My sister and I got matching tattoos on our hands and I can understand if it was one or the other that got infected, but it was both of us and him assuming I do not have other hand tattoos was beyond me and his response was very unprofessional. Here was his response Hello this is Matt. First of all in my 27 years of experience I only see this when someone doesn't take care of it and or chemicals you use on a daily especially the hands. I've done plenty of tattoos and I definitely know what I'm doing and never have an issue. I have a good track record you can guarantee that. As far as the fingers we never guarantee those areas and I told you both that. Just because of healing issues just like this. Most shops won't even do them but I do and just let the client be aware. There will be no refund. When they heal up I can definitely redo them if you like of course no charge. Unless you are not washing your hands or using hand sanitizer or shampooing your hair n the shower those all can affect a tattoo healing. Yes u have a lot of tattoos that's great but how many on your fingers n hands? None. read more

Love every tattoo that I've gotten done by Spanish Terror and Matt. They are very detailed and take their time when it comes to their clients. They don't rush just to get the job done. Unfortunately don't care for unprofessionalism and "all about the money" Artist they have there. I thought it was extremely rude that he was going around complaining about how Friday the 13th is a fast, easy, and get out of there type of tattoos it shouldn't be "time consuming." That caused my Artist to feel rushed after taking the time he was doing in the beginning of his working. Also made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Other then that. After searching the area from Morgan Hill to Hollister we chose to get our work done at Only The Honorable. The shops we visited prior were either dirty, overbooked or the artists seemed just plain lazy. I must say, I am extremely happy things went the way they did because we got to meet and work with Ramon, a very nice, personable guy with a lot of talent. He took the time to double and triple check our designs, the placement of them, and was very concerned with getting our input on all facets of the process. Don't go here find another place out of town. I got a small simple tattoo and it's jagged and blown out. very disappointed and the artist didn't even bandage it after even though I was bleeding incredibly. Also we weren't ID 'd which is very unprofessional and sends a bad signal. Hopefully I can get it covered eventually it's just so expensive. read more

I got my nipple piercings here almost 3 months ago and they have not even started to heal. Yes I know how long some piercings can take to heal but I have 14 others and never have had such bad luck and because of that went and got a first and second opinion. They both took a look and immediately said that they were pierced way too far back and will never heal because of it. I was also told that I was pierced using an external thread jewelry which all piercers should apparently know is automatically bad. They don't care enough about their customers to buy adequate jewelry or pierce them correctly. DO NOT GET PIERCINGS HERE read more

The Friday the 13th flash sale was handled so poorly. I decided to give this shop a try and of course only wack ins were welcome we left our names at 8:45pm. It's passed 1am and I still did not get my tattoo, I understand this is a flash sale and they're would be a wait line however I did not know that meant picking favorites, and random walk ins going ahead of people who were waiting for hours on end. I'm still in line waiting for a tattoo with around 9 other people, there was no organization whatsoever. The lady at the front desk admitted to not even referring to the list anymore and simply tattooing people who waited in the waiting room. You can imagine my disappointment as well as frustration when i, who had been waiting for over 4 hours watch as 3 drunk girls walk in and get their tattoos done in under an hour read more

I see Jimmy (primoredemption on insta) for all my tattoos. He's been tattooing me for years. He knows his stuff, he's honest and he always tells me what and where things will look best. I send him my idea and he has it ready to go when I get there. I have never once had an issue with any tattoo from him and he has even "fixed" old tattoos I didn't like from somewhere else. Once he started on my arm he has done everything since which is basically my entire arm, can't wait to see him again in sept. I recommend people go to him all the time. I absolutely love this shop!!! I got all three of my tattoos from this shop. Matt Gomez did both of my arm tattoos, both came out absolutely gorgeous. He created the anchor and roses for the memory of my Godparents. He also did an awesome portrait of Freddy Mercury and song quote on my other arm. Wesso was awesome as well. When my mom booked an appointment for herself and my sister with Wesso, I asked a few questions about his work, and showed him some ideas. Wesso answered honestly as to what sort of tattoos were his specialty. He told me to come with my mom and sister the next day, he may be able to fit me in. Well he was able to. He did wonderful work. I didnt realize the picture I sent him cut off a little bit, and had to adjust to fill in from what was cut off. I felt totally comfortable with both guys. My best friend and I went in to get a matching tattoo when she came to visit from out of state. We called and asked if we could do a walk in. Guy said they were available. We showed up and the were two maybe three guys there guys there. And they were just watching tv. We told him what we wanted. He took a while to draw it up which is totally fine. He said he was gonna set up and took FOREVER to do so. When he started setting up he realized equipment was missing so he had to go look for it. He then realized the boss had locked up all the equipment and the boss wasn't there and he didn't have a key. We had to wait a good half hour for the boss to come in and bring the key. The boss and the worker proceeded to just talk for a while before he kept setting up. When he finally set up he started working on us. Once we were both done we left. When we got home we realized the letters he did looked weird and the "o" looked like an "e" We called into see if he could fix it. He seemed annoyed but said it was "fine" that we came in. When he realized we were both unhappy with the work he told us we had to pay him for materials to fix everything. I get it, it costs money to tattoo, but Every other tattoo I have gotten and everyone else I know has always been guaranteed free touch ups. That was a touch up. He then proceeded to blame us saying "this is why I tell people to really check things out before they leave. Cause it's a hassle to have to set up again and deal with this. I made the "o" like that on purpose. That's what a cursive "o" looks like." The letter on the tattoo looked like an "e". It was in fact not an "o". If the customer is unhappy with the quality of your work you do whatever it takes to fix it He blamed us which I feel is the wrong thing to do. We are the customers. If we are not satisfied he should have made us satisfied with out making us feel like the bad guy or treating us with disrespect. He was unorganized, rude, and I will never be returning or recommending the shop to anyone I know. read more

Went in for a piercing my appointment was scheduled for 3, the lady was 15 minuets late to the appointment. And she pierced my tongue with too short of a barbell.. have to go get it swapped out for the correct starter piercing. The lady was nice, just wasn't very professional. I went with my daughter to get her very 1st tattoo. Had no problems whatsoever even though it was during the Independence Harley Rally Omar was welcoming and made her feel comfortable. Her expectations were clear, he listened and executed what was a great 1st experience. It took just over an hour and I think he did real good doing it with efficiency while making sure she was comfortable. Needless to say, I'm sure she will be back for more tattoos. All the guys were nice and Elisio did awesome work on my piece, i love the extra things he added to the drawling that i hadnt thought of. Sorry if I spelt that wrong. Matt does incredible work! He is currently doing a half leg sleeve that will include my foot. He has amazing skill and knowledge. A few of my tattoos he did free hand, just gave him an idea and he took off with it and makes it better than I had originally envisioned.
