That dark stood there that's my coach. It looks dark because of the lighting, but it's actually a dark blue green in person you can tell

Hi, my name is Allie and I got my right side visible conscious piercing done here when I was with my friend up at Santa Cruz. His name is Cameron. He got his gauges put back in. They are a very friendly shop very welcoming professional and Adam did such a great job my conscious healing nicely, I would highly recommend them. thanks again, Adam

From the minute my brother and I walked in, to the second we left, the experience was phenomenal!! My brother and mom have for several piercings from this place and have also raved about it so I decided to get my nose piercing done! I went ahead and scheduled with an apprentice and she was amazing! The people up front were very welcoming and friendly and Maryanne (I hope I am spelling it correctly) who was the one who did the piercing! They were so sweet and patient and so very kind! This place is amazing, prices, the environment, the staff, everyone. Definitely recommend!!

We've been loving this place! I got my industrial and helix pierced by Adam, and today I did a jewelry change with Dan. We were intending to do a tongue piercing since I wanted to have it again after removing it more than 2 years ago. Dan thoroughly checked my tongue and the hole was surprisingly still there! They appropriately adjusted the charge to jewelry change instead of charging me for the piercing :) I felt like everything was explained very well and that even though I've had my tongue pierced before I shouldn't feel awkward asking any questions I had more piercings planned, but they have a limit for safety reasons. I really like the jewelry they have available all of the ones we've gotten so far look so cool and prices were very affordable. I'll post a picture of my tongue one today.

Awesome crew! Friendly, helpful and professional! I will be back. The art is amazing!

My second piercing after a few minutes . My stud in front was from 2018 and is rose gold and Diamond.

I've gone here twice, once in 2018 to have the stretch my nose piercing open again when it closed after losing my jewelry. The second time was this week to get a second nose piercing. Making an appointment online was easy, they do ask you to prepay for the service which I was fine with. They are super clean, describe the whole process and take their time making you comfortable and picking out your jewelry. They didn't have any Diamond settings this time so I opted for a rose gold cubic zirconia stud , but you can order custom jewelry through their vendors at good prices so I am looking forward to that! Dan was patient, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable- making sure I was happy with placement and comfortable. This is my go to place- they are not the cheapest but that is not something I look for in blood related services ! Highly recommend them.

Are you currently doing septum piercings, and if not then when do you plan to?

I had mine done there in the last 6 weeks. They were awesome and paid close attention to covid safety and protocols. Email them or call to schedule an appt - they have weird hours and don’t usually do walk ins. They are awesome - I was really happy…

Can we bring our own jewelry?

Hi there, thanks for reaching out! We are able to reuse previously purchased jewelry from Amory, or one of our many designated manufacturers. Please feel free to contact the studio to discuss our reprocessing policy before booking!

Hi! Are there any women piercers? Thank you!

Hi there, thanks so much for your question! We do not at this time.

Does my 8 year old need a covid test for ear piercing?

Hi, thanks so much for considering us! We would not need proof of vaccination for children's earlobe piercings. We offer earlobe piercings on minors as young as 10 years of age, but it is definitely a case-by-case basis. For more information, please…

Do they not do nose piercings anymore? I don't see it on their website to book.

Any "under the mask" piercings will only be performed on fully vaccinated individuals. They will ask to see your vaccination card, but they will not photo copy it in any way. Call for an appointment.

Hi! My tragus earring fell out, do you have body jewelry available to purchase at your shop and would someone be able help me put it back in my ear? It's so hard to do it myself?

They absolutely do and can definitely insert it for you!

How much would it cost for a tragus piercing?

$40 dollars or so, plus however much you spend on jewelry!

Do you do standard ear piercing for a ten year old? I would feel much more comfortable having you do it (based on your reviews) than some chain costume jewelry store.

Yes! Adults just need to be present, and have a copy if their child's birth certificate.

Do you guys know when under the mask piercings will be allowed again?

They allow now, if you have proof of vaccination.

    How much for daith pericing?

