It was about an hour drive from Fort Worth, and it's eight dollars per person to enter the park. Your access gives you the ability to visit all national parks for the period in which you bought your ticket so 24 hours total. There's various trials you can do, we ultimately ended up doing two, and the moderate one is quite difficult due to the terrain. However, the overlook was a straightforward trail with a beautiful view at the end. I would say the times a lot to each trail are accurate, you wanna ensure you get there early because it does get hot in mind you it is Texas in the summertime. We packed lots of snacks, and had our water. We also took some time to dip our feet in and look at the Dino tracks up close. There's so many ways you can spend your day here, however, some quick exercise, and beautiful views definitely doesn't go wrong! You also get the opportunity to learn lots, and we took the time to take all the knowledge we could by reading through the exhibit in the welcome center. (:

They're right next to the laundry that looked to be $3 a load. We had a back in waterfront location and it was great to be able to just hop in the water. There's also a few marinas and a pool on-site. We ran out of drinking water and were a bit bummed there wasn't a water refill station and the office was closed which I believe is where the store is. After my husband and I drove 5 hours to move…read moreto Granbury, arrived at 11:30pm in the rain, NO CLEAR signs(Only very small sign), NO barriers, Low lighting, we couldn't see well and ended up getting our truck/travel trailer sunk in their mud pit pasture area!! Again, no barriers or clear signs that this was UNSAFE AREA to drive on!! Number is unreliable and hard to contact manager. Manager is HORRIBLE!! Only spoke to her once and while she seemed sympathetic at first and offered a towe truck number, (whom never called us back!) Didn't come out to meet us, didn't hear back from her till 12 hours later when I texted her an updated. We suffered through 42hours NO SLEEP, hundreds of dollars$) in gas, $spoiled food , $meds needed to be kept cold and 3 towe companies provided by our insurance couldn't get us out! This woman NEVER came to meet us or help in anyway!!! Ontop of never hearing from her until I reached out, dealing with being stuck there for 12hours, she has THREATENED us with damages!! This place has cost us around $1,200 and she wants us to pay $1,500 for ruts in her muddy pasture and ruts in the gravel!! THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE AND WILL NOT HELP YOU IF YOUR IN NEED!!

I didnt even have a chance to get a word in. The agent is ART and its a call center so Im sure nothing will be done to apologize for the way I was treated.
