Visiting Puerto Rico for the very first time with hubby and we tried a restaurant that is from the roots of the talented Bad Bunny inspire Puerto Rican dishes from all variation. And walking into the restaurant you have an open view of the old city where you are able to enjoy some good food and drinks and vibe with the music. The drinks were made with perfection I tried both their mojito and limeade, which were both a good choice for a hot summary day during the winter time. Services was done smoothly and well and the bartender was very attentive to make sure we were good and that we got everything we ordered and very consistent with making sure we stay fulfilled with the service. Food choices they have so many good options I tried there grilled prawn and beef empanadas both were delicious the prawns were done with perfection not chewy at all nicely cooked and well seasoned had that grilled tasted to it. A good choice for my seafood lovers my next choice would be there white fish when we visit again definitely a good choice to go if you travel here for vacation especially if you are cruising

Absolutely amazing!! From the food to the staff to the ambiance, I'm super impressed. They were SLAMMED pack (understandably) but Carly and Alberto didn't miss a beat with serving us and making sure our experience was top tier. It's a very open environment with decent seating options, we chose to sit at the bar and it was spacious (which is always my concern) and comfortable. The drink selection is excellent for a busy spot, the drinks were made fresh and fast and the bartenders knew the answers to every question we asked. We got a variety of food selections and ALL of them were scrumptious, I highly recommend the fish bites for a light but filling tasty meal. I can't sing my praises enough for this place, with this being so busy and popular I thought maybe it would be lacking but it was perfect. Highly recommend baby!!

We were left waiting at the register for a long time even though there was no one in front of us. Even after telling the staff that we were ready to place our order, no one assisted us. Every employee who walked by clearly saw us waiting, yet they acted as if we didn't exist. The staff were extremely rude and showed no courtesy or basic customer service. After waiting for about 20 minutes without anyone taking our order, we decided to leave. Very disappointing experience and unacceptable service.

Amazing service and atmosphere. Most of all, I love my mojitos and we ordered mango & strawberry flavored. Best mojitos ever!

Came specifically for grilled prawns which to our complete disappointment were just deep fried to oblivion. If shrimp jerky is your thing, these are your jam. Maduros were nice.

It was a very laid back spot to enjoy music, food and learn more about the culture and celebrate Benito's roots as well with the various photos around. The gal running it all was so upbeat, kind and made the experience even that much greater!! We WILL be back!

Restaurant close to castle. Very close to museum. It is outdoor courtyard restaurant. Food picture show on the wall. You can select what you want. We got the Churrasco that come with fried plantains. The meat for the Churrasco is delicious. Meat is tender. It has good chargrills flavor. We also got the local anchovies. This dish come with olive oil. It is great appetizer. The olive oil is rich in flavor. Service is a bit slow since they only have one people serve in the front.

The service was very good, the margarita probably one of the best I've had and the food... PHENOMENAL!! We sat and listened to the sights and sounds of old San Juan. Beautiful night to enjoy every delicious bite of amazing food!

Not a tourist trap, just a place to enjoy your drinks and the historic ambience.... ¡Acho Puerto Rico es otra Cosa!

My family and and I, were a weekend (from Florida) in Puerto Rico and went to see the Bad Bunny exhibition they had at Ostra Cosa and asked for piña coladas and very educated and smart the young lady (even there was no power something common in the island!) she improvised serving us, she never said no to us...it started raining and the place was packed and by herself she handled the crowd...the young lady been from USA she spoke/understood very well spanish...2 thumbs up! 100% recommended!

Everything was absolutely delicious! The fish tasted so fresh and the prawns were so tender it tasted like lobster! The service was on point!

Outdoor Puerto Rican specialty restaurant near the Castillo San Felipe del Morro, serving delicious seafood dishes and traditional Puerto Rican favorites. Food: Carne frita (paired with choice of sides: arroz con gandules vs. tostones/platanos, etc.) - 5/5 - love every piece of this traditional PR favorite Tostones arropaos (pulpo picado) - 5/5 - diced octopus covered with burnt cheese on top of plantain chip; deliciously seasoned plus multiple textures so very satisfying! Empanadilla (trozos de langosta) - 5/5 - fried breaded pastry with real lobster chunks; soft and crispy at the same time also veryyyy satisfying! Ambience: Outdoor patio dining in sidewalk and terrace Service: Fast, friendly; but can get busy

I love this place! I love the view and the live music. Last time I came to visit was six months ago and the food has gotten sooo good. The salmon with majado was delish. Chuleta can can and masposteado rice was finger licking good. The octopus mofongo was soft and not dry, nor chewy. Definitely can't complain about the service since they were all very attentive. I wish you success always since I am in love and want to come every time I come home. Gracias!

