Lobster roll comes with chips and pickles. I added cole slaw.

Lobster roll was fantastic. One of the best I've had in the area and cheaper than what you'd typically find in Bar Harbor. Service was fast. I recommend stopping by if you're around the area.

Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious.

Absolutely loved it here, extremely kind service and delicious food. So much more affordable for my family of 5 to have some good fresh lobster than going downtown. The atmosphere is relaxing, clean, and homey. Highly recommend making a stop.

MUST STOP for a blast from the past. This market is a GEM of a find! If you want friendly town service that makes you feel like you are in a 1950's movie, make this a stop! Super friendly staff. Wonderful cold lobster roll. We had this while sitting outside in their rocking chairs with a bottle of cold Maine Beer. It was a light fresh basil mayo. Very large roll, I might add, longer and much more stuffed than most places, it came with chips about $18. If you don't like basil, you won't like it. I like old traditional, nothing changing the flavor of my lobster, chive or dill would be better but I still enjoyed it a lot and it was different from all the other lobster rolls we have had so that was a bonus. The best HIDDEN secret is the fresh steamed lobsters. We did not buy the dinner, which is very reasonably priced, I might add. We chose to buy the fresh steamed lobster with no sides. It was $12.99 approx per pound. We picked our own live lobsters and the guy behind the counter steamed them and plated ours to go for us. When we got home, we were surprised to find a bib, utensils, melted butter, wipes, a pick to work the meat AND they had scored the claws and the tail. All the hard work was done for us, now we just had to get messy and eat! All in a handy aluminum box, and which served as a garbage container when we were done to contain the mess! PERFECT for a to-go picnic to somewhere with a gorgeous view OR to take home for dinner after a long day touristing the area. Great little stop for a cold drink and a snack, get a fresh steam lobster lunch/dinner or grab a to-go dinner to take and enjoy at home or on a picnic. Little old tiny market sets you back in time. It is the most charming and little town experience. One disclaimer, make sure and slow down and be patient,. the charm of the place, the slowness and old school way of taking care of you is it's charm! Be patient as there were only 2 people working, one the kitchen and one the register. They literally have a lined spiral notebook with their prices in it.... do not be a rushed tourist walking in with a rushed city attitude. You will not appreciate the charm nor the priceless stop on your route. Take it all in and enjoy!!!

Cute local camp store with fresh muffins and cinnamon rolls in the morning. Wish they offered more fresh local veggies.

First off, get all the groceries you think you'll need on the mainland before you take the ferry…read moreover to the island. Second, you know you're going to forget something, so . . . You'll eventually wind up at TIMS. They have all the staples: milk, eggs, cereal, meats, cheeses, eggs, veggies, etc. Be forewarned, 90% of the items don't have prices on them. I guess they want you to have sticker shock when you check out. To be honest, it's more like cardiac arrest depending on how much shopping you need to do. The lady in front of me had a bag of stuff in one hand and a gallon of milk in the other and she walked out $75 lighter than when she entered. Small price to pay I suppose when hunger is your next closest alternative. Overall, if Andy Griffith's Mayberry had a 7-11, TIMS would be the mirror image of it with the added benefit of being able to purchase live seafood. Bonus: They have ice cream. An extra star just for that.

TIMS has got the staples (water, snacks), produce, meat, and amazing seafood - everything you'd…read moreneed from a quick trip to the store. The staff is very friendly and there is a great slow pace and neighborly vibe to the whole place. The lobsters are very good - we went two nights in a row to pick some up during our stay on the island.
