We've been here multiple times and they are not as busy compared to the other outlets we visited. Mainly because there's not many good stores, at least to my liking. We only visit H&M and Nike store and I liked them both. I do however love the parking space. Restroom is pretty far, I think there was only one towards the middle of the outlet. Not a lot of restaurants too. And since this is far from home, we typically don't come here often. Only if well feel like driving far. read more

Love this outlet mall because it has all my favorite stores now - they just opened Banana RepublicThere's a Gap and Asic too! There are a couple little boutiques that me and my friend love shopping in, we always find something to splurge on. Outlets at San Clemente is one of smaller Outlets in Southern California with only 60+ retail shops. I initially came here with high expectations and only ended up leaving with a slight disappointment. [Parking]: Not super crowded on Saturday afternoon so no issues on finding a spot to park. [Amenities & shops]: San Clemente offers free trolley service with the Red Line operating Saturday & Sunday all year round and the Red & Blue Line operating daily from the end of May to the 1st day of October. Any high-end shops like Gucci or Burberry? No. Any indoor food court? No - just few limited restaurant options like Ruby's, Tomo Noodles & Dumplings, Slapfish, etc. Good selection? One of the smallest Outlets I have ever visited and most of shops at this Outlets can be found at other regular malls. [Conclusion]: I would rather visit The Outlets at Orange than this Outlets. The only few things this Outlets has it going are (1) nice beach weather, (2) a movie theater (MetroLux Theatres), and (3) the advertised tallest live-cut Christmas tree in Orange County. read more

Westfield spoils me... They do such a GREAT job with malls that it is very hard for others to compare. Quality/Quantity - Except for Lululemon, I did not need to go to any of the other businesses. I did go to Levis to look for jeans for my daughter. Atmosphere - 75 businesses, see website for specifics. Approximately 15 restaurants, see website for specifics. They do have events here, and individual businesses also have events. See website. The mall is open 7 days a week from 10am to 8pm, see individual businesses for their hours. Plenty of mall parking. Very clean bathrooms. They also have a theater here. Service - 5 stars at Lululemon, see other Yelp review. N/A for service at the mall. Price - Depends on what you buy. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success for 8+ years now. Unless I need something else from Lululemon, I probably will not be back. read more

This is a cool place with a lot of stores. I usually go here for the cars and coffee every 3rd Saturday of the month. They have a huge selection of stores to choose from. It can get very crowded, and restrooms are clean as well. Parking can be limited, so you might have to walk a bit. When we went, they had a lot of 4th of July Sales going on. We always want to try the various restaurants they have there, but it's always so crowded. read more

Outlet mall in our area so we come to browse sometime. There's tons of parking -both outdoors and in a covered area. Only thing sometimes the escalator is not always working if you use the covered part. There are lots of stores but smaller than other outlets- Columbia, Nike, Vans, Sketchers, ASICS, Converse, PUMA to name a few. There is also a movie theater. BEST OF ALL, there is a free trolley that takes you to the main part of San Clemente. You can even connect to other trolley and get to Dana Point. Sure beats trying to find parking at the beach! Stopped by here today for the first time to do my last shopping for 2023. Great location with easy access to/from the 5 freeway. There's not a whole lot of stores here - but they do have some favorites for me - Jockey, CK, Skechers, AE and Levi's. I stopped by all five, but only bought from two of them due to selection/size availability. You can walk the whole place in about an hour - there's a decent food court and other restaurants in the immediate area including Ruby's Diner, Blaze Pizza, and Panera Bread. I really like the smaller-format atmosphere - I think it attracts a smaller crowd, so service is more attentive, and it's easy in and easy out. Not sure if it's just because it was NYE, but the crowd for a Sunday afternoon wasn't too bad. They had a huge Christmas tree up today, a trolley (not sure where it goes since the outlet is pretty small), and a smaller train that goes through the outlet for kids. The restrooms here are pretty snazzy. They are well-maintained and clean. Parking is super easy - plenty of stalls and I had no issue finding a spot with a relatively decent walk. read more