We entered, every server was busy, we saw one empty high table, settled ourselves and ordered fish tacos, Chicken Empanadillas, and a couple of drinks (Mojito & beer). Fish tacos were really good, the best we had in the old San Juan area. we were there for 50 odd minutes and went to another bar. the ambiance was good but can't say the same about service but as I said above- this is the scene in every other bar in that street. so this is normal there. also, happy hour is from 3 to 8 (like other bars) one thing to keep in mind- whatever the restaurant/bar/pub you visit in this area - your food order gonna take time, as these all are mostly there for drinks, of course, food items are there in the menu, but it's gonna more then usual time, so if you are hungry, try other restaurants. If you've had Paella in Spain, these Paellitas are the mini-version-don't-wanna-share as they are smaller in portion. However, it was well seasoned and the 3 pieces of shrimp on top were fat and plump (just how I like my shrimp!). Sit by the front and you can also people watch to your heart's content. Talk about great food and service!…read more Although there's always a line to get in, it does move pretty quickly. Our server was very friendly and accommodating, especially since we were travelling with our child. The manager was also very accommodating and friendly. The menu is fairly simple. You choose a dish and 2 sides. First night, we ordered the blood sausage for an appetizer. I ordered the fried chicken with rice and beans as an entree. My husband ordered the mero (grouper). Surprisingly, the blood sausage was probably the best one I've tried so far. The chicken was fried perfectly, not greasy at all. The rice and beans perfect compliments to the dish. The grouper stole the show though. It was absolutely delicious, probably one of the best fish I've ever had. A few days after, we decided to have dinner here again after my son wanted to eat there. The waiter from the first night and manager recognized us (from the time before) and thanked us for coming back. This time, I ordered the mero with arroz con habichuelas. The grouper was even better than the 1st time I had ordered it. We also tried the juices (orange, passion fruit, tamarind, and soursop) and all of them were so fresh. We loved this place and wouldn't hesitate to come back again.

The restaurant is medium sized, so for the sake of space they make you wait outside for a table. Our group of 7 was seated pretty easily but it also wasn't too packed when we arrived. Their menu is written on a chalkboard and from my knowledge, they don't provide any physical copies. My table got a variety of things but me in particular, I ordered the Puerto Rican sampler. We split it between 3 people and they said it could feed 4 but hmmm, I'd be skeptical of that. I think no more than 2 comfortably honestly as a meal. The sampler was delicious though and had all the main things I wanted. The corn fritters were a hit and the steak was well cooked and seasoned. While the food was good, the wait was a little long and the service was mid (not bad but not the best we've had). Solid 4 stars

It was still pretty, but I wished they did a bit more for the table back there to match the rest of the gorgeous interior. And as the cashier/register is also there by the back table, we had a lot of waiters moving in and out of our space to complete chores/tasks for other tables, which occasionally took away from the ambiance and immersion of the restaurant as our table felt like a prime hub. Again, this was only an experience for this table in the back, but something to note. Regardless, my group ordered two appetizers, a bottle of wine, and six entrees to get a full spread and taste of this nicer Italian dining. The Italian Sausage and Polenta appetizer was phenomenal - deliciously buttery, smooth, and a springy texture I've never experienced before. The bruschetta platter was good for what it was, but not stand out. I ordered the carbonara, and was disappointed. It was incredibly salty while lacking any other savory, spiced flavor. The noodles were cooked perfectly, but the salty pork and then further salted sauce overpowered anything else. I tried to salvage it with chili flakes and a lot of black pepper, but nothing could give it the rich flavor I was looking forward to or expecting. The ribeye, though, was phenomenal. Excellently executed, rich, juicy, perfect. Worth the money if that's in your budget. The other dishes were all delicious as well, and you can't go wrong with ordering any of them. I wouldn't recommend the carbonara, but I have seen other reviews rating it highly, so maybe I just got a hiccup this time. The waiters were kind and attentive when we asked for them. They seemed quite busy a lot of times, and it took a few rounds of them rush-leaving/coming back after we ask for us to be able to order cocktails or appetizers. It was also a busy night, so completely understandable. But overall, a really nice experience, and a beautiful date spot.
