment for another 6 months, making it a full year. I'll tell you why. What I appreciated most about Lorie was the time she takes to get to know you. She was able to asses the habits my wife and I had as a couple apart from our own individual habits. She is there to help you pull back your veil and truly face yourself. To ask yourself honest questions. A lot of times we do things without truly thinking about it. Or we associate certain events with our habits. Working closely with Lorie changed my life. What started out as me wanting to lose weight became something more. She got to know me so well that there was no fooling her. You only get that from someone who truly listens and cares. She gives you so many ideas and suggestions, but you have to put in the work. She helps you come up with a game plan that works well for you. If you fall off track she'll be right there to talk you through it. Her approach isn't just about your diet and exercise. It's about getting your mind right. Getting more in-tuned with yourself. There is no one size fits all method here. She truly caters to your individual needs. Some of those needs may be creating a meal plan together. Substituting certain foods. Your portion sizes. What to look out for on menus when dining out. Splitting a dessert. Figuring out if you're a stress eater. Having Plan B meals, meaning healthier microwavable food options and/or meal prepping and freezing meals. The list goes on and on because we are talking about your day to day life. Your individual needs. Lorie has the will and will find a way with you. She will never give up on you and is relentless. The year I worked with Lorie she helped me reach a weight under 200 pounds for the first time in 8 years. For the first time ever exercising became a lifestyle and not a chore. I quit drinking alcohol not because I had a problem, but because it no longer suited my new lifestyle. I have always been crazy about my wife, and doing this together made us grow more into each other. Lorie was there for all of that. Here I am in 2025 and she is very much still here. If you do right by YOU, the time you spend with Lorie will last a lifetime. Or maybe she just scared me enough to set me straight. If I ever have questions or concerns they are addressed immediately and should I have concerns that have to be emailed, I receive a response within 24 hours (most times sooner), BFBBC is always professional in their responses & turn around time.
