Over all this was an enjoyable restaurant to try. Tucked away in a small alley it can be difficult to find. The restaurant is fairly small, has about 10 tables, and has a nautical theme. They specialize in seafood but also have meat items on the menu. The server recommended the tagliatelle with seafood, so I went with that. Seafood tasted fresh, and tagliatelle was good. The sauce could have been elevated with the addition of some garlic, lemon juice, or herbs - it was a bit flat to me, and for that reason I didn't give 5 stars. Food was nicely presented. Service was very good (though odd that there are 5 waiters for such a small restaurant). Bread was placed on the table and charged. Prices were fair. I would come back to this place and try something else.

The food was overall average. The restaurant itself is charming and clean. Service was okay.

The seafood was amazing. Tried a platter with a ton of different seafood and Venetian dishes. The seared scallops were the best I've ever had and the roasted vegetables were good too.

This place was a great experience all around. We had the seared scallops, fish risotto, and duck ravioli. All of them were amazing (definitely get the seared scallops, maybe the best scallops I've ever had). The portions were also more generous than a lot of places we have been. The atmosphere was super cute and cozy. Would recommend this place!

Outstanding meal, atmosphere and service! Our waitress was very friendly and the staff was energetic. The menu had a lot of interesting options to try. My girlfriend ordered the ricotta and spinach ravioli with a parmesan foam and I had the duck ravioli with pesto in an amazing reduction. Our aperol spritzes were made well. Would come back just to try some of their other interesting menu options!

Best meal after 5 days in Venice. Make sure to try multiple courses with your group because they do it all very well. Highly suggest catch of the day and waiting for the 15-20 min chocolate desert. Definitely a catch

Grilled fish of the day with vegetables. Today fish was sea bream. Delicious.

Came here with some trepidation because it's right off the main tourist area but what a good find! Highly recommend! We ordered fish of the day and black ravioli with sea bass filling. (See photos). Fish of the day came with veggies and small salad - fish was cooked perfectly and overall very clean eating that was executed to perfection. Great for anyone with dietary restrictions such as SIBO, just ask them to leave the garlic off. The black ravioli was a house specialty; didn't have black ink sauce but instead the ravioli dough had the ink mixed in to create the color and subtle flavor. Perfectly balanced dish with the capers and tomatoes. Everything was super fresh. Great service and staff was very accommodating! Loved it so much we're coming back for dinner!

    Squid pasta

Great food. Great service. Highly recommended. The squid pasta is very unique and taste great. The price is reasonable. We ordered three dishes plus a drink and a dessert, and costs around 65 euros. Will definitely visit again!

Lots and lots of restaurants to choose from in Venice but this unassuming restaurant is a true gem…read more It's easy to miss as it's tucked in a corner right by a bridge. Once inside they have a couple tables with small window views of any gondolas passing by. We started off with a plate of lightly fried sardines topped with pickled white onions. The fry on the fish was super light and those vinegar-y onions were the perfect pairing. We cleaned that plate. The lasagna was well balanced with the meat, sauce, cheese. The squid ink pasta was chewy/al dente with a subtle touch of seafood flavors giving the cuttlefish. It was very umami but nothing too overbearing. Delicious! It's a Family business that was been around for many years. Grazie to the friendly staff and chef!

The jovial mood with the waiters with big personalities is gone. The menu you can find online is no longer available so you get a very limited menu to choose from--nearly entirely seafood. So if you have anyone in your party that just wants pasta with a red meat sauce or a non seafood lasagne, not available. We were a party of 8. Two people ordered the scallop appetizers. Pretty presentation on shells. 3 tiny scallops in the shells. More like an amuse bouche. Totally disappointing. The linguine with clams as an entree had clams so small you almost needed a magnifying glass to see them. Couldn't taste the clams and annoying to try to eat something so tiny , and just try to eat the pasta with all those tiny shells. The baby shrimp on polenta was actually good. But again the shrimp were like tiny hatchlings tempura battered. Tasted okay except for those that were soggy from the polenta that was very soupy. I wanted the gnocchi with crab which was on the very limited menu but no longer available. The alternative was gnocchi with a sea bass sauce which I chose but didn't like at all. The gnocchi were good but the sauce wasn't at all for me. We had to continue to ask for side dishes for the bread, butter, olive oil, salt and pepper. We will not return. Poor value for your money. Plus there is a cover charge and service included in your bill which was a surprise. Very sad to see our favorite Venetian restaurant decline so much.
