I contacted Lauren Studios and spoke with Alejandra that was so nice to tell us that she will ask her editor, Liz if she can edit those blemished out from his picture. The studio states in its emails that the fee ranges from $15 to $35, but that only covers the photo-taking service--and the service itself was poor. The photographer arrived late and then shifted the blame to UC Berkeley staff for not opening the door on time. The most frustrating part is that I cannot receive a copy of the photos unless I pay an additional exorbitant fee. A reputable business would clearly explain its pricing upfront. This studio, however, avoids providing adequate information to students and charges them in a misleading manner.
