I'm very iffy of this place. Instead of being greeted, we got "what do you want?" in an annoyed way. I asked about gluten free options and she told us they didn't have any. I asked again since the menu mentioned it and told her that I have Celiac Disease and she mentioned that they have gluten free soy sauce to use, I said that was fine to use. Saw that they had gluten free soy sauce and they started out separating the rice, the veggies, and the chicken. This is where it got lost for someone with an allergy. I understand cross contamination, but using the same utensils to mix the gluten free food and the food with normal soy and cleaning off the rice with soy sauce over the veggies and gluten free rice is where I have a problem. My husband got lunch for tomorrow and I went a different place I knew was safe. Sad as I wanted hibachi, but no longer can return since it is not a gluten free safe-ish place. If you have a gluten allergy/celiac disease, please be weary of this place. read more

Me and my husband ordered this this evening! It was so good! We ordered online and it was delivered pretty quickly. Our food was still hot when we got it. It was delicious! I had the rice and lobster tail! It was so delicious. Portion size is huge. I had plenty left for another meal! Not sure about ambiance.. since we ordered our food but I definitely would love to go to restaurant next time to eat! If you have never tried this place you should! It's so good! read more

We came to try this place out after waiting for what seemed like forever. This place is smaller, so seating is limited. I imagine it to be packed during lunch hours once into full swing. Overall very clean in appearance. Staff is super friendly and the menu is easy to read. Both my husband and I got chicken and steak combo. Pricing was fair and the portions were reasonable. Flavor is just right (not too salty or too bland). Everything was served in a to go box, which I much prefer if I was on a lunch rush i want to be able to close what i dont finish and go. I usually don't leave reviews, but it needs to be said that the food was horrible. I can't speak for other locations, but the Beavercreek restaurant is a waste of time and money. The steak & chicken were severely dried out. The two sauces were unrecognizable and had a bad taste. The rice wasn't seasoned. I threw it away and will never order food from there again. read more

The food was delicious! My husband and I are food snobs and we weren't sure what to expect. Well this place definitely deserves more than just 5 stars! He had the filet & shrimp and I had the shrimp and scallop and loved it all. After the first bite of the filet my husband couldn't believe how great it was that he had to have another bite. Restaurant is quant, offering a few tables for two. It was clean and well lit. Music was nice and not overbearing. The staff was pleasant and cleanly dressed. I am so sick of these moronic portion cuts/price increases. This is all the scallops i got for their filet mignon and scallop combo. Only an idiot would cut a scallop into pieces, but Daruma is trying to cut costs apprently. So it might be a single whole scallop or it could be two? Not sure. Used to go here often, won't be back. They gave me a bit more steak but it was half the amount they usually give. This place used to have big portions. I still got a lot of rice and onions, but 19.95 for two tiny scallops cooked wrong and 2 ounces of steak is a joke. Hope their attempt to get one over on customers and dice up 2 tiny scallops was worth losing a customer. Won't be back. read more

Trash! This place has HORRIBLE customer service. We use to come here all the time but customer service sucks. We ordered well done steak and it was raw. I called and they told me to bring it all the way back if I want a refund. Told them I can send a picture. Not driving all the way back. He refused. The lady is also ever rude. I tried this place today for the first time. I was absolutely blown away by the food. The flavors were outstanding. I have to say this is truly the best hibachi food I have ever had.....hands down. I have had Daruma Hibachi in Columbus before and liked it. This restaurant is a slimmed down version but the food is cooked to order, fresh, and flavorful. In addition, they give you plenty of food so it fills you up. Good lunch choice if you are looking for something new. read more

I will admit that I didn't read about this restaurant besides being a hibachi to-go type restaurant. The young lady was not to customer friendly because it was our first time there and she looked annoyed that we couldn't figure out what we wanted right away. I just tried this place for the first time and the quality of the food was absolutely amazing. The flavors were just as good as a high quality Japanese Steakhouse. Prices were fair. Customer service was excellent. The only thing I disliked was the online menu/ordering was slightly confusing. There is only an option to order from the *Hibachi Express* menu, but not the regular lunch/dinner menu. I didn't realize there was a difference in the menus until I got home and noticed that there wasn't noodles and a soup/salad with my entree. It is nearly the exact same price to get a little more food, so I didn't quite like that so the online ordering menu could definitely use improvement.
