Cute little place on the Winooski circle. The environment of our house is very cool. My burger was delicious, and I couldn't stop eating the fries. My boyfriend got one of their special mac and cheeses (which is what they are known for) and he thought it was amazing.

Obsessed. What more can I say? There is nothing more enticing than 700 types of mac & cheese on a menu. I was in town visiting a friend and this was at the top of my list to try. We came on a Sunday evening and were seated right away, indoors. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and a surprising number of tables. Our server was fantastic. Drinks were good, chowder was delicious, but the mac and cheese was by far the star of the show. It took approximately 2 full days to decide which one to order, but I eventually chose the Pork Belly Blues Mac, which was *chefs kiss* So much flavor, so unique, creamy and delicious. Absolutely no complaints. Will be back on the next trip!

If you like mac and cheese, you NEED to go here! There are so many different kinds of mac and cheese to choose from. We ultimately chose the Lobster mac and the pulled pork. Both were delicious but the pulled pork mac stole the show. It was fantastic! There was so much flavor and it was the cheesiest mac and cheese I've ever had. We also tried the fried peanut butter and jelly, which came with marshmallow fluff dipping sauce. It was so good and indulgent! Highly recommend this neighborhood pub!

Went here with friends and it was absolutely delicious! I would go for the cheesiest they've got for their mac and cheese. Very extensive mac and cheese collection but they have other options. The service was good and the ambiance was small but great! Very homey.

It's not an imposing sort of restaurant at all, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say this was the best mac and cheese I've ever had at a restaurant. And the choices! There must have been at least 20 different varieties of mac and cheese on the menu. We started with the house cocktails, which were very reasonably priced, and quite tasty (especially the blueberry bourbon lemonade). LA had the Mediterranean mac and cheese with tomatoes, artichoke hearts, kalamata olives, spinach and goat cheese. RL had the "Philly Cheesesteak" mac and cheese, with shaved steak, caramelized onions, peppers, and cheddar. I had the Pork Belly Blues mac and cheese with pork belly, blueberry hoisin, goat cheese, blueberries, scallions and mango. I wouldn't have imagined blueberries in mac and cheese, but it was really delicious!! I got a little taste of the others, and they were outstanding too! There's some very creative cheese work happening here.

    Cheesesteak Mac and Cheese!

Our service was fantastic! Cecilia was amazing! The food was great the service even better! I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We ordered the rolls, tuna crudo, oysters, tagliatelle (2 orders) and a fish dish. Only the one fish dish was good. Everything else was fresh but not at all to our taste. Because the food was fresh, we rated it a 3 to be fair. Obviously a lot of people like it, so maybe check some of my other local reviews to see if our taste aligns, but I would not go here again. Not to mention that it was very expensive. For the above with a couple drinks was $315 including tip. And the portions are fairly small, so come hungry, leave broke and still hungry.

This was mainly due to the great service and delicious meals ordered by each of us in our family of three. Our table was never left waiting and the food was served hot. Our meal choices were varied, including apps such as steak tartar and cheddar ale soup for one and the meatloaf plate and the turkey burger for the others. Everything was made with original flavor additions such as homemade sauces, fresh breads, and unique use of herbs and spices. Lastly, I was told to mention that the hand cut fries were exceptional. Since we visit Burlington often, we look forward to returning to the Farmhouse to try other dishes on their menu or just ordering the same meals since they were so good. We all agreed that this restaurant has definately moved to the top of the list for our next trip to Vt.

The last time my bf and I went we ordered a special which was Dan Dan noodles with pork, the cheeseburger, and burrata with bruschetta to start. It's easier to get a seat in spring summer or fall when they open up their outdoor seating and so can host more guests. You have to go to put your name on the wait list regardless of the season and even in summertime with more seating it can be a 20-40min wait. They play good funky music which can sometimes be overwhelmingly loud inside (I.e. a jock jam will be playing at club volume level), that's one of my few complaints. You can be at a two person table and only a few feet away from your dinner date but not always hear them. This happens mostly just during the winter. Outdoor seating is nice with outdoor lights and easy to see and hear whomever you're dining with.