Thank you for expressing interest in our studio! Our piercing services are $40 per piercing, and the remaining cost is entirely dependent on the jewelry that's selected. A simple implant grade steel or titanium ring ranges between $18-40, and the…

Prior to getting engaged, we had been looking at rings here and there, found a couple I really…read moreliked online, but hadn't settled yet on anything. I knew I wanted something unique and asymmetrical, and I was really drawn to teal sapphires in particular. When my fiancee popped the question, we were with my family for our annual vacation together in Santa Cruz. The following day we decided to hop downtown and see if we could find a placeholder ring for me to wear until we found "the one". My cousin recommended checking out Stephan's and we're so glad we did. We first met with Leslie, as Greg was helping another appointment. She took the time to listen to our story and really gauge what styles I would be interested in. She let me explore anything that caught my eye and also brought out a ton of vintage rings for me to choose from. Upon further discussion with Leslie, we decided it might be best to put what we would spend on a placeholder on the actual engagement ring. Since I was really interested in finding something atypical, and was curious about what I had found so far, she suggested I chat with Greg. I showed Greg the rings I was really drawn to that I had found online and he offered his expert opinion on what would be important to consider if I decided to purchase one of those options. I greatly appreciated his authenticity and honesty when it came to offering advice on items outside of his own stock. I could tell immediately that his advice was genuine and rooted in my best interest. Both of these rings featured teal sapphires and he even offered to let me look at a stone he had in stock to see it in person, just so I would know what to expect IRL. He told me to take the sapphire outside and look at it in several places to see how the light would look in varied spaces. It was absolutely gorgeous and I knew that this was definitely the stone I wanted to have in my engagement ring. Upon entering the store again, Greg, my fiancee and I just kept chatting, enjoying easy banter and hearing about his own story as a jeweler. I was so grateful to have the gift of Greg's expertise and was thinking we would be leaving the store empty handed, but empowered with more knowledge about how to make the best choice for my ring. Next thing I knew, Leslie said she was opening new stock for the store and she came across a ring she thought I might like. It was very unique; a diamond cluster arrangement from the Parade line. I tried it on and once again Greg recommended taking it outside and looking at it through several different light sources. It was gorgeous! Delicate, unique and distinctive - just what I wanted... but my heart was still set on a teal sapphire as well. I came back in and asked if we could place that stone into this band somehow. I could tell this got Greg excited too. He started examining the band and mentioned that he has a great relationship with the Parade brand and that he would be able to make a custom band with them to implement this stone. My response was - I LOVE IT - I WANT IT! Greg then let us know what the timeline would be like moving forward, what to expect and that he would be here to help us every step of the way, which he was. Living over 300 miles away in Long Beach, we felt secure in the fact that Greg was going to be a wonderful partner to make this vision become a reality. I had lots of questions along the way and was even unsure when the ring was ready whether it came out the way I wanted it to (pictures don't compare to having the ring in person though!). Greg was kind, compassionate, supportive and dedicated to making sure I had the ring I loved. We drove up to see it in person and after examining and acquainting myself with his creation, I absolutely fell in love. Thank you so much Greg and Leslie for all of your exceptional care and expertise - and for making a place like Santa Cruz even more special to me and my family with the gift of this gorgeous ring.

As she let me touch the ring she grabbed it from my hand and took it right back as if I was going to take the ring and run away with it or something which Honestly as a jewelry business you should have better customer service but now I can clearly see why your business is not doing so well and is going Out of Business. They claim to have a 70% off but they seem to have marked up the jewelry so high once you add the discount it's still as if your paying regular price for it. I had the money to buy as it was my birthday but thanks to them I rather go to a big store like Macys instead of giving a small business my money when their being quite rude, disrespectful and racist to top it off!!

Well, visiting one of my favorite stores down the street I thought I would browse some of the silver. I immediately found two pieces. I was interested in and immediately had a lovely young gentleman blonde with a little mustache come and open one of the wall cabinets and then one of the glass tables. Easy Peezy I was enjoying my experience. I said I will definitely take that piece. I said I'm not quite done shopping yet and started to look around about five minutes later, I was done, but the gentleman who had been helping me was helping someone with a watch so I was waiting until he was done. while waiting for the guy to be done with the lady with the watch I noticed a ring that matched the pendant, you see in the pictures and realize it also matched a pair of earrings. I had there were two very similar rings, both size 10, but in different display holders, but the same cabinet. I went up to the register because the gentleman who helped me originally was still busy and asked to see two rings from two different display trays. He pulled the first set of rings out and said he could only take one tray out at a time which was not a problem. I was surprised when he wanted to go all the way back to the front of the store instead of on the jewelry table right there where the rings are and I said could we please just take the one ring out of one of the displays and that ring so that I could look at both of them I'm only interested in those two rings that's when I met Jennifer Jennifer was on her way to lunch and I really wish now that she had gone on her merry way because she inserted herself in ways that mean I will never walk into the store again. Literally I was not going to be able to compare the two ring. I could look at one ring at a time at the front of the store but separately So I went ahead and said never mind. I will just purchase what I've already decided on and walked back to the original gentleman. He was super nice at this point Jennifer came walking from another part of the store because the gentleman helping said I don't mind showing you the rings ma'am that's when she lost it. She told me that maybe I didn't need to buy something from the store today. The gentleman pursued and continued to help me. I said let's not even bother looking at the rings. Let's just purchase the pendant instead of leaving for her lunch hour. She continued to harass me and follow me to the register. At which point I asked for her name, she gleefully thrust her card at me and said that she was the assistant manager and I said I didn't care if she owned the store the way that she treats customers is not OK. I went ahead and purchased the $78 pendant because it's so well matches a pair of earrings. I already have. It's too bad. I don't have the ring also to match it, but I am never stepping foot in the store again. I would also like to mention Jennifer the assistant manager for a third time said to me maybe I didn't wanna shop at the store she didn't ask me to leave but the threat was clear three different times she says maybe you shouldn't shop here. To be fair I understand being short staffed to be fair. I understand only wanting to take out one display at a time, but not allowing a customer to compare two rings to decide which one they are going to buy is absolutely ridiculous. Super clear that I was only interested in the two size 10 turquoise rings. Unfortunately, they were in separate cases in the same locked cabinet. I'd also like to point out. These were not expensive rain. It's not like we were talking about diamonds and sapphires here we're talking about rings under $200. I'm really hoping Jennifer finds lunch because she's not really very pleasant when she's hungry. A huge shout out to the gentleman who helped me because on three occasions, he literally paused, helping me because Jennifer was telling him maybe I shouldn't be purchasing. I have never in my life had an experience like this.

