We went for a nice dinner. They were a little busy which is totally understandable!! We love outback so we didn't mind the wait! Once we ordered our steaks, it's up maybe 10 minutes to come out which was really good! I ordered my steak medium well and my husband ordered his medium rare.. the steaks both came out and looked like they barely touched the grill and then was served. They were completely raw. The server kindly took them back, and then ended up bringing them back BURNT! We just took it as a loss but we love outback so do better!! We will obviously be back but it just kind of sucked! My son got the filet mignon with lobster the loaded mashed potatoes and the lobster mac and cheese. I got a side salad with a bunch of stuff in it I don't remember which one it was but it was fabulous. His filet mignon looked fantastic it was cooked perfect he loved the Lobster and the sides. three stars because I couldn't bring myself to pay that much for lunch and my son enjoyed himself more than my wallet wanted him to. Wow. disappointing. Service was ok. food was just ok. I ordered a side salad when it came, it was warm. they must of had it under a heat lamp. I sent it back but still got charged $3.29 for it. Then the worst part. a guy sitting three tables away from us had a 20min phone conversation on speaker as loud as it goes!!! I mentioned it to our waitress... Her response was thats just like my grandma does. but this guy wasn't old. just stupid and inconsiderate. I ask for the manager. Carter came over. We don't generally eat at chain restaurants but Outback recently started delivering. With both my wife and I working and two small kids having some food magically show up at the door is nothing to shake a stick at. I've had a lot of the menu items and they're not inspiring. Not to say anything is particularly bad, but it's just average chain restaurant food. We enjoy their delivery and the food, while average, is filling and somewhat fresh. Over the years and after having lived and served in several states, Outback Steakhouse does a consistent good job of preparing and serving their food. Both my wife and I enjoy their steaks - cooked the way we like them along with a sweet potato or baked (whatever you might prefer), salad, and sometimes a desert, this is an excellent value for your dollars! To my knowledge, we have never eaten a bad meal at Outback Steakhouse. Their service is very good - whenever you want something extra with the meal, they are always helpful to provide. Sixty-something dollars for 14 oz of sirloin and 8 shrimps is an exaggeration, now if the food was any good, but the steak was dry like wood, the shrimp flavorless and the coke flat. I have always wanted to come here, but it just never happened, UNTIL I saw a post on Facebook and saw how they treat their customers. and then I came in, and I'm SO happy I did! I had the the perfectly baked salmon with the rice and steakhouse Mac and cheese. The name says it all, cause, oh. My. GOODNESS! It comes with some kind of sauce, but the salmon was REALLY good without it! The Mac and cheese is delicious, with just a little bit of a kick to it. Our waitress was really nice, and we never had to ask for drink refills. I don't really remember waiters/waitresses names, which is really frustrating when we'd like to request them, but we will have no problem remembering the name of THIS waitress! When you go visit this amazing place, be sure to ask for SYDNEY! Get it? Sydney working in an AUSTRALIAN restaurant ?!?! But seriously, ask for her! She knows her stuff! Best steakhouse I've been to...it has a little bit of everything and they have a lot of options...and it's pretty cheap.

Wow, very unimpressed! I ordered the Victoria's 6oz filet medium, loaded baked potato, salad with ranch and steamed veggies. My husband ordered perfect salmon, steamed veggies, broccoli and 4 coconut shrimp. Shrimp- soggy and sauce was so hot you couldn't eat it. Steak-- dry and cooked at least med. well. Salmon - no flavor, baked potato - raw where butter wouldn't even melt. Salad - lettuce was discolored. Steamed veggies - all broccoli with one carrot and 2 zucchini rounds. Seriously cannot believe we paid 50 dollars for that disgusting meal. We did take out so there wasn't much we could do about it as far as asking for a refund or sending it all back. This was our first time eating there and let's just say we won't be back! read more

It has been years since we ordered food from here or dined inside. Normally, I take bad food and don't make too much of it. Everyone deserves an off day. But, we ordered two side salads a full rack of ribs and carrot cake for my wife and I to share. We ate at 8pm and all was well till just after midnight, from midnight till noon the next day, we threw up and it was a non stop cleaning of our system. So again normally I just suck it up, but when you spend $42 on food for two, and then have to call in sick and loose two days pay, well then I'll say something. I don't know how to tell you how to fix it, but I don't believe I will never eat another meal from Outback in Burleson. On a good note the delivery lady was very nice. read more

oh outback.... as I put our names down for a table I was told that the servers were running late so it would be a while. After we were seated and our drink order was placed it took about 20 minutes to receive a beer. After we told the waitress never mind on the beer, it was delivered- warm. ordered a T-bone and mashed potatoes, after about 45 minutes it was delivered and imagine that... it was COLD. ask for the manager and was promptly greeted by Dustin, the manager. He made things right by warming the food, comping the appetizer and giving an additional $8 discount. this is not the first time that I have had a subpar experience but will probably be the last because I will not return. read more

