Great stay! We have…read morestayed here a few times and this is my first review. This time, we stayed here 2 weeks. We're up front in pull-through site 44. Yes, the road noise is apparent. We didn't mind it as we stay inside the RV most of the time. The site itself was great. The sites are long, wide, have a grass yard and a concrete pad and patio. Power, water and sewer worked well. We only used their WiFi as backup as we're using a cell-based Internet solution and were connected to AT&T. I have several interactions with the office staff and all were quite favorable. We even asked to use the kitchen in the clubhouse and that was approved both times. Trish, the manager was always very pleasant and accommodating. Some other things we like: - They sell a 10# bag of ice for $2. We use a lot of ice, so that was nice. - They text us when a package arrives for us. - They sell propane onsite. - They have a pool and a hot tub and they just got done refinishing both and got them opened during our stay. - They have laundry rooms at 2 locations within the park. We used the larger one. - They have plans to add more amenities this year. We look forward to the next time we stay at Oak Creek RV Park.

First off the girl at the front gate lied to us. She told us there were a couple areas that it was…read morea little shallow but if we just kept to the outside, we would be fine. A couple areas, my ass! We were running up on a sandbar more than once and one time it was really bad. My friend that was with me, could not stand up in the shallow water, and he just kept falling. We finally got him back in the tube in that area and got to another area where I could see for a long way that it was very shallow and I knew there was going to be issues. We tried and tried to get him to stand up and he just couldn't. This went on for quite a while. I finally went for my phone to call for help and a gentleman came down from the bank and asked if we needed help. He was kind enough to help my friend get to the exit on the river. I have never been so frustrated and so tired in all of my life. On top of trying to help my friend, I was struggling because I have cancer. I will never float down this river again using this company. He supposed 4 1/2 hour float down the river turned into almost 7 hours! Do not use this company.

Lots of young kids and kids will be kids. Mgmt doesn't do anything about it because they are never there. Just a permanent sign on office door that says they are out on the property and to call a number. I never saw or met anyone who manages this place. All interactions are text on phone. 4 stray cats running around, mainly hanging out at the full dumpster. Trash strewn about. The pool was brown. The place looks like it was never finished and never will be. Won't stay here again even at half of the high nightly price.

The place is meticulously maintained, they mow often and keep it spotless! They have great amenities, a laundry room, a beautiful main building with a kitchen, living room with comfortable seating and a tv, mailroom, and bathrooms with showers. They also have a dog park, a fire pit, and a pond. The people are friendly and helpful. Just really a great place!

That said, they did have our information in a box for after hours check in. The bathrooms were great, spacious, clean and plentiful. The showers have great water pressure and adjustable shower heads. They're right next to the laundry that looked to be $3 a load. We had a back in waterfront location and it was great to be able to just hop in the water. There's also a few marinas and a pool on-site. We ran out of drinking water and were a bit bummed there wasn't a water refill station and the office was closed which I believe is where the store is. It's dog friendly and had a small dog park.
