Doctor Sul Hong took my case even though I had been turned down by two other Seattle implant specialists. My sinus lining was successfully raised, and it took a lot of bone placement to build up my upper jaw for implants. Dr. Hong carefully monitored my healing (as I have other health issues). I now have implants placed and I am ready for the teeth to be set on the implants. Only local anesthesia was used to not interfere with my healing process and other medications I take. When I returned later because of pain and tenderness from this procedure, I was told a different tooth was abscessed and needed to be extracted immediately! I was shocked, not so much regarding this but because the dentist immediately left and did not discuss alternatives or procedures with me, which I feel is very unprofessional. Also, when he attempted to x-ray tooth in question, he shoved a metal thing that was much too large into my mouth...his assistant had to tell him that it was too large and that he was hurting me. And he did not explain the results of the x-ray to me..it was impossible from the quality of the x-ray to even know what he was talking about. And based on this, I would let him extract my tooth on the spot...I do not think so. His oral hygienist is pleasant & efficient & his staff seems friendly, but based on how he treated me, I will not return.

From my Dentist Laurel Dental Clinic ...... remember this name if you're in Port Angeles and forgo any appointments there. The letter said they were terminating my visitation rights "due to my repeated refusal of recommended treatment" including a referral for a periodontal dentist. Actually, what happened is I didn't take their referral for a periodontal dentist assuming I could make my own decision. Be careful big brother is watching out. I didn't decline essential treatment as it says in the letter. I declined their referral. I've been going to this clinic for nine years. .... Paying cash and have never had a problem. This is the most obscene letter I have ever received, and I am warning those of you in Port Angeles who use the clinic to terminate your visitation. No wonder this clinic keeps changing Dentists. I bet the pay schedule there is nominal because they keep refusing patients. At this point I drop dead before I would return!!!!!!! Laurel Dental Clinic needs new management!!!!!!

It was the first time I've ever had an appointment with her, and I liked her very much. I am a bit of a wuss when it comes to things being shoved in my mouth, but she was very patient and helped me get past it. I highly recommend Laurel Dental clinic.
