We are new to the area and a girl at my hair salon recommended Fresco, so we decided to give it a try. We were already impressed by how cute downtown Burleson is, and our experience at Fresco made it even better! I'm hoping I'm remembering our server's name correctly, I believe it was Caroline. We were there around 3:45 PM on 7/17, and she was absolutely wonderful! She was so kind, attentive, and helpful. My husband and I are both pretty picky eaters, and her recommendations were exactly what we were looking for. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Seriously some of the best chicken we've had! It was so juicy, flavorful, and prepared incredibly well. We had such a great experience and will definitely be coming back. UPDATE: 06/11/26 FRESCO, in my opinion is superior over Tex-Mex Cuisine found in (Old Town) Burleson Tx. Jaime and his staff are awesome, they always make sure your happy, well feed, and for us ... the margaritas are made perfect !!! What else could you ask for. * I know, another margarita !! Establishment is well maintained, disability friendly, PLUS some. They want to see customers come back and enjoy their hospitality. My family and I came in as a party of 25 ish people tonight to celebrate my mom's 50'th birthday on the patio. We had a great time!!! Brett was our server, he was awesome and super attentive! I'm sure a lot of us ran him wild tonight, but he did great keeping up with us. We appreciate you all for having us and giving us some good old nostalgic Frescos food. We were in the area on Sunday afternoon and looking for a solid Mexican lunch destination when Fresco's caught our attention (on Yelp of course). Getting into the place proved difficult as parking was tight, packed, and difficult to navigate between the train tracks and roads, but we got that sorted and headed in. Being Sunday, in Texas, meant football and the bar area was packed, but the main restaurant seating area had plenty of open tables. Nearly all of the wait staff looked younger than 18 and I'm certain they outnumbered the guests in the main seating area. We were seated quickly, but then kind of left alone for a few minutes until a young lady approached to take our drink order. She apologized and said our table was handled by another young man, but I guess he was on a break? With so many wait staff circling, it was difficult to keep up, but we got our drink order in and checked out the menu... Well... the prices were... unsettlingly high. I mean, this isn't a high end Tex-Mex restaurant.. it really just has the vibes of a nice sports bar, but their prices didn't reflect that at all. Two brisket tacos for $14... a quesadilla for 12.75?? Now, I'll qualify that the portions for those two items we ordered were large enough for us to make two meals out of them, but that just seems like it could be portioned more appropriately for lunch menus rather than feeling locked in to a massive bill. In the end, we paid over $50 with tip for two tacos, a quesadilla, side of queso, and two domestic beers... IMO, that's FAR too much for a lunch of basic menu items. Oh well.. lesson learned, and I'll be sure to avoid that trip again. read more

YUM!! What a great spot in a very cute little town!! The salsa to start with was smokey and spicy. The enchiladas (that I asked for queso on top instead) WERE AWESOME!! The taquitos were also excellent - had just the perfect crisp outside and a good southwest flavor. Our waitress was super friendly (knew some of her regulars so well) and there were even some local baseball kids outside offering cookies for a bit of a bake sale. Plenty of parking when we got there. We often drive though this neck of the woods, but we will plan to stop here more often now that we know this is here! read more

Service was top notch. Friendly, attentive. Our waitress, Jessica asked if it was our 1st time (it was) and brought out a side of their meats to sample. They were delicious. My friends and I visited Fresco's on Saturday afternoon for food and drinks, but unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. We were seated in the back and waited nearly 20 minutes without a single staff member stopping by--no menus, no water, and no acknowledgment at all. Meanwhile, tables around us were being served promptly, and there appeared to be plenty of staff available. After waiting far too long, we decided to leave, and not one person seemed to notice or care. The complete lack of attention and customer service was unacceptable, and it left a very poor impression. Went for lunch on a Saturday after checking out the great Burleson Farmers Market. It's a busy place but it's big and the workers were doing a great job. We asked our waiter for recommendations since it was our first visit. He brought us out a sample plate with bite sized piece of each of their meats for us to try. The chicken, steak & brisket were all so tender and delicious. It was hard to decide! I got the brisket quesadillas and had some for leftovers. We had the brisket taquitos that were also delicious. The mashed potatoes are pure indulgence- I could eat those as a meal by themselves!! Soooo good! I also enjoyed the chips and salsa. The true agave margarita was fresh and delicious! Me and my wife had the shared fajita plate with rice and beans but nothing really stood out. The salsa was probably the best thing I tasted so far, it had a smoky taste to it and went well with the chips. In fact, I asked for more salsa and literally poured it on everything including the queso. I also had three alcoholic drinks, the paloma, the jalapeno cucumber and the pina colada. The first two were gross, I might as well have drinked straight from the bottle but the pina was super delicious and sweet. Parking was horrible on a saturday, we had to go very far and even parked on some grass three streets down. The best was the atmosphere, everyone here looked like they were having an awesome time. Was equally unimpressed by the beer selections for such a busy restaurant, that tags itself as TexMex. As well found 2 short, black, wirey hairs in my brisket quesadilla. I can't tell you if the were human or animal; hog, horse, cow. As you can imagine this turned me off immediately. The quesadilla was suppose to have poblano cream on it and I didn't see any. A very fun atmosphere with tons of seating. Get ready to wait though if it's busy. Even though there are tons of tables, it gets really crowded. Very little parking. The queso is amazing, the chips are warm and fresh and the staff is so attentive to make sure that you never run low on drinks and chips. The enchiladas are pretty good. The sauce on the cheese enchilada was not really my cup of tea. The crispy taco was amazing- very big and stuffed full!
