We were beyond thrilled to hire them just from our initial phone convo. They are both so outgoing and so thrilled to be part of your day! We hired Hey Love Studio as a guest photographer at our wedding (we had already hired a wedding photographer). As a guest photographer, Valerie (and a second shooter, since she had to travel for our wedding) was dedicated to capturing guest portraits (couples, families, etc.) and guests mingling. (professional portraits in lieu of crappy photo booth pics with the couple's names and date stamped all over it). She knew the "assignment," let us (the couple) do our thing, and she forking nailed it! We received our gallery about a week and a half later, and it brought us so much joy to look through and see just how beautiful our guests looked! When they say your wedding day flies by, they are not kidding - so we are that much more grateful to have these photos to forever remember how beautiful every single guest looked! Our guests will receive a printed copy (as their "thank you" card) in the mail, along with a QR code to our full gallery so that they can download a digital copy. Bonus: my bridesmaids jumped on this and also hired Valerie to shoot our Rehearsal Dinner as a surprise to us. You have to make a $20 deposit to reserve an appointment. The photographer was very nice and took fantastic photos of my baby even though he was cranky at first. Overall we got 15 good shots. It's amazing what they can do with a green screen and a few props. My favorite picture is the one with Santa. That's right, you don't have to take your kid to the cootie filled mall to sit on a stranger's lap to get a picture with Mr. Claus! They can create a picture with a Santa! And I really appreciated that the Santa was black! I don't know the odds of finding a black mall Santa. I assume they also have all the other race Santas covered too, but I was so over the moon excited and didn't ask. Other pictures included a Christmas tree and milk and cookies. The pictures are crisp and clear. I can't wait to come back for more special occasion photos.

I got engaged right before Covid happened, so I decided to push everything out two years, and I was worried it would be hard to find vendors. They made advanced planning a breeze! I felt like a queen on the day of my wedding; The whole team took care of my party and me the entire time! Justin was so friendly! When we got the photos our heart sank they were not what they were advertising on their website. They agreed to take these photos and did not deliver. There are missing photos such as Bride in her dress. There is not a single picture of the bride by herself with the full dress... We had a group photo taken of everyone at the event and no photo was recovered for that time just a photo 10 seconds after where people are not looking at camera. Group photos had no direction. Editing was sloppy, photos were overexposed and had poor composition (tons of non centered photos and wall with exit sign in background instead of the lovely venue we decorated). Tons of photos of people blinking. The two photos with my family they had were blinking Do not recommend they didn't show empathy after their terrible job and mistakes. We had a not so epic experience.

Second, she handles babies with the utmost care. My baby was a bit fussy and didn't really want to take pictures. Lily automatically took control of soothing and comforting my daughter. I have already sent formal demand letters to her and am on the process of filing complaints with the SAGO, BBB, and FTC. My event was on 6/07/2025 and I hired her for photography and video services. Prior to the event we scheduled a session for her portraits, which she did deliver, but when she overbooked our session and arrived late I should've realized the red flags. On the day of the event, everything went smoothly and I asked when I would be able to receive the photos and video. Per our contract it was stated 12 weeks after the event. It has now been 8 months since our event and she has yet to deliver any the photos or video of my daughters quince. She would rarely answer phone calls or messages until about November. The only reason she picked up was to tell me that her mother was having health problems and that the person who videotaped the event said the video was ready but needed a song for reference. I did emphasize with her and even told her I could contact the videographer myself to take the weight off but she refused. I gave her some time before I reached out again only this time she has completely stopped responding. I have sent her certified letters, text messages and emails with no response. $3200 down the drain when I've been a patient and understanding client WHO JUST WANTS HER PHOTOS AND VIDEO. Please save yourself the money and the headache as this business "professional" is untrustworthy, unreliable, does not abide by her own contract and will leave you hanging in every aspect.
