I went here for dinner for Fathers Day. It was a really poor experience- my dinner took nearly two hours to come out. When it did actually come out; it was way overdone. They did remake it and give me a discount, which was appreciated. Then the bill was wrong - I was charged twice. I didn't catch it - started to pay on the table tablet, and then realized it as my payment went through. The manager said she couldn't fix it, only the owner could. They said she would be in first thing Monday morning and would address the overcharge and call me. No call all day, I called to follow up and was told she should be in tomorrow. How ridiculous- no one but the owner can take care of customers and she doesn't answer the phone or come in? I'm less than impressed. read more

It was getting pretty busy after we were seated, but she was a rockstar that made sure we were taken care of. I really hate to give a review when I haven't fully tried a meal at a restaurant but my experience was short and brief so take it for what it's worth. Got there at 5:30, the restaurant was not full at all. The atmosphere was nice and everything was clean. However, I ordered a blooming onion at 5:35 pm. It came out at 6:00 and was slightly overcooked. Additionally ordered old fashioned drink and they had to remake it twice. It just wasn't done right and they should've just stated they don't know how to make them in lieu of two bad attempts. That was enough for me to realize this place needs some more cooks and or help because they just weren't on top of things. Paid the bill and went to another restaurant. Bottom line,I could see the manager was trying her best and the wait staff was good. I just hope that they're able to turn the ship around. read more

We had a large group and our server was excellent. A little cold inside for a November night but everyone was happy with the food and service. Last May, my husband and I were looking for a new house in the Jacksonville area and came into Outback. We were seated in Jaelyn's section, and had a great meal and memorable conversation. In the months since then, we've thought about her, and we moved to a nearby town in February. Tonight we found ourselves at Outback again and I looked up my review from last May so I could find her name. We were able to sit in her section again and she recognized and remembered us from just the one visit a whole year ago. Jaelyn is a treasure. A fantastic server, she makes her job look like it's an extension of her personality. She checked on us repeatedly, and I witnessed her being just as social and attentive with other guests in her full section at 730 on Friday night. Amazing waitress who was knowledgeable, friendly, and doing her best to stay on top of all the booths she had. Sirloin steak with bloomin onion fried chicken were cooked perfectly and well seasoned. I didn't even need A1 because the sirloin was a juicy medium. Mashed potatoes were a touch on the salty side but still delicious. House salad with ranch was fresh and tasty but the ranch under the cheese threw me a little bit because it looked like they forgot the dressing. I also ordered the Koala Punch so I could get an adorable koala rubber duck. FREE bad shrimp! Tried this place again after several years. We arrived and they were pretty slow but the hostess asked for my name to put me on a wait list because some employees had not shown up. We were promptly seated by the manager who asked for our drink order. We attempted to order beers but their draft system was broken so we ordered water and she asked if we'd like bread, to which we said yes. About 10 minutes later another person brought our waters and about 10 minutes after that the late employee took our orders. Our food was fairly good (we never did get the bread or ever see the manager again). Toward the end of our meal, another server arrived at our table asking if we liked shrimp. Apparently they had a couple of orders of extra coconut shrimp, to which we happily accepted and they were really good. Luckily, we were headed straight home after our visit because we both barely made it to the restrooms. They only thing we both ate was the free shrimp and it took both of us down for the next several hours. I came out with my boyfriend for a nice date. I got the half rack of ribs, baked potato, and Mac and cheese. He got the smokehouse burger with fries. It. Was. Soooo. Delicious! The ribs were actually fall off the bone and my favorite part of the meal. His burger was very good. I got 2 margaritas and I think that they were good as well, I could definitely taste the alcohol in them our waitress was very nice and funny; it was busy at the restaurant so we waited on some things but that was very understandable and not a problem at all. Okay so, we came in with a HUGE group tonight and we had a reservation. They made sure to keep out tables together so we wouldn't be separated. Our drinks were regularly tended to by our wonderful waitress who was very helpful and accommodating (her name was Alicia.) Our food was served quickly and our steaks were done as we had requested. I have not been to this location for quite a while due to the last time I was here. Today, my daughter and I decided to give it a whirl. Here are the results........upon walking in we were greeted nicely and fast. They had also just opened up. They have since remodeled since I was last there and it looked pretty good inside and was clean inside and outside also. We were sat and quickly greeted by our server, Michael, which was great by the way. Now, onto the food. I don't know what they did, or who they got back there cooking, but they did a wonderful job. To begin, we had the Bloomin Shrimp. It got to the table so hot that we had to let it cool down, lol. It was so good, that we ate it and burned our mouths doing so. It was cooked to a great golden brown, flavored perfect, and that sauce with it is delicious. We both had the Steak and Tasmanian shrimp for entree. We also enjoyed the Mac and cheese and fries. The steaks were nice and tender and cooked as we wanted. The shrimp was again, cooked to perfection. The Mac and cheese was cooked nicely to where it wasn't overly creamy and the noodles had a nice bite. They also serve it in a little cast iron skillet which was nice. As for the fries, what can I say?, fries are fries. Lol. They were cooked well and crispy. I say, great job Outback. Last year coming here was a disappointment for me and my family. After a few months of waiting, I have to say that I am so impressed with the significant changes to the food. The food last time was dry, bland and lacking any respect. But now, the food was bursting with flavor and texture. The Sirloin and the new blooming chicken combo was to absolutely die for and makes up for the prices here. The mashed potatoes and fries did not disappoint whatsoever, and our Mac and Cheese bites were a good work up to our entrees. Honestly I'm lost for words with how good our dishes are. The environment still looks as good as ever, the only thing that needs work is the bathroom. Although the service has improved, it still needs some work and I know it will improve. read more

I ordered my sister dinner for her birthday, I live in California. The awesome girls (sorry I didn't get names) over the phone took my order and reassured me that they will contact the delivery service for me and take care of delivery. My sister called and told me that the restaurant called and said the delivery service didn't show and they sent one of their employees to deliver my sister's food! Talk about service you would not get that out here! My sister got the porterhouse stake, baked potato fully loaded, broccoli and a cheesecake.
