I got my first piercing here, but after getting more piercings at other places, I realized the experience wasn't good at all. When he pierced my septum, it took about ten seconds long enough for him to say "oops" while the needle was still going through. That made me really uncomfortable. He didn't check my anatomy or even feel for my sweet spot he just clamped it and pushed the needle through. I'm honestly lucky my cartilage wasn't pierced, since he didn't check. From what I've learned, a septum piercing should never take that long, and the placement should always be checked first. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone please find a professional who takes the time to do it safely. read more

I've had my nose pierced multiple times, and this piercer was awesome!! I'm horrible with names so I don't remember her name, but she was gentle and calm even though my nose was bleeding a lot because of the scar tissue. About a month later, I came to her again to change my piercing out because I couldn't get it out myself. Again, super nice and gentle. Also, both times they saw me right away. I did call beforehand to see how busy they were. 10/10 would recommend! read more

i turned 18 back in july, and i promised my friends emily and taylor (taylor ended up chickening out) i would get a matching tattoo with them, thus bringing me to the date of friday august 3rd 2012. we were all three standing in the middle of outlaw ink discussing the tattoo we wanted (the deathly hallows symbol from harry potter, don't laugh the book series is amazing and my favorite books hands-down). emily already having two tattoo's wasn't nervous at all and volunteered to go first (after we went over to food fair so she could get money out of the atm). the guys that worked there were very nice and helpful and took the time to ask us lots of questions about the tattoo we wanted (also made sure we ate before coming, sometimes people will pass out from a tattoo or piercing if they haven't ate recently). the location was very clean and there were tattoo sketches on the wall so you could see their work. our tattoos didn't take more than 10 minutes on account of them being relatively small and simple. emily and i ended up getting our tattoos at the same time because one of the guys appointments was not on time. taylor held my hand on account of me being nervous, while it did hurt a bit (which is to be expected), i'm still very happy i got it done. it represents my favorite books, and two of my best friends. the only negative experience to this (besides getting in trouble) is the fact we had to go get cash out. while i believe they do accept credit cards they'd prefer it to be on a more expensive tattoo (ours were $40, i believe most places have a minimum tattoo price so no matter what you get or how big it will be at least their minimum price). if i were to get another tattoo or piercing i would love to go back to this place because the people were so friendly and the place was quite clean, however i believe someone that works there knows my dad so i may not be back, haha. read more

Kinda really aggravated . FIRST OFF IT SMELLS LIKE STRAIGHT UP WEED IN THERE!!! I called and asked if they could put in new jewelry if I payed because mine had fallen out while I was washing my face and the place I originally went to was closed and I was desperate to have it not close up on me. They told me they could try and put it in. I get there and they take me back and have a guy WHO WASNT EVEN A PIERCER tried to put it in for like 5 minutes and didn't know how to put jewelry in for the life of him. They ended up telling me they needed to re-pierce it so they did and it's like they didn't even need to because it was painless. And while the ACTUAL piercer was re-doing it the guy who tried to stick it in the first time was having to have how to do it explained to him. Not to mention it was more painful having the "professional" piercer put the new jewelry in more than getting my nose pierced originally. So I go home and a couple hours later I notice my nose is swollen and the piercing Is sunk in. Come to find out they used the wrong size jewelry. I payed $40 for basically nothing. So I call the place I originally went to and they said they'd look at it. I get there and they told me that it was TOTALLY unprofessional to do that and that a true piercer would have used a taper to ease it open. And while he looked at it he said they messed with it too much because of how swollen it was. He told me to put ice on it and to come back the next day if it was still sunken in and he'd take care of it free of charge. PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE COMING HERE! I was told that the piercer has been doing this since "before I was born" and I'm 18 so clearly at least having 18 years of practice didn't help him at all. GO TO FREEDOM INK. 100% nice and helpful people. I do not suggest this place in the least bit unless you'd like to pay for an overpriced piercing! read more
