They transformed my suburban from a "mall crawler" to an animal rescue beast so that we can go off road with plenty of lighting, new fender, bumper, lift, wheels, tires, lights, and a control module for the lights in the console. After the first phase was done, Donny communicated that the blue kind of killed the vibe, and I agreed. So we incorporated a really nice gunmetal gray wrap to top it off, and I am happy to say this is not only the coolest car I will have ever driven, but the most badass looking suv that I've ever seen. Very pleased, and I am excited to go pick it up!

Had it towed to my mechanic and he noticed that several bolts from the lift job were literally hanging on by 1 thread. Some were sitting on the frame. 90% of them were improperly torqued. It ended up costing me an additional 1500 plus parts to fix their mistakes. Nice enough guys but unfortunately couldn't be more disappointed.

This is a great shop that focuses on, as the name suggests, off road type vehicles (rock crawlers,…read more4x4s, jeeps, etc.). They are not just another shop, these guys build competition vehicles that are pretty amazing to see. But I am not a competition vehicle type guy, I just have an 02 Jeep Wrangler that needed some attention. In the past year I took the jeep to a local shop to have the issues checked out and the results were not what I hoped for as the same issues either returned or never left. So, I found this place and decided to try it out. I took my jeep along with a list of issues that I had noticed (rattles in door, dash, and read end, harsh ride, broken lock, power steering issue, sticking brakes, and more). They addressed and fixed every single issue and the jeep is riding smoother and quieter than it ever has! When they called to discuss what they had found and what needed to be done, they were polite and, most importantly, talked in a way that even I understood what the problems were and what repairs were needed. Now the Jeep needed a lot of things done because, well, it's 13 years old. I ended up with new shocks, power steering pump and reservoir, brake calipers, door lock assembly, control arms, and other repairs to fix the rattles in the door and dash area. The whole process took a week which considering that it all had to be diagnosed, parts ordered and then repaired was pretty great. I talked to a buddy who works in another shop in town and had him do an estimate for the same exact job at their shop and it would have been 22% more to do the exact same work by guys who don't just focus on my type of vehicle. But the one thing that impressed me the most was when they admitted to a mistake right away without me having to find it. Apparently during the process, something fell in the garage and scratched my passenger side door. Now this is a 13 year old jeep so it's highly likely that I would have never noticed it, but instead of following the "wait and see" or play dumb approach that many businesses would have, they were upfront and honest and offered to either knock $200 off my bill or repair the scratch (they just would need it for an extra day). I plan on doing some aesthetic improvements to the jeep in the coming year and I have no doubt that they will be done by the guys at Essentially Off Road because I can't imagine going anywhere else. These guys (and gal) rock! Trust me, they'll treat you right and get the job done. Mop

James was awesome! Spoke to him ,made an appointment, and dropped my truck off. They did the work in a timely manner. He answered every question I had about the work. How to break everything in and when to come back for service. He has been around for 20 years, that tells me he is doing something very well! They are a local business and stay very busy. I understood there is wait list. I have no problem waiting on perfection. TBT has my business for life.

They say most places don't do the work properly and we asked how they would do it - afterward, I asked a few places how they would make the fix we need, and these other places said the same things. They also talked about how they only need the vehicle for 3-5 days and most places don't have availability and take the car for 2-3 weeks. I've communicated directly with about 10 spots and they all had availability in the coming week as well as taking the car for just 3 days. I know this is a sales technique, and I don't appreciate it. Not the honest way to conduct a business.

CHRIS helped me figure out a solution, which was a thin helix 10 inch sub box that fit perfectly behind the third row seat in the back. It fit great. Now that truck is not doing well anymore so I went to them again to ask how to get the equipment into my new truck and they help me find a solution for that. And even though the original estimate was too much for me to pay right now they found a way to, let me build the system overtime. They just put the touchscreen radio that was in my jeep back in my new truck and everything is very professional and done well. I look forward to getting the rest of the work done. They do an excellent job, and I highly recommend them.
