I love outback. But this trip was horrible. After walking in we got a table instantly. There was no wait or rush. We were sat got our drink order and ordered our food. I got a steak and my boyfriend got the Chicken and Shrimp pasta along with a Cheese Fries appetizer. After 15 minutes I was brought my salad. The waitress asked about the appetizer and proceeded to the back. Where she argued with the Back of the House to the point I could hear. Another 15 minutes and we receive this enormous pile of cheese fries. After another 25 minutes of waiting we received our food. The worst presentation I have ever seen. I had a medium well steak and loaded potato. My potato was plain with nothing on it (nor on side) my steak was pretty much under juices. The potato just soaking in it as well. It's like I got the resting plate for the steaks. My boyfriend had a whole chicken breast on top of his Alfredo. No one took an opportunity to even attempt to try on our dishes. Nor did we ever see management. Which I'm sure was sitting at the table directly behind us on her laptop. She never so much as flinched to help. Worst meal ever. I haven't been to an Outback Steakhouse in a while so I'm not sure if they were trying something different at this location or across the entire chain. The servers wore black shirts with jackets and the décor was a little fancier than I remember. They also seemed to revamp the menu. The changes were mostly in the appearance of the menu itself but the custom steak options were different. I tried the wood fire over the traditional spice for the steak but didn't taste a difference. The ribeye came out in a perfectly rectangular shape which was disturbing. It wasn't marbled as much as dotted with hard spots of fat. The waitress was nice but overwhelmed even though the place wasn't crowded. Our soups came out well after the main meal which was disappointing. Supposedly the place is usual crowded, especially on the weekend. I wouldn't recommend going back unless you are into Outback's menu. read more

This is the most horrible outback I ever ate at!!! No one was at door to seat or greet us waited and no one came so we went and sat in the Bar Area then people would pass by us and wouldn't even greet us are ask if anyone has waited on us finally a guy that was passing by with menus and I stopped him and asked if we can have menu and he just handed it to us and never said I'm sorry I'll be right back to wait on y'all , he just walked away then after another 10 minutes he came and took order I ordered a cup of potatoe soup fried mushrooms steak and salad root beer and tea.. It took for ever to get my soup and when it came out it was cold and greasy after I tried it I stopped him and asked him to take it back and take off our bill i explain to him what was wrong with it and all he said was ooookkkk never offered to replace it or I'm so sorry... Manager came out and apologized and took it off our bill she did offer something else we declined, We told her how rude he was she said she would take care of it.. Then manager brought our fried mushrooms out and we were applauded at how greasy they were and how dark as a manger she should have never let those come out and for her to bring them here is a photo look at all the grease , I ran many casino restaurants and there is no way I would of ever aloud that to go out ... after that we told her to bring our bill we wanted to pay for what was brought out and told her to cancel steak and salad she told us she took it off our bill , we left and will never be back there again , this was at 12:30 pm on 12/29/2018 read more

This was the Worst and I do mean the worst experience I have ever had at an Outback restaurant. 1. The restaurant is very dirty including the bathroom.  There was food on the the floor and there was no effort to sweep up the previous meal service. 2. When we arrived (there were two of us), we were told the wait would be 30 minutes or more although there were 5 empty tables available in the restaurant. 3. Once seated, we ordered an appetizer (blooming onion), 2 hamburgers--one with a salad and one with soup. 4. The appetizer arrived first and it was burned. 5. After about 30 minutes (right now we have only received bread and the appetizer) the waitress ask us if we needed anything else.  I told her we were waiting on our food.  She said "Oh yea" and ran back to the kitchen and brought us a salad and soup.  The waitress then comes back to our table (It is now about an hour and half into this ordeal) and ask us if we saved room for dessert.   I said we are waiting on our hamburgers.   Again she ran to the kitchen to check on our order. 6. Now we get our hamburgers which are ruined.  They are dry and cold.  Must have been sitting in the kitchen this whole time.    Over 2 hours have now passed. 7. I paid the check and ask to speak to the manager.   He would not talk to us because they said he was busy.  He sent some one else out to speak to us. read more

As always the food tasted great but the service was AWFULL. just went in for a beer and some apps and left an hour and a half later. Took us 40 min to get our beer. The presentation was also bad. I got the ahi tuna which tasted great but was on a huge plate with a sparse and sad bit of "coleslaw" ( just chopped cabbage). Will not be going back to this location until I hear rumors that they have new management. read more

Food was typical Outback Steakhouse fare and the steaks were cooked to perfection; however, I've never seen such slooooooow service. It was a weeknight and the place was not that busy. Once seated, we got our drinks after more than 15 minutes, the appetizer (blooming onion) took another 20 minutes, salads took another 15 minutes, and it was a full hour and 10 minutes from the time we were seated before our meals were served. Since it wasn't that crowded, it must have been the kitchen and/or poor management. Good food, but most people would consider the wait unacceptable. read more