Outlet mall located in San Clemente. Has EV charging stations available. Huge parking lot. I come here once a year just to see what goodies they have. In comparisons to the Carlsbad outlet this one has less stores. They do have a Nike factory outlet and an Adidas one coming soon. This outlet is widespread so it's roomier to walk along. Also there are a few stores that were closed so I curious what new store will pop up. Last Saturday, I went there because my son wanted to see the car show. To my surprise, the car show was amazing! There were so many beautiful cars. But the outlets even surprised me more. I'm not sure if it's weird to mention this, but I want to give credits to the people that built this shopping place. It means luxury from the shops to the restroom. The restroom is clean, spacious, and even has a waiting room with charming decors. The design and materials that were used really speak out loud, I am expensive! H&M STORE- Very rude guy named "GREG" as he said his name was. He needs to learn about customer service and not tell a customer that she was being explosive when another customer went after with remarks and hisses about some special needs kid(s). I was behind the customer that started her remarks and the little girls mom was behind me. He is working in a store that has kids coming in, and needs to learn not to be annoyed by them. The mother told him that he should educate himself and learn some compassion when it comes to children, I have to agree. He was laughing with the customer and the following ones, as I was being helped by a young lady. I don't know if it was that they were hispanic, but it was all disgusting. read more

A large outlet mall directly off the 5 freeway. They have all the typical stores, but it's a smaller outdoor outlet mall. They have a lot of store brands that sell exercise gear, athleisure wear, and outdoor gear. They have different lawn games in the center of the mall if you're looking for a break from shopping. There are restaurants in the outlet mall and across the parking lot. There's plenty of parking, as it does not get very busy here. read more

This is a nice outdoor mall the visit. It's right by the beach. When the weather is nice, it's a very relaxing place to walk and shop. I like the Nike outlet store. It's not as busy as the one in Orange. There are many shops and restaurants. They have events sometimes there too. I've been to a dog event there once. There's a lot of open space which is nice. Not a bad place to walk around and spent some time shopping. It was around 1215 pm when we showed up. Every Saturday there is a car show between 10 am and Noon I think. They park by the Nike store. Today they were only a few left by the time we got there. From what I hear, it does get lots of different cars, classic, muscle, JDM, domestic, imports, and even motorcycles! The outlet itself, is smaller than I expected for an outlet. I think the San Isidro (San Diego) are bigger, but I could be wrong. It was a still pleasant walk through the different shops. They also had music playing by a DJ. It also seemed kinda empty. Maybe it will pick up later in the day. read more

Close to perfect outlet mall to walk around and window shop on a beautiful, breezy California day. Unlike a lot of other outlet malls in SoCal, there were no closed storefronts which definitely helped in giving the mall a more cheery ambiance. It's a nice walkable layout, and there was even a kiddie train giving kids and their chaperones a ride through the mall. There were decent sales throughout the stores even though there was no major holidays close by. It is a super easy in/out from Interstate 5. There is plenty of outdoor free parking (bring those car sunscreens). I noticed a Ruby's Diner as one of the food selectables, and it looked busy...thinking that's a good sign for the overall health of the mall. read more

By reading recent reviews (after our visit) I learned that the trolley that was visible several times at the outlet mall can take you to downtown San Clemente. I'd keep that in mind for future reference, as Yelpers have indicated that you can avoid hassles with beach parking by taking advantage of free parking at the outlets, then riding the trolley. As for the actual experience of a first visit, there was plenty of parking available. We parked near the Nike store. The mall is somewhat of an oval, with access to the shops on the main parking lot side, then the inner part of the oval requires walking around to see what's there. I saw Skechers from the freeway, and that was one reason I wanted to visit when our daughter suggested it. The overall mall is very clean, but almost too pristine. It felt somewhat sterile - not a lot of visual interest in the landscaping or hardscaping. My first stop was to find the Skechers store - part of the inner oval. I did locate one pair in my size of the style that interested me. Might have bought a second pair but they didn't have even close to my size. Instead of bagging in plastic, they use freebie back-sacks (not quite a backpack, but a polyethylene bag with straps so that you can go hands-free as you move to your next shopping stop. That was convenient! I met the rest of the family and strolled the rest of the mall. We popped into a couple of the stores, but either didn't find what we were looking for, nor any particularly good deals. We did take a break in the Starbucks for drinks and a healthy snack for our granddaughter. As for the view of the Pacific promised by others - it was a very foggy day when we visited, so I didn't know that an ocean vista existed. Maybe next time. . . I didn't take any pictures because it was chilly, and I was with the family, not wandering on my own, or with Dear Hubby (who decided to stay behind and catch a cat nap in the car). read more

