Chris Howse of Prewett Read is a fount of knowledge and especially on native plants. Her bid to cut back the freeze damage, structurally prune shrubs that haven't been touched in years and replace some shrubs was more than reasonable, but it didn't reflect the care and meticulous workmanship of her crew. When they applied mulch, they actually lifted the plant leaves to make sure they didn't get buried and rot. When they pruned, they didn't use equipment - they carefully selected each branch and manually used a pruning shear. When they finished, they even cleaned our pool. They even blew any specks of debris off neighbors' cars parked along the curbs. I was a property manager for more than two decades and have never had such a terrific landscape service. Wish I had known about them years ago!
