I remember back in the days this use to be the outlet to go. It was a must stop for us when we drove from LA to Vegas along with the In N Out, but the last few Vegas trips we just blew past this place. We did stop by this time to check it out and it's a lot smaller than I thought. If you're use to the Cabazon outlet or Camarillo, then this is a tiny outlet. I love these outlets. There is a great variety of stores, something for everyone in the family. The nike store is my personal favorite where some items are 75% lower than retail price. It's hot out, so they have misters spraying water vapor on all the halls where you are walking between stores. There are plenty of bathrooms which are clean and family-style. Parking isn't an issue and the stores are mostly mask-optional if you are vaccinated. read more

When did this outlet pop up!?!? I've gone from San Diego to Vegas a fair amount of times and I swear, I've never seen this place before prior to my last trip. It must be relatively new or I lack attention to detail. Either way, it was a nice little pitstop to make prior to hitting Sin City. This outlet is much smaller than most, but it still packs a good amount of stores and sweet deals. I love Reebok so naturally when I saw the Reebok sign from the I-15, I knew I had to check it out. I ended up scoring a shirt and a pair of pants for under $10 each. Perfect additions to my already hefty Reebok collection. Quiksilver was also having a rediculous 75% off everything deal when I went too. I didnt't have much luck finding my sizes since the hoards of people before me probably stole all the medium sized clothing and size 9 footwear but there were plenty of clothes going for $5 or under and good quality sandals going for $3-$4 after the discount. That's about as good as it gets. Other stores that appealed to me here were Nike, Guess, Van Heusen, and Nautica. I believe there is around 40 different stores in this outlet currently. That is not including the food court that have your basic mall dining options. Something I really liked about this outlet is they place drinking fountains sporadically around the mall. Barstow is practically a desert so it will get absurdly hot on most days. There is little to no shade here unless you hide in the stores or in the walkway to the bathrooms. It's nice that they included water fountains to make walking around more bearable. Another thing to note is there is a California Welcome Center within this outlet. So if you're a tourist here you can go there to find travel plans and general information about the best state in America ;) This outlet is located about halfway during your trip if you are going from SD/LA area to Vegas. It may seem a little weird to place an outlet in Barstow out of all places but I think it kind of makes sense. The location breaks up the monotony of driving along a relatively boring route along the I-15. It is the perfect place for a bathroom break and some shopping before continuing on your trip to Vegas. read more

These outlet stores are mostly crap and are not worth going to unless you're either on the way to or leaving Vegas. The Coach outlet was having a 60% off plus an additional 30% off clearance items. I snagged sunglasses and a wallet. read more

Came here twice and both times left without a single purchase. Brands that they have here seem to carry really outdated products. Prices are not any lower than at a regular store. They have a few really old items at a lower price, but all the rest of merchandize is at regular price. What is the point of these outlets, i don't know. read more

This outlet is really small but I enjoy it and probably stop at this one the most. It's got a few stores I really like and its really open spaced and airy. The food court is a joke, its like one concession stand booth. Check their information office, they often have deals. read more

I am not sure how this place doesn't have better reviews. Like for real what other outlets are these people going to. Free parking, plenty of designer items such as Kate Spake, Nike, Coach, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren just to name a few. The price is very affordable. They should add more restaurants and I guess they could update the food court, but there are plenty of other restaurants within walking distance. I browsed through most of the shops and here's what you can expect to find clothes, shoes, sneaker, gym clothes, sunglasses, purses, wallets, luggage, back packs, camping supplies, and much more. Good deals on some name brand items but you're really buying last years fashions for a slightly better deal than buying them in season. We do stop in here every time we pass by because it's become somewhat of a tradition for us. You can get some good deals on name brands so when you arrive, have an idea of what you want to get so you can get in & out as quick as possible. the stores are okay. but theres only one entrance and exit which sucks a lot because the cars start to pile up. there is also only one small food court which barely qualifies to be called a food court. it was also closed when i went last time. read more

I went to Guess Factory at Barstow and they treated me and my daughter horrible. The manager Stephanie at that store was not giving me credit for a shirt that had a tag on it and so with that being said she didn't even bother giving me money for. So she lied just to save money. She had the poorest customer service I've ever seen. People deserve to know what she did. She was so rude and inconsiderate to be talking to a customer like that. Why do we even bother spending money there for what happened. She didn't even want to give the same price for two pants I bought that were the same but different colors, like what was that for. She was rolling her eyes at me. When my daughter went in the store to get something they were watching her like she was going to steal something. The lady was even rolling her eyes at my daughter. She couldn't even shop in preace and for her to be rushed throughout the store because she was uncomfortable was just a disgrace. I will never shop there again. I went all that way from Orange County to Barstow so that I can shop at there store was a horrible decision. That's the last time I will ever step foot onto there store again. I would shop at the outlet if I had too again but never with guess. Guess messed it up with me. read more

Love this place! Always stop here while on my way to/from Las Vegas, just off the interstate 15. Plenty of parking, good choice of stores (Nike, GAP, Old Navy, Calvin Klein, Coach etc. ). Much smaller than all other outlet center but enough to spend an hour or two shopping. read more

We traveled to Las Vegas and stopped here first. went during Presidents' Day...what a sale! Coach was 70% off, Michael Kors was 60% off. Their taxes are the lowest then any other outlet. I believe it was around 7%. Primm and Las Vegas North outlets are above 9% tax. read more

