Very enjoyable lunch! My two buddies and I dropped in Monday to find an almost empty and super quiet down under, ideal compared to the typical weekend mess and wait. The menu is tidy without the Indiana quarantine free extras but the options were fine especially seeing crab cakes and peppercorn short ribs. I missed the ahi appetizer my Indiana spot offers but we did okay indulging with a Bloomin Onion! Still surprises me to see a deep fried bulb loaded with more calories than anything else on the menu! It was made perfectly and us three destroyed it alone with complimentary bread and butter. The two others went for filet mignon and ribeye while I had to try the peppercorn ribs. The staff was very friendly the whole time and on point for filling waters and another two coming by to make sure things were tops - again people, do more dining out during the week! Wonderful to have the whole place to yourself, enjoy conversation without noises, and see the waiters in peak stress-free form. Our food also played gold to weekday dining arriving in photogenic form. We pigged out and couldn't find even one small issue. My short ribs were phenomenal! Wow!! I've had the same dish at Outback's big posh daddy, Fleming's Prime Steakhouse where it cost double. I have to say I cannot see a reason to pay double for what I had. Rich and indulgent meat, made exactly right and combined with the gravy: proper addition to Outback's menu and they better be putting it in every restaurant. I say the braised ribs and ahi Tuna are now my favorite two items here! If I have to complain, I'll say the sodium content in the sauces and many dishes is awful. Diets high in salt (frequent dining out) are a quick way to heart issues. Hope Outback fixes that up. They have brought in great ideas for their menu, smartly moving through the last crazy year keeping their take-out options easy to access, and everyone please come check them out during the week for the most easy going Aussie time! read more

We had 5 people in our party for Father's Day and our waitress was very kind and seating was fast. My mother ordered the prime rib but they were out of it so she ordered a filet. When our food came, one order was incorrect and two of our steaks were overcooked. Our waitress promptly re-ordered the food that needed to be redone, which we appreciated. When our new food arrived, it was cooked correctly but all of the steaks were still very tough and didn't have any flavor! It was as if we received the worst cuts of meat they had. We could hardly eat our food. I wrote to Outback Steakhouse about our experience and finally received an email back from management offering us a $30 voucher for our next visit. While I appreciate that he got back to me, $30 hardly seems fair recompense for a $160 meal that we hardly enjoyed. Disappointed!! read more

First timers at Outback and were impressed from the time we hit the door. Door was held open for us by staff member and we were welcomed. Our server was Josh and he was excellent. He knew the menu well and explained our options along with what the appearance of my steak would be. Each person that came to our table with everything from dessert to drinks was pleasant and personable, making us feel comfortable. The manager stopped by a couple of times and chatted with us and we explained our appreciation for the service and the food we received. Our meal was served quickly and each item was prepared to our expectation. When I ordered I simply pointed at a picture and the food was as enticing as the picture had shown. Outback removed the New York strip from their menu, when it is what we would always get. We have been loyal customers and came at least twice a month. Their service was always amazing, especially the manager. Any time we had an issue, Travis has always accommodated us amazingly. The family friendly environment, lighting, and sports on the tv always makes it a great experience, but our reason for being here is gone, which is very disappointing, and I hope Outback fixes this. read more

The center cut sirloin is a nice cut of steak, and it was cooked accurately, pink and even for medium rare, but it was a bit tough, with gristle in the middle. On one hand, I'm happy it was cooked right, but on the other, I thought it could be better. The cocktails are all too fruity. Why not have one cocktail for men who like steaks? read more

It was a birthday occasion and we were bummed not to sit in our favorite spot, but apparently there was a reason. We had Gabriel, like the angel, and he was a hoot and a server extraordinaire. After calling several times to get a message that they were closed when all indications on the web were the opposite, we decided to drive by and see for ourselves. They were in fact open, so my husband went in to make a reservation. He let the woman know we had tried to call and the message said they were closed. She didn't apologize or acknowledge the issue. When my husband asked about making a reservation, she took his name and time and we thought we were good to go for dinner. (My 92 year old mother-in-law chose this place for dinner). When we arrived for our reserved time, we were not greeted and we were told that it's not exactly a reservation just a call ahead list so we still had to wait to be seated just not as long as some of the others. That's fine, but should have been explained earlier. This was the same woman who my husband talked to so he told her that she didn't tell him that when he made the reservation. Again, there was no acknowledgement from her. We got seated and had a wonderful server who was friendly and attentive. My mother-in-law and I ordered margaritas, my husband a glass of wine and a Bloomin' Onion. The margaritas were tasty and not too sweet or too limey. The onion was over cooked a so greasy I didn't eat much. I don't eat here often but when I have been before, the onion has been light and tasty. So I don't think this is typical. While the steaks my family ordered were cooked as ordered some of them had so much seasoning on them that you couldn't taste the steak. One of the steaks ordered was not overly seasoned and was quite delicious. My daughter and I shared the Alice Springs Chicken which was cheesy and hot. We ordered baked potatoes as our side and then were told they were out a while later so we made different choices but when our food came, we all had baked potatoes. Yay! We frequent Outback and we used to come to this one regularly before we relocated and it was always good. I must say I'm HIGHLY disappointed. The food had zero flavor and it seemed boiled not grilled. We get the same dish every time and this was not it . I feel like we wasted our gift card, our money and our time. The atmosphere was off, the air conditioning sounded like an ascending and descending plane and they nickled and dimed us which has never happened to us before. Haven't been in this restaurant in 20 years, nothing changed except the prices. I knew things were not going to go well when we told the hostess table for 9 and she immediately had to go notify the manager. There was 90 of us, only 9. The restaurant decor hasn't changed since we were here two decades ago. The hostess informed us there would be a gratuity so no incentive for the server to do a good job. In fairness she may have been new because it seemed like it took an inordinate amount of time to get our drinks and bread. Everyone commented their meals were good but over seasoned. Perhaps that's the Aussie way. It may be another two decades before we go back. You can get very good prime rib, pork sirloin steak, wings, Ahi-tuna and mixed cocktails here. Haven't had a problem w/ service actually it's pretty good. Their grilled chicken and pasta dishes are good too. I don't find their shrimp to be exceptional. They have a tendency as most restaurants to over cook the salmon. However, the steaks were mediocre at best and dessert was probably its only saving grace. At least, the Chocolate Thunder from Down Under was welll worth it. Service started out slow. We waited for about 10 minutes on someone to come over after being seated. Finally a server came and apologized for our wait. Took our drinks and got the actual server in our sections attention. The manager apologized and took care of our appetizer. Very professional. I love Outback when their game is on point. This Outback had mixed reviews here but after my visit here I would say it's a go here. Happy with my food. The prime rib was on point cooked to perfection and tender. First time ordering for delivery. Placed order for delivery early afternoon for 6:00 delivery. No text, call or sign of anyone by 6:30. Called restaurant and was told "on the way, lots of deliveries ". No apologies for not delivering on time. Told it would be here in 10-15 minutes; restaurant is less than 10 minutes from home. Food not here 20 minutes later. This is one of our favorite places but will not place a to go/delivery order here again. Food arrived very cold. I had questions about certain ingredients that she was helpful in answering. The manager, Matt, even delivered one plate to us and was very personable. I had a pharmaceutical dinner at this Outback Steakhouse location. The group was large and we had some issues, but the manager made up for it. I deal with the manager of this location reguarly and he has upper management skills written all over him. If it wasn't for him. This location would have gotten 3 stars in my books. The food is great, the servers are nice, and the prices are amazing. What else do you want at a restaurant? If you are going to come here and compare higher end steakhouses to Outback.