I come here every so often, but I feel like I only venture here with a very specific purpose and not just to "go shopping for the day" like I do at other outlets (i.e. I need new shoes or a jacket or something). I wish they had a better selection of actual outlet stores. It's in a great location, always seems clean, and I can grab a cup of coffee at the Starbucks, but it's always a very quick walk around without many purchases (guess you could argue that's a good thing though). read more

I organized an amazing event for the nurses at Mission Viejo hospital in the VIP lounge at the San Clemente outlets. The property was beautiful. And extremely easy to access from the backside of the mall. upstairs there was a sunset view . the staff was amazing and very helpful. The space was clean , beautiful, spacious and decorated absolutely gorgeously, Just like a five star hotel. Perfect for parties , events , get together's whatever you might want to use the space for. read more

Some cute boutique stores and a few good food spots but there aren't many interesting large store brands at this outlet mall. And unlike some outlet malls, you don't really feel like you're getting outlet prices because of having to purchase multiple items to get a deal. The restrooms are gorgeous, however. Also, there is EV charging in the parking lot behind the mall and you can usually find a fast charger, so that is an added bonus. read more

The Outlets at San Clemente is one of my favorite outlets to visit. I usually drop by on my way back from visiting San Diego since it's so convenient. The outlet is located right next to the 405 freeway and if you are driving by you can see it from the freeway. The outlet is not very big, and the stores are very limited, but they have all the major stores like H&M, Nike, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Coach, Under Armor and more. It very spacious and never packed which is one of the reasons I like coming here. Also, everyone raves about their fancy and clean restrooms. read more

The Outlets at San Clemente are downright idyllic in comparison to virtually every other outlet mall I've ever visited. It is pretty much the nicest shopping experience you could ask for. The buildings and grounds are clean, beautiful, and new looking, with the classic Spanish Mediterranean style that is common in the area. The restrooms are very upscale and borderline extravagant, with plenty of space and nice amenities. And of course, you get that perfect ocean breeze and South Orange County weather. Oh there's also free wifi too. There is ample parking, and a wide variety of stores. I've gotten some major deals here on shoes, clothing, and all sorts of different things in clearance sales. A lot of stores have huge sales, like 70% off, due to COVID-19. By the way you also get an additional 15% off with a AAA membership. Don't forget to ask what discounts they have! Sometimes they have even bigger ones, which apply to clearance items also. There are also a few good restaurant options, with a Ruby's, Slapfish, Starbucks, and Blaze Pizza, to name a few. Final bonus points, go to the Tesla supercharger in back! So if you have a Tesla, take advantage of this while shopping. Five stars! read more

I went to: Puma: great selection of shoes and sandals and clothing. Had to stick to a budget because I would have spent way more. Had all the sizes we were looking for. Friendly staff. Calvin Klein: no one greeted or helped us. The guy at the register saw me waiting as he folded only to walk over to me to 5-7 mins later to ask if I was ready to pay. Ok. Sun Diego: so much stuff. Got a lot of different things. Shirts, art print, shorts, hats. Spent. The outlets provide some great stuff. It's clean. The bathroom was super clean and offered a seating area inside. We took the trolley to downtown San Clemente. We've never been there but it was so pretty. You pass by all the boutiques and eateries. This is our new fave day trip area. read more

I think this is a lovely place to visit and bring out of town guests etc . I think the prices are still about what you find every where else less $5.00 or you might find a deal like Clark's has two pairs of shoes for $99.00 at times . You can find discounts and clearance items - Van Store I paid $10 less then at the other Van Store off Cabot for little kids shoes . The variety of restaurants are nice Mexican to Ruby's to Starbucks to the little restaurants - it's really nice to enjoy the cool Ocean breeze on a warm day or at sunset . They do have the biggest and cleanest bathrooms for any public shopping outlet I have seen . They make you feel like you are the in Vegas at a really nice Hotel just for the time while your in there . They have separate stalls and an area for your purse and bag, a mommy and baby area and a nice lounge area . This was so clean I can Only thank the janitorial people for that and the owners for ensuring the outlets are very clean always ... They have a couple really cool Souvenir shops there where you can buy really fun gifts for birthdays or Christmas or just yourself - there is a movie theater now - no I haven't gone yet but one day . Oh and a cute doggie Spa gift shop .