This is the second Outback restaurant that has disappointed in recent history. Different town; same story of poor service and even worse food. It will be my last visit as this chain has obviously just lost its ability to provide quality food or service. We were seated promptly and drink orders arrived quickly. Food orders were taken in a timely manner. Salads arrived without delay and were fresh and as ordered. Our waitress started out strong refilling drinks and bread. However, our entrees arrived with the wrong steak and side combinations and one of the steaks was very well done (ordered medium). The waitress apologized and took the overlooked steak back but that left one of our party to eat their steak on a bread plate with a missing side. Everyone else had finished the meal by the time the replacement steak was brought out. In the meantime, all drink refills ceased to exist. Our request for to go boxes had to be made twice. Not a great experience for a meal that was mediocre at best and cost about 100 bucks. Never again Outback. I can spend my money somewhere else. read more

Outback used to be my favorite chain steakhouse for the large fresh salad that beat out the others and of course their excellent food and service. That once great salad has been reduced to a small uninspired offering that is no draw. After 2 bad experiences in a row on 2 separate visits my bet is on that this place will have a management change soon or be going away completely. The Hearts of Gold Mahi has been a favorite of ours but on that visit the child's plate size portion was embarrassingly disappointing at $15.99. We visited again last night with a party of 6 and my nephew ordered the Mahi and it was again a tiny offering like on our last disappointing visit. I had the bone-in rib-eye, one of the most expensive offerings. I ordered it rare but it came out medium to medium well. We hadn't eaten all day and were famished. I am not one eager to send food back or complain. I didn't mind the lack of rareness oversight as much as the steak was extremely tough, dry and full of gristle. It was barely edible. My sister had the prime rib which also was full of gristle and tough and most of it went home in a doggie box for the dogs to eat. Our service was not up to par, sluggish while friendly. The mushrooms I ordered came out long after the meal was over and we were having after dinner conversation. This is a huge disappointment for us as Outback has long been a favorite and somehow they have fallen far behind the competition. My recommendation is don't go. It's just not worth it any longer and there are many excellent choices by companies that try. I should have known when there was no wait on a Saturday night there were problems in a restaurant that used to have a long waiting time. read more

Well tonight I found out why their Lamb Chops are 19.99. It's because they are mostly fatty and bad. Their tasted like the meat wasn't seasoned before being cooked. I usually get my lamb chops from Steve Fields in Plano and they are excellent. I might go back again and try their steak. I hope they are not like the lamb. read more

Went here last night for dinner. My wife had a felet minon which was very good. I had the first and last prime rib I'll ever order at this place. It was not seasoned very well and between the stringy meat and the dull knife it was a challenge. The steamed veggies were good and the grilled asparagus was outstanding. Wow! This has been the best experience I've ever had at an Outback before. The Melbourne t-bone is easily the single best item on the menu, easily worth the 29 dollar tag attached to it. The staff is super friendly and any of the waiters/waitresses will be more the hen willing to refill an empty cup on a walk around checking all the tables. The store is clean and the floors are swept. Overall this single visit has renewed my interest and beliefs that outback is the only steakhouse worth the money. read more

After being seated we were greeted by our waitress and she took our drink order and appetizer. She returned with our drinks this is the first and last time she brought anything to our table besides the check. As we sat waiting on our appetizer the waitress decided to have a conversation with the table right behind us for a good 5-10 minutes. Never checked on our appetizer, eventually the appetizer was brought out by another waitress. Once the appetizer was served I was expecting a salad, another 5 minutes or so later the salad was brought to the table by another server. My fiancé sat and watched as our server stayed in the bar for over 20 minutes talking with other guests and messing with her phone. Eventually after 30-40 minutes of waiting our food was brought out again by a completely different waitress. Not one time did the waitress come to check on us, ask about our food, or ask to refill our drinks. Our waitress finally came to pick up our plates and ask if we were ready for the check.
