Coffee as it should be. Just try ordering a cortado-- it will come with a glass of sparkling water (as it should). This is a great convenient spot right on Main Street. Their burrito is my most recent love & if you've been active all day walking / running, check out their fridge for a canned LMNT electrolyte beverage. Adorable cozy spot. Open seating concept with both high and low tables--I didn't know how important this was until traveling with children. Coffee is good; specialty coffees below average. Customer service at Waterside location is very poor; staff behavior suggests that they don't want to be there and don't want to provide service. Limited indoor seating; ambiance when seated outside is scenic, and comfortable. In summary, the service is a dealbreaker and won't be going back. read more

This is the perfect little coffee shop in Sarasota. The aesthetic is very 2016 hipster - in a good way. So it doesn't feel outdated by any means. My favorite part of the shop is actually interacting with the baristas. They are so funny and friendly. Fortunately the coffee lives up to the atmosphere and service. The cold brew is awesome. It's definitely a pricey caffeine fix - buuuuuut it's downtown Sarasota so it would be weird if it wasn't. read more

Currently at the opening day of their new storefront location down the street. Amazing artistry in what they do! I was able to order a simple latte without needing a bunch of flavors or "enhancements" while still finding enjoyment in every sip. O&A does not have ANY type of cream. Majority of Americans add cream to their coffee so why is this not an option? They are not a vegan/vegetarian coffee shop so why not offer the most common coffee additive?? So confused. The coffee also took about 10 minutes to prepare which is fine when it's pour-over style. What I did not appreciate was the barista acting like I had an attitude for waiting. I simply walked over to a hightop sat and looked at my phone until the coffee was ready. I only went here because Breaking Wave next door was closed. Will definitely take O&A off my list of coffee shops. read more

Fantastic little coffee shop in Sarasota. Perfectly located between downtown and the waterfront and with outdoor seating available. Nice atmosphere inside and a decent location to meet friends or bring a laptop and get some work done. The coffee was exceptional. What a terrific roadside joint here on Main St. I frequent this establishment weekly, and I must say that it is some of the best coffee I have ever had. A true delicacy. You have to try out their coffee. Everything is recommended. Just a good experience overall. Bottom Line: You have to try their coffee. It has a terrific dept-of-flavor that you just don't get at other shoppes. read more

When I tell you that I have NEVER experienced such disgusting customer service... I work in the coffee industry. I have been for 6 years, & w/ that I've visited MANY shops in my day. And this experience was by far the absolute worst. The second we walked In there, immediate silence and what seemed like avoidance. Snickering between both baristas before even looking my direction. My sisters Matcha took forever for them to make, and my cold brew was average. honestly nothing special. When asked how they make their matcha, I was given the "get out of my face" response. Her exact words were "oh just like regular" LOL okay that doesn't explain anything... they didn't even call out our drinks for us to grab, they didn't say a word to us UNLESS WE asked first. Maybe I just have high expectations since I do manage a coffee shop.. If any of my baristas treated customers this way they would be warned, written up and then fired if the behavior stayed. Lol good luck getting new customers, telling everyone to stay away from this place. 2 baristas (don't know their names) both female working 10:30am June 12th 2021. read more

This is a great location to grab an excellent coffee, snack and conversation! We've already been twice in one week - the first time with the kids where they made iced hot chocolate, not on the menu and very much enjoyed. The second time I came alone and had such a lovely chat with the barrista who made an excellent cappuccino, then sat outside reading a book. The kombucha was delicious and I even snuck in a tasty cookie. I love this place! read more

I am really picky about coffee and this was AMAZING! My daughter ordered an almond milk mocha....I took one drink and had to have my own. And I usually don't even like mochas or almond milk...haha. They make their own syrups and it was perfect! We are staying on Siesta Key but already planning when we can make the drive back downtown so I can have another before we fly home. You won't regret stopping here! :) read more

Expert made coffee, based on season and elevation... I don't know the science behind it... But Justin sure does! Probably one of the best kept secrets in Sarasota Downtown area. Whenever I am in the area, I can't help but gravitate to get a cup. Personally I think Starbucks tastes burn and is overrated, Here is one of the few places where a black cup of coffee actually is enjoyable. I'd recommend this to anyone who enjoys a cup of coffee in the morning, or whenever for that matter. read more

Justin knows his coffee, and he has designed a super cool coffee bar so he can be Out and About with delicious coffee mostly wherever and whenever you need him. We had his coffee at our rehearsal luncheon for our wedding and it was quite a hit. I would definitely recommend this to anyone I knew that was hosting an event and wanted premium coffee (haven't tried the tea, but he makes his own hot chocolate - I have to leave before I think about it too much, it was so good) read more

They charge you twice what they should for a cup of what is usually unpleasant coffee. When you go to a COFFEE shop you shouldn't be thinking "Duncan Donuts and WaWa do better coffee". Well for decafe, Kahwa is a waste of time and money. But so is very coffee shop in Sarasota that doesn't respect decaffeinated coffee drinkers and gouges with these crap pour over beverages. The staff is friendly enough and you can almost always find a seat, be it inside or out. I will still go there once in a while as my friend likes it and deserves to be happy in their coffee choice. I will just continue to drink what they have and deal with it; but it will never be my go to coffee place.
