Food was amazing. They have a sauce for one of the dishes which pairs well with fries. I had the steak. Cooked perfectly and honestly more flavor than Jeff Ruby's. Need to to back

I would eat this all over again tomorrow. Ohmigosh I love empanadas but these Argentinian authentic ones are the best I've ever had. I ordered the pulled chicken and cheese, the 5 cheese and the beef with olives. The empanadas were cooked perfectly, hot, fresh, crispy and not greasy at all. The pulled chicken was moist and flavorful. The 5 cheese was delectable, but my favorite was the beef...perfectly seasoned, with green olives, diced egg, it was stellar. The service was wonderful, the owner came out and gave us a warm welcome. She also recommended a dessert empanada, "Chocotella" with bananas and Nutella inside. We will definitely be returning to this delicious place!

SO GOOD! Steak was cooked perfectly! The food was delicious, honestly no complaints. I loved every moment of it. I will be coming back trying new things! Service was a little slow but only one person working so we get it! However regardless waiter was so sweet and nice and still attentive. The place is a little small, and if it was busy, you would need to make reservations. However, great little intimate small place. We will be coming back, and I already can't wait to tell my friends.

First time having Argentinian food and it definitely impressed! The owners and staff are more than willing to explain everything and give recommendations. The decor is pretty and eclectic, casual enough to stop in but could also show up to celebrate an occasion! The salad was very unique with potato crisps on top. They also have a beet & boiled egg dish that is a traditional side; kinda reminded me of pickled eggs without the spice! The empanada was perfectly crispy and Delicious. The steaks and sausage were all phenomenal and had a ton of flavor.

We had such a great experience at La Embajada! The food was incredible -- fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic Argentinian cuisine. Every dish we tried was delicious and beautifully prepared. What really made the meal special though, was the staff and owner. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, and the owner went completely above and beyond. She personally came over to introduce herself, made sure we were enjoying everything, and even brought out Legos for my child to play with so we could relax and enjoy our meal. That level of kindness and thoughtfulness is rare. La Embajada isn't just a great restaurant -- it's a place that makes you feel genuinely cared for. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend! Beautiful inside as well. I probably should have taken a better picture than the one I'm adding to this review but I was just eating and forgot lol!

This is our second visit to La Embajada. We knew going in to expect a slower pace. We ordered everything at once this evening. The meal was delicious. My favorites are the yuca fries and side salad. There were two sausages and both were flavorful. The steak was cooked well and we both saved that for last. I wanted dessert but it was late. Next time I'll get the chocolate empanada. The decor makes it feel very homey yet elevated. The ladies are both so friendly & welcoming. I think they could use another server, but we really enjoy eating here for a special experience.

Authentic Argentinian food in the area for two years. We are so happy we found this little gem located in a strip mall on the corner. It was around 5 pm when we stopped in and there was one other party there. It did get a little busy while we were eating but the noise level remained low despite the smaller size. The service was outstanding and the prices were reasonable. They serve beer and wine and have an extensive menu as well. We both had empanadas and there are vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. We were served our food by the owner herself who was thoughtful, helpful, and full of energy. It was our anniversary so we had dessert (churro and a chocolate empanada). Dessert was just the right size and superb as well. Highly recommend and tell your friends too! We will return the next time we are in the area!

In town for work and stopped at this hidden Gem . I got a 16 ounce ribeye dry age for 30 days and it was delicious. I will be popping in here every time I'm coming to town.

I have never been to Argentina and now I'm not sure if I have to go. This place is quaint, with a nice dining environment, and delicious food. The empanadas and steak were out of this world. You gotta try the pulled chicken and cheese empanadas.

The feel of this place is fun and the owners are very energetic. They didn't have their soul as it was taken off unless it's winter. I was disappointed by this because I love their corn soup. They now have the empanadas as a single price each instead of the three for one price. They were a bit more greasy than I remember from the last time. That is all we tried this time.

We could not have asked for a nicer dining experience. Another one of the gems found through Yelp! Wonderful food choices (we came for the empanadas, and stayed for the meal!), awesome, friendly service, and a quiet, peaceful environment. Love that we could easily have a conversation. And love that the owner visited with us to make sure that we had a good time. Wonderful story. We will be happy to come back many times!

Hooray, they are no longer "underground" and have a beautiful place! We came here after an afternoon movie at Cinepolis. As a hearing impaired person, I appreciate the investment in sound tiles and beautiful & relaxing piano music (played by owner Monica's husband ) so we could hear our conversation and our terrific server, Diana. Oh, and the foooooood! We split the steak sampler among 4 of us, plus several empanadas and couple other appetizers. Everything was wonderful! The steak was cooked to medium, still very good though next time I'll remember to ask for it more rare. I've been searching for a good chimichuri sauce (granted, not many choices in Dayton) since we moved from TX and found it here! Both Monica and Diana were super friendly and food came out quickly. Homemade ice cream, a banana/Nutella empanada, and churros topped off a great experience. Can't wait to go back!

I've had plantains in the past, but these were certainly the best I've tried. For entrees, we went with arroz con pollo and bandeja paisa which was basically an assortment platter. I was a little disappointed in the arroz con pollo. Rice was over cooked and the flavor was overall muted. For dessert, we tried obleas -- thin waffles filled with jam, caramel and cheese. The waffles weren't true waffles, but more just cracker type. Again, rather disappointing but maybe I just don't have the right taste for it. Every dish I've gotten and every plate I've seen come out of the kitchen is amazing and a wonderful sight. The duck is a personal favorite. It's always perfectly cooked with the right amount of pink and paired with Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. It also makes an amazing leftover since the portions are so big. The steak though is a dining staple. The Delmonico Ribeye shines at both a rare and medium rare cook and is just so flavorful. That's the steak I dream of and can't wait to have again. The servers are attentive, polite, and helpful when you ask for their thoughts on which dish to order. The bar is quick and makes some great drinks (based on friends' input). Salar isn't so upscale that you can only go for special occasions. It makes for a good mid-week dinner, meetup with friends and coworkers, but it can also be a treat yourself meal.

The service was fast, the staff was pleasant, there was tons of space for my antsy toddler to run a circle around our table and not bother anyone. The food was prepared well but all of it wasn't seasoned well. Here's what we ate: --Bistek de pollo a la pobre (thin pan fried chicken breast topped with a fried egg, served with rice, fries, and plantains). This chicken was perfection. So flavorful. I could've done without the egg but I also asked for it to be fried hard to do away with any funniness. I bet it's extra tasty that way for ppl who like that type of thing. --Mojarra Dorado (a fried whole tilapia). We took most of this home, and I seasoned it up and added a sauce...much better and a quick meal! --kids chicken nuggets. I didn't try it, and honestly my little ppl were already full because of what I'm about to share next. Unsure if the toddler would like it, we fed the 3yo Wendy's chicken nuggets (it's in the same parking lot) before going in. While we were eating another couple came in with their little one in tow and a chick-fil-a bag...so maybe it's a thing to feed your children what they want so you can enjoy your experience in peace ‍ Either way, the staff seemed fine with them bringing food in. Lastly, about the staff being great: my 1yo upchucked before the food came, on herself and the highchair. They brought me paper towels to clean her up and then took away the dirty chair to clean and brought us a new one. I was all ready to clean that chair myself but they wouldn't let me.
