Like they don't bill your insurance an obscene amount of money already, that they have to charge you $50 for a missed appointment fee! The care sucks too! I sat there one day well over 15 minutes past my appointment and just felt like I was forgotten. They were very nice, but effectively did nothing to help me get better and he was not overseeing what they were doing. When then going to PT in Brooklyn, the therapist informed me that nothing they were doing was aligned with my surgeons recommendations, nor would help me regain full motion of my arm. The facility was also not kept clean. Wipe down of equipment did not happen after each use. Towels and wraps were worn, torn and dingy.

Although I had worked with several physical therapists over the course of four months, my primary physical therapists were Ashley and Michaela. They were both exceptionally attentive to my needs and encouraged me continually. Since going, I've been able to correct my gait (I had been shuffling), I learned how to go up and down stairs without fear, I learned how to get up and down from a chair without assistance, and after less than three months was able to put my socks and sneakers on and tie them without assistance. Additionally, the office staff at Columbia are pleasant to work with and someone always acknowledged my presence upon arrival.