I originally came in hoping to redesign the set (as it was damaged), but after exploring several options, I realized a full redesign wasn't financially realistic for me at this time. Rather than pushing me toward something outside my budget, Thomas worked with me to find a solution that honored both the sentimental value of my original ring and what I could realistically afford. He repaired my original setting, replaced my stone with a beautiful lab-grown opal, and helped me creatively use inherited family jewelry toward the project. The end result feels deeply personal and absolutely beautiful -- I now have my wedding set back in a way that feels meaningful, unique, and affordable. What really stood out to me was how much personal attention Thomas gave throughout the process. He took time to walk through options, answer questions, and genuinely get to know me and what I was looking for. He's warm, funny, easy to talk to, and the experience felt very much like working with an old-school local family business that truly values relationships with their customers. If you're looking for a jeweler who will take the time to work with you, think creatively, and help you find something that fits both your vision and your budget, I'd absolutely recommend stopping in to Scotts Valley Jewelers!

When the big day is over and the cake is eaten and the flowers die there are few precious items that can take you back to your special moment. And with my occupation as a bridal consultant I see amazing rings EVERYDAY of my life. So when I get compliments on my ring it makes me feel so special! When my now husband on the hunt for the perfect engagement ring he knew it had to be a antique piece. I am a lover of vintage clothing as well as antique furniture. So there was no question in my mind that the engagement ring that I would wear for a lifetime would be a antique piece. I gave my husband an idea as to time frame I wanted for the ring. If you are buying a vintage or antique engagement ring it is important to know the era in which you want to focus on. Since with each era there are different little details as well as the stone cuts are different from stone cuts of modern rings. I love the Victorian and Edwardian eras but not not anything 'newer' than the Art Deco Era. My husband went to many stores including Lang Antiques, Dianne's Old And New Estates and a host of others just to name a few. But nothing seemed quite right. He knew that I wanted my dream ring to have a hearts and flower motif on the filigree metal work on the ring. (I know I am that detailed!) But Judy kept my husbands information since he did not find 'The Ring' on his initial visit. Judy went on a buying trip to the East Coast and when she returned she called my husband to say that she may have my ring. My husband went to look at it and it was quite simply the one. Since our magical day ten years ago this ring that has lived a past life continues to see a life with me. And it makes me feel special and beautiful and special every time I put it on. I have taken it recently to Judi Wyant Antiques to have the diamond tightened and reappraised and much to our amazement and delight it appraised for more than what we paid for it. And it was a significant price increase as well. I have noticed that buying a antique or vintage engagement ring has been in vouge lately. I feel that if you are looking for the perfect antique or vintage engagement ring please start your search at Judi Wyant Antiques. Her staff is excellent as well as knowledgeable in the various eras as well as the diamond cuts of the eras. You will not be disappointed to visit such a elegant and well curated store. I have sent many brides to Judi Wyant Antiques who have admired my ring and they too have been nothing but delighted and have come away well informed. Thank you Judi and staff for taking the time to not only educate my husband on the world of antique or vintage wedding rings but finding my dream ring. I cannot thank you enough for helping us find a ring that was just so perfect. It has carried me through ten years and will go on through our lifetime together. Thank you for your passion for what you do as well as your excellent customer service. Jane who also works with you has always been gracious and courteous every time we have ventured into your store! Thank you again!
