That said, they did have our information in a box for after hours check in. The bathrooms were great, spacious, clean and plentiful. The showers have great water pressure and adjustable shower heads. They're right next to the laundry that looked to be $3 a load. We had a back in waterfront location and it was great to be able to just hop in the water. There's also a few marinas and a pool on-site. We ran out of drinking water and were a bit bummed there wasn't a water refill station and the office was closed which I believe is where the store is. It's dog friendly and had a small dog park.

The shop where the laundry room and boat rentals are has a vivacious staff. Theresa makes some delicious burgers and fries and has a great knowledge of the park and sense of humor! Thanks to the band, Toadies, we finally made it to Possum Kingdom State Park and had some great music as our theme, "Possum Kingdom" and "I came from the water"

His prices are affordable and his land is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in spot #1 and the closest trailer to us was probably 100ft away. Beautiful country, great for kids and pets. Full hookups, never had any issues. Even the few spots where the trailers are close, they have way more space then the typical door to door trailer parks. Cant express how happy i was staying there. Kind people, they deserve your business!! I unfortunately didnt take great pictures of the park but i took a bunch of my new puppy! haha

This park has extremely reasonable monthly rates. The sites are huge with plenty of space in between them. The pool and hot tub are fantastic, clean and with such comfortable lounge chairs. The restrooms and laundry facilities are clean and in good working order; the washer & dryers look new. Theres an exercise room, a game room, a fishing hole, and a really nice playground for kids.
