Came here for the delicious Ube Matcha and the cortado. But tried the everyday burrito and wasn't disappointed either! Very nice place.

Definitely a smaller place, but people seem to take their items to go. Lots of plants hanging with a total minimalist vibe which I liked. Service was great and my bowl was pretty good. I'd never had a chia yogurt bowl before so it was nice to have something to compare it to in the future. I got a chai latte to drink with my meal but I personally wasn't a big fan. It felt like more milk and ice than chai, so the blend could use some tweaking. Otherwise, nice spot and I'd visit again.

Stopped in for a quick coffee before the beach. This place did not disappoint. Nice service and fast. Tried Matcha for the first time and got the strawberry flavored absolutely delicious. Friends I was with got a few other copies. All were great and the food was tasty and fresh. Will be back when in the area!

I really enjoyed stopping by this spot. It was such a relaxed vibe. Great music and nice people. I was able to knock my work out and get some sun while I waiting to check in somewhere nearby after I got in from the airport. The chia seed bowl was delicious! Perfect place to knock out some work and get a quick bite.

We went to their 5th St. location on the morning of New Years Eve and there was a line out of the door. Upon receiving my matcha and my breakfast sandwich, I completely understand the line. Everything was delicious. Our entire group was satisfied with our orders. I ordered a strawberry iced matcha latte and the standby sandwich with the caramelized onions. The matcha was perfect on creaminess and sweetness. It wasn't too sweet and almost reminded me of the nostalgic strawberry nesquik milk. It's served with oat milk and it was tasty. The fluffy eggs with chives on the brioche bun with caramelized onions was the best combination and now it's inspired me to make fluffy eggs with chives on the breakfast sandwiches I make at home. The sauces it came with were also very delicious. Not sure what they were, but I think they both pair perfectly with the sandwich. The ambiance was nice and welcoming with the disco ball and the greenery as well as the indoor and outdoor seating. It was also nice to have two bathrooms rather than one. This was a very cozy and welcoming spot for our morning brunch to prepare for the night ahead!

Really good legit matcha here, the strawberry matcha was very strawberry so if you don't like it that sweet i would recommend the regular matcha. The atmosphere is very cute it would be a great place to study or work if you can find an open table.

The strawberry matcha was really good!!!

Service was friendly, fast and efficient. The space itself was very fun and simple but welcoming. Everyone liked the coffees they tried but I personally felt that the strawberry matcha stole the show for me!!! It was just sweet enough from the strawberry sauce but you could still taste the matcha distinctly. Highly recommend for sure!

Was on vacay and so happy to have found this little gem! I love a good coffee shop and bonus points if they serve food! This place had it all, nice vibes, chill atmosphere, friendly service, merch and coffee beans which I always need. Lots of seating inside with a few outside options as well. Their brunch menu was out of a few items so it was limited but everyone was satisfied with what they ordered. I would definitely return when in the area again.

Really cool coffee shop. vibes were excellent. Beautiful space and plenty of places to sit. Espresso was tasty and strong for $4 (before tip). Came on a Sunday and parking was easy to find in front of the coffee shop. Sunday free parking.

Nehhh! Very limited options. No milk No half and half and coffee was average. I had better coffee at a Harlem Bodega in NYC. Very disappointing $3+ coffee down the drain.

Such a cool coffee shop! I tried the Strawberry Matcha and it had such a great Matcha flavor and the strawberry didn't taste like fake syrup, tasted like real fresh strawberries. Staff was nice and whole atmosphere is a cool place to hangout at. They have food options as well.

Breakfast Burrito (must've been out of the usual chimichurri, they gave me hot sauce). Very filling!

Visited my hometown again and one of my first stops was this cafe. So apparently they had just recently stopped being all vegan. They used to have an amazing vegan egg and cheese on a biscuit. Now the egg and cheese sandwiches are vegetarian and the only savory vegan option is avocado toast. From having several fun savory sandwich options to just an avocado toast is such a bummer. I also wish for a diner mug instead of a latte cup for drip coffee (cools off faster because the larger surface area and no little top of latte foam). But maybe that's just me. Whatever, just bummed on the change.

What stood out most was the service--the manager came by several times, always smiling and genuinely making sure we were enjoying everything. That kind of attention goes a long way. The steak was excellent, and my daughter absolutely loved her chicken. Overall, a fantastic experience. Definitely recommend if you're in Sarasota.

Our server Casey was one of the best in the biz - he made the experience so great! We felt like we were besties with him. We shared the shrimp as an appetizer and ate it alarmingly fast. Then for entrees, my darling got the Chicken Milanese (Casey gave the hot tip to do mashed potatoes as a side and that was a crucial and worthwhile decision) and I got two apps as my entree, the Brussels sprouts and the Tuna tataki. The tuna is something I will be thinking about for years to come. We polished it all off by sharing a deliiiiightful key lime pie, a 10/10 choice. All the employees at Libby's are top tier and so kind, and we couldn't stop talking about our dinner here for the rest of our time in Sarasota. Can't wait to come back :)

The decor is very nice; it is a very cute place. We got the fried banana peppers, which were definitely our favorite part of the whole experience, but they weren't spicy at all like we expected. We both got the breakfast burrito, which was pretty dry and covered in a fake type of cheese that I thought was pretty gross tasting. My mom did not like the hash brown casserole. I thought it was okay, just not very flavorful. My mom got a cold brew coffee, which was actually disgusting, and she loves coffee. She added two full glasses of water to it and it was still overwhelming. I don't like coffee but did try it, and I had to rinse the flavor out of my mouth. We definitely won't be back.

February 16, 2025 - 4 for lunch…read more We are long time members and this is my first time since all the renovations and work. First time to The Green Orchid. Perfect name! We had friends in from snowy cold NY / LI and this was one of the key stops with them during their stay. The place was pretty packed in season. No outdoor spots and we waited a few minutes for an indoor four top. Service was spectacular. The food was very good as we got a bunch of salads and light food entrees. There were a few cocktails as well for the wives. My salad was a lot of romaine but very spartan on edamame, onion, nuts or anything else. The green dressing was good. Clean as a hospital operating room!! Food was fresh and delightful. All the entrees we had were mid $25 range and with a beer at $8 and mixed drinks at $15 we zoomed up to about $42 per person or $174 for 4 people tax and gratuity. It was surely "tourist" and higher priced for a lunch. I picked up the tab for our guests and with the over 65 restaurants I have reviewed on Main Street and in Sarasota....... I am not sure this was so convenient and easy to be worth the cost/value for what you got? We might even walk the waterfront or head down Lemon or Pineapple and hit Main Street as an option next time? More friends in a few days and a few in March. The "boss" and social director will make the call.!!!
