My wife and I ordered takeout from this Outback Steakhouse and had a really positive experience. We ordered prime rib with mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, and carrot cake. When I walked in, the hostess (red shirt/blond hair) immediately greeted me and walked me over to the takeout area. The gentleman (open collar black shirt/dark hair) working there already had my order bagged and ready, and he had actually been preparing to bring it out to my car but missed me when I walked in. The prime rib was cooked perfectly, the sides were very good, and the carrot cake was awesome. The food was exactly what I would hope for from a franchise steakhouse: reliable, well-prepared, and enjoyable. What really stood out, though, was the customer service. From the greeting at the door to the takeout experience, everyone was friendly, attentive, and professional. That level of service makes a difference, and I really appreciated it. read more

Very bright (too bright) colors and lights and open restaurant with low dividers, bad atmosphere. Nothing like the Dayton Mall Outback, which is more tastefully divided and lit. Our waitress seemed distracted, asked us multiple times what we ordered. Brought out salads with entrees! A big no-no. I mentioned we were getting dessert because it was my birthday, and they brought out a single scoop of ice cream with a candle. I didn't get to choose a dessert at all. If I had ordered to-go, I would have gotten any dessert for free, not just a single scoop of vanilla ice cream. Luckily I still have the deal in the app. The food was okay, and the waitress, to her credit, provided us with to-go sauces, which was very nice. But we never got any fresh refills. As a final insult, the tablet where you pay now wasn't working, and no one helped us. It took 10 mins of everyone ignoring our attempts to get someone's attention before the tablet finally started working. These tablet things at restaurants have to GO. They suck. read more

Not a good experience. I asked for an 8 Oz steak with only light salt and light pepper - none of their "special hot seasoning." I received a 4 Oz sreak loaded down with the seasoning stuff. The sweet potato was very scrawny, again requested with only butter. It came loaded with cinnamon sugar. It took 45 minutes for the order to be served. Came here with a big group and they took good care of us. Good service, and and all the necessary accommodations when it came to splitting the check up by the various couples and individuals at the table. My bloomin' burger (with the battered and fried onions) was delicious and way too big for my appetite. I always ask for extra bloomin' sauce though, because they tend to go lite on the sauce. I want to start off saying the service was top notch. Our server was attentive and accommodating. We ordered the 15oz ribeye, baked potato, French onion soup and mushroom appetizer. I'd give this Outback a solid 3.5 stars. I had the Outback Burger with fries. My girlfriend had the Grilled Shrimp on the Barbie. We ordered a Blooming Onion for an appetizer. A small loaf of bread was included with the order. The server, Darnell, was very friendly and took our orders promptly. The atmosphere is pretty nice here. It looks like a newer Outback and it has a modern open ceiling type architecture where you can see the pipes. The blooming onion appetizer to me is the highlight of our meals. It was very tasty. My girlfriend said her Grilled Shrimp On the Barbie Entree was good. She had it with mashed potatoes and broccoli. She said it was really good. The Outback Burger I had was okay. The cheese was really good but the burger was kind of underwhelming. It didn't seem very filling. It was cooked well but seemed to be lacking something. I probably would order something different next time. Overall, as I said, I would give this establishment a solid 3.5 stars. Tonight finally tried the Outback Steakhouse at Cornerstone in Centerville. We were greeted & seated right away. Billy our server was great, friendly, answered our questions on the menu. We enjoyed house salads & their croutons were very flavorful & just right for the salad. I enjoyed the Chimichurri steak special-the carrots were amazing on the dish & steak cooked just right medium rare. 'Tis a fine winter day, and following coffee on our deck, we elect to journey to nearby Cornerstone for a ribeye. We tend to vary our Cornerstone visits to Cooper's Hawk, Thai Village, and the newer Outback. Perhaps, the ribeye is not as upscale as a ribeye from Flemings, but it will do. Seems a great decision of Outback to locate in Cornerstone, and the Cornerstone location is somewhat closer to our Cheltenham home than is the Outback at the Mall. Outback is doing a great lunch business. Servers are all bright, cheerful, and a pleasure. Of course, this Outback is as new as it gets, and the large windows add to the ambience. We eschew the prime rib - always seems to be not up to our standards. Ribeye and baked potatoes always is a good choice. We recommend. read more