My husband and I went there for our 35 anniversary. I want to point out that we don't go out to eat often since we are often disappointed with either bad food, bad service or both. We should have known it wasn't going to be a pleasant experience when we had to track down a waiter/waitress to be seated and it was 5 p.m. and we were seated by 5:15 p.m. and there were 6 other couples behind us. Real attentive! Our waitress was pleasant enough but not very attentive. I had to wave her down a few times to get something to drink. The food was horrid! I ordered a medium rare rib eye which was nothing like medium rare but well done and about 1/4 inch thick. There was so much seasoning on the steak that you could actually scrap it off it was so thick - disgusting. You couldn't even tell what type of meat you were eating. The seasoned rice tasted like it was 2 days old and was reheated more times than I would even like to imagine. My salad was limp and the "house" dressing was spoiled and I tasted this salad for the remainder of the evening - it was that bad! My husband's steak - prime rib -again had so much seasoning on it he had to scrap it off. My husband will eat anything so it was amazing that he was complaining. The waitress brought me a doggy box, like I would have fed my meal to my dog - I don't think so. I put my dinner - the entire thing in the box and threw it out in the garbage can outside! I didn't want to complain to the waitress since I know if you complain the food can come back less than sanitary or even worse than the first plate. Lessoned learned. In the past, this particular Outback hasn't impressed me. However, I went this past Saturday and really enjoyed the experience. My waiter was extremely attentive, and always made sure we were taken care of. The food was great. The owner/proprietor checked on us often. Overall, a GREAT experience. read more

Well it's the worst place I have ever been to the service was not good at all. The whole rack of ribs I ordered consist of 4 and a half of ribs I think in most places is not even a half a rack. The ribs were cold around the bone, the glasses were not clean so in my humble opinion this place truly SUCKED! read more

I see some bad reviews here. I guess it's a good thing I didn't see them before. We went there after a day of medical appointments because it was my wife's birthday. She ordered a steak and it was overcooked. Our server, Josh, took it back to get another one. A few minutes later, the manager, Travis, came to tell us he was dealing with the problem. The new steak was perfectly cooked and even though my wife had eaten the sides, she got new ones. When we got ready to leave, she got some more of the grilled asparagus in her togo box too. The customer service was fantastic. Josh was very personable and attentive throughout. It was a very nice experience overall and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

Ordered to go, and was so disappointed with the whole experience. My bread was cold, like straight out of the bag, no bread oven, cold. My cheese fries were literally so burnt they were black, and so hard I couldn't even bite into them. Also asked for extra cheese, and it barely had any on it. I could literally count the shreds of cheese on the fries. They went straight into the trash. Asked for light seasoning on my steak and it seems to have extra seasoning. I also requested A1, which I did not get and had to ask for. Also did not get silverware like I asked. I used to work for this Outback for over 5 years, as to go and a server, so I know what is expected and this was unacceptable!!! I hate to complain, but I know what should and should not be sent to a customer. I am highly disappointed with the whole experience. The food at this particular Outback was a complete disappointment. My steak, the filet, was fatty all the way through. The mashed potatoes had no flavor and resembled the box mix from the grocery store. BY FAR, THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE EVER HAD WITH A RESTAURANT!!! We ordered over $50 of take out food (steak & lobster) and received the wrong food (chicken) twice!!!! The "manager" didn't seem to care that they had messed our order up, TWICE! We did get a refund, but we spent 2 hours driving back and forth, and still didn't get the correct order. To top it off, we wasted SO much time trying to get the correct order that everything else was closed! So we not only went to bed upset about the bad experience but hungry as well!!!! SAVE YOURSELF!!!! This was hands down the worst Outback ever. Worst restaurant really. The place was packed. A strategic location for sure so close to the outlets I swear that's the only reason it's still there. 20 year wedding anniversary today so instead of staying in town (shelby) wanted to go somewhere different and I've not had a blooming onion in forever so let's go to the outback...never again or at least not to this one! 30 minute wait on app. The entire 2 hour experience several tables with crying babies non stop...ugh really take your child outside until they calm down have some respect we aren't eating at a pizza buffet with a kid game room. Ordered my salad with dressing on the side, nope salad covered in dressing of course. 45-50 minutes later entree comes steak ok do better at home of course lobster tail chewy and I really am paying for that?? My daughter had ribs and that was the only entree that wasn't a let down. Had to wave waitress down several times for refill of drinks. Husband ordered from the Wednesday special 11.99 deal had to remind waitress of this so we wouldn't be overcharged...she asked how is everything I answered lobster not good very chewy...she's like ok and walked off. Experience total let down ill cook on my next anniversary or browse more thoroughly on yelp before we go!! Not what I expect from an Outback. We stopped for Sunday lunch and ordered two steakhouse salads, which we previously enjoyed at other Outback's. I don't know if the recipe for these has been changed everywhere or this Outback deviated from it. The greens were old and brown at the edges. Very little of the blue cheese was present. The steak was probably skirt and very tough despite being med-rare as requested. Worst of all the dressing was quite sweet and drowned the greens. They were busy but still the service was too slow for that level of busy. I will return to Outback, maybe not this one, because I think they offer good value at their price point. read more

It has been a while in between each visit but this was one of the worst experience to date and it was the third time in a row at this specific location. A night that should have taken 45-1 took approximately 1 and a half to 2 and there were plenty of open tables. The food is usually awesome and our waitress was the bomb but the main problems stem from the Manager(s) along with the cooking staff. Multiple tables receiving either undercooked or overcooked food, the Manager, Travis I believe his name was, did not really apologize but sought to justify it than to correct it. He also stepped right to the next table doing the exact same thing. I was still so impressed with our server who was new, I left her a large tip since some of my food was comped and the manager made her come back to the table (we overheard) with our change because he did not believe we could complain yet tip her.