Most of the shops , in spite of the sales and coupons are very expensive to shop at ! But , I figured one of the less expensive stores ( the loft, the gap ( going out of business) and Old Navy ,May have something I could afford that looked decent to wear . I walked in Old Navy and they had in- expensive prices & discounts all throughout the store . I didn't see anything that excited me until I saw a sign "$10" that was featuring black skinny low cut jeans ! Hmm I hardly have any pants and needed more and this one got my attention ! The sales girl seemed a little nervous and kept suggesting that I see other ( more costly ) pants in the store , but I was interested in these! She said " you can have them for $10 , but they aren't $10? Then her manager came and was contradicting at first , stating I could have them for $10 , then she quickly changed her mind and said " oh we get kids in here that mess with the signs " here it's supposed to look like this ! ( she quickly changed the $10 sign to the $30% off one & put it where the 30% off sign was and told me that I now couldn't have it for $10! I told her that was bad customer service ! So she had an attitude and said " ok you can have it for $10 but only the low cut skinny jeans . Thank God it was my size ! So she kept her word ! I got a good deal . Now when I used to work at a popular retail store, as a cashier we were allowed to give our guests things at the price it was marked without any attitude . Made our guests happy read more

Great deals on lots of different items. Visited the Nike store and they have tons of Jordan shoes that was already 75% off the actual price and then you get another 20% off. Signature bags were also on sale. Good place to shop. The only bad thing is they don't have alot of stores to visit like any other outlet stores. read more

What I like about this place is that you're not overwhelmed by the amount of stores and that there isn't too many people! I was able to drive from one location to another and find close parking, I was too lazy too walk the whole strip. Remember to check online for coupons as I did and got 40% of my purchase at Reebok, and $10 off at Van Heusen. read more

I was at the outlets about a week ago, I was disappointed to see that Quick Silver and Ugg were gone, and that Bass was also closing. I remember when this outlet center was huge, now there is nothing on the backside of the shopping center. We did shop at several of the other stores, such as the Vans store ( hopefully it won't close down ). read more

I have never written a review of any store but I decided to write about my awful experience at the sketcher store. The cashier (whom I later found out was the manager) refused to give us the discount outlined in the outlet discount card and she gave us a gift receipt without asking us for our preference. I then asked for a regular itemized receipt and she turned really rude and saying that I would have to wait. When I told her how rude she was and she said that she didn't care! Her negative attitude had a racist undertone to it. I didn't want to make a scene so I just walked out but I plan to make a formal complaint with sketcher corporate office. Never making the mistake of stopping at this outlet again. read more

I have been here plenty of times in my way to Vegas and used to love it here. Now it's just a place to stop and use the restrooms. The outlet mall seems to be bussing in loads of tourists who are not local and have a lower lack of understanding about not walking in the middle of the parking lot, not cutting in line and cleaning up after yourself in the restrooms. They also need to learn not to yell at the employees in another language and to realize that yelling louder does not automatically make you understood. Though I get that the mall does not have control over the patrons it does need to take responsibility. If you are having busses bring in patrons then the mall needs to make sure that adequate security is on hand to direct traffic, that staff is more available to clean the restrooms more frequently, otherwise I will just wait to get to Nevada or Los Angeles to spend my shopping cash. read more

Spent the weekend with my daughter and had an absolute blast! We loved shopping at all these stores and there is a majority open, not closed! We found 80% off at a couple of stores and our trunk was full. We stayed overnight at the great Holiday Inn Express and ate at the local restaurants. The weather was rainy, but we made the best of it and absolutely enjoyed ourselves. We will be coming back every 6 months. read more

Wonderful place - not too overwhelming, not too many people, went in on Sunday 7/16 - lines were short, Gap was empty - loved it! I go to Camarillo and Citadel and these places are extremely packed, no room to walk, too many stores to spend a day there. I really liked this place because they have Gap and Old Navy right next to each other which happens to be my 2 faves. I'll make sure to stop here from now on when I come back from Stateline or Laughlin. read more

Used to love this place. Would stop there on the way to Vegas a few times a year. Really looked forward to it. Had about 6 stores we regularly went to. Quicksilver, Gap, Coach, etc). The best thing about it was it had a safe , clean bathroom for a woman or a woman with a child, to stop and use. You could stretch, use the bathroom, do a little shopping, use the bathroom again, and hit the road. I went there yesterday. I am never going back again. They have boarded up and closed their visitors center that had the clean, safe bathrooms. There is now a portable building in the parking lot that is the visitors center. With a sign that says " no public bathrooms" and a few port a pottys next to it. Really? Who wants to stop there and spend a few hundred bucks , and use a port a potty in 106 degree heat? Typically we are heading to Vegas for soccer tournaments. Where one can expect to find port a pottys. But at a business that wants you to shop there? I don't think so. I followed 2 cars that I was not with into the parking lot. All 3 of us took one look at this and made u-turns out of there. I can't imagine that this poor choice on ownership/managements part is not affecting the retailers at this location. Soon this part of the outlets will be a ghost town like the outlets across the street have turned into. People can now buy most of what they want online. It is a retailer job to make it so a customer feels wanted and is happy shopping in their store. Having no public restrooms except stinky , hot port a pottys does not represent that.
