I find it hard to believe that anyone would fancy this restaurant. Anyone with some taste, that is.
We were recommended this place as traditional, we walked past it the night before and we got pleasantly surprised by the humble and authentic look of the place. It was empty, which should have been a warning, but we dismissed it, as we just have had a nice dinner recommended by the same person.
Brief: two spaghetti dishes were ordered (8€ each), and three drinks (2 bottles of water and 1 spritz). The food was so basic that we were sure that they had just poured a jar of industrial tomato sauce over some spaghetti, really far from impressive, dull at most.
The service wasn't anything special either. Our bill revealed 30€ total, 3 euros each drink, additional 2€ per "coberto" (a fee for each person for no reason, I have seen this before, but was not expecting it here), made this meal worth wishing we were at McDonalds (and I hate McDonalds, but in this case, it was just food to fill our stomach, so it would have been cheaper and thus better).
I'm sorry, but God knows that I love food and I'm fair and objective with my reviews, but this felt just as a scam. read more