We went here for lunch. We had excellent service. Today was the day after Valentine's Day and I was given a flower when I came into OutBack. I thought that was so sweet. Our waiter was nice and got our drinks quickly and took our order quickly as well. We got the steak and lobster. It was delicious. The ambience was romantic. My husband and I went to the Outback in Bellbrook this afternoon. The waiter came out and took our drink and appetizer order. He came back with the drinks and appetizer and then proceeded to take my husband's lunch order and walked away when my husband was done ordering and never once acknowledge me once to take my order. He brought his food and drink and never questioned if I wanted anything. The third time he came back to the table with drinks I asked I never got to order he literally signed and rolled his eyes and asked what I wanted, like it was my fault and was put out that I even wanted anything. SIX STAR RESTAURANT! I have been to many amazing restaurants, steakhouses and different Outbacks. You can almost always expect a good meal and friendly staff from any Outback but it was never really a memorable experience for me. However, THIS specific Outback knocks it out of the park every, single, time. My first time going, our waitress was just so welcoming and accommodating. Next time we went, I was hoping to get the same waitress we had previously but she wasn't there so we had a new one. But this new waitress was excellent as well! I've been to this exact Outback maybe 30 times this year. Seems like we almost always have a different waitress. Doesn't matter. They're all the same. All of them are absolutely the best! Go to this restaurant. You will be greeted nicely, be treated so well throughout no matter who you get. Your food will come out nice and soon and absolutely fill you up and man is it always cooked to perfection. It's always such a happy atmosphere for guests and staff. I really think the staff truly enjoys working there and enjoys seeing guests, regulars and new comers alike! I'll continue going to this Outback. It's always a great experience. read more

This is one of the very best managed restaurants I have ever visited. Every employee seemed to know their role and did it effectively and politely. We were greeted with a hostess opening the door for us and welcoming us. The hostess at the check in actually welcomed us and greeted us. Have gone in a few times since it opened in March. The staff has always been friendly and courteous. The hostesses are quick to get you seated, of course on busy nights there might be a wait. The communication between them sounds great and from what I saw they are super friendly. Last time I went in my server Nora was quick and knowledgeable she did gear me to a great drink choice. Dining at Outback tonight was an extremely terrible decision. The only positive was the excellent service provided by our server. The food was overcooked and so heavily spiced that it made me sick and I had to excuse myself from the table to go to the restroom, where I had to throw up. Upon returning to the table, I asked for a glass of milk and I was given milk that was room temperature, almost like the milk had been left sitting out without being refrigerated. I spoke with the manager who, just laughed a little and said "I guess I'll have to go show the cooks how to shake seasoning." The manager removed the charge for my entree from my bill and he seemed flustered and provided two appetizer cards. When I told him about the milk, he admitted that it had been sitting out and said he needed to put that on ice. Given Outback's prices and the fact that I became sick inside their restaurant, they served me milk that was room temperature, my suggestion would be to go to another restaurant that places food quality and safe handling as a premium. I felt the manager just wanted to be dismissive of my experience and just wanted to brush everything off to the side by not taking the issues seriously. I felt that the manager did not go far enough in resolving the issues this evening. The table next to ours had the same issue with over seasoning of their food as well. I would suggest going to Texas Roadhouse or Logan's as a better alternative because this Outback location seems to just laugh off customer issues when they make their customers sick. read more

Their food tastes more like "chain" food but their prices are more like one of the better steak houses by the time you purchase expensive sides. I got the $7 margarita with the extra shot which helped since the margarita had little alcohol or flavor. Blooming onion should have been drained longer, was pretty oily. My salad was fresh and large. Unfortunately the container of dressing, which was filled to the top, only held about 3 tablespoons. No waitress in sight to get more. read more
