Run, don't walk, Sunny Days is having a 4th of July SALE until July 7th!! This shop is another one on Del Mar Ave in San Clemente. The one thing I really love is that the store is very big and has some great changing rooms. They also have very well organized sections and it doesn't feel cramped. The staff are always friendly, and don't breathe down your neck/give you space to shop around, which I'd prefer. I love Sunny Days, San Clemente. It's got a great selection of comfortable and cute clothes that I can wear or buy as gifts. I've always had a great experience shopping there and I love supporting local. Several of the negative reviews are from years past, but I have to call out some things. 1. Every store has return policies. You can't be mad at businesses reinforcing those. It's your job to pay attention (and I'm a chronic late returner). 2. Parking in downtown SC is rough, but it's not the shop's fault. 3. No businesses have to let customers use the restroom. I get it...it's nice when they do. But if they allow you, imagine how many other people ask. So I'm giving them 5 stars for being an awesome little shop that deserves recognition for having versatile and cute clothes that all ages can love. PS The staff are nice and friendly! read more

This place is incredible! The staff is always super friendly. The selections are great with Z supply and Bella Dahl, and I've always had a great experience. I bring my dog and they have dog treats. I've left stuff in there and they return it kindly. I love shopping here! read more

Extremely disappointed! I was trying to find unique, cute clothes as a present and purchased over $200 worth for Christmas on 12/20. When my daughter-in-law attempted to return the items on 1/24 (it's a long drive for her and she works full-time), they said it was 4 days beyond their return policy and wouldn't even allow store credit. So silly because she probably would have bought even more clothing beyond the store credit. Always loved their clothes and have modeled for them in a large fund-raising fashion show. My Assistance League colleagues have previously worked at Sunny Days, have purchased clothing and jewelry in the past and held the boutique in high regard. However, this experience has really soured me and I will never go in there again. Rest assured, I will pass this message along to my ALCV members. read more

I saw a beautiful denim embroidered dress in the window. I went inside and asked where it was located in the store. The woman working bought me over to the dress and questioned me with her body language. She handed me the dress and immediately followed with "it's $245, is that okay". I said, " yes that's fine". Seriously? Why was that necessary? How is that appropriate? I'm in my mid twenties, dressed in conservative summer attire. Very rude. I do not recommend shopping here unless you're okay with being insulted and judged. read more

I had purchased a pair of earrings that I somehow never received. I was so sad! I went back to the store to see if there was anything the manager could do, and they graciously gave me another pair! I told them If the other ones show up I will be happy to bring them back. I was so excited about the generosity that I even bought a cute shirt while I was there! (I was actually going back to get it from the day before as I was sad I didn't buy it then - lol) I love this store! Cutest selection and wonderful service. I went into this store today and the lady working made a really shocking comment about my body, completely out of nowhere. She said, "You are really skinny. Do you eat?" I was so upset by this comment that I had no more interest in buying the cute sweater I had in my hands and immediately left the store. I left in tears. I have a naturally very small body, which I already feel insecure about because I can't find clothes that fit right. I have also struggled with an eating disorder in the past that I have proudly overcome, but it is a daily effort to remain healthy mentally and physically, and her comment was extremely triggering. I felt ashamed, sad, defeated. I am being so candid about this because I know that many women and men struggle with body image, body dysmorphia, eating disorders, etc. No person has any right to comment on someone else's body. You have no idea what that person is going/has gone through. I really don't think the lady was trying to be malicious or trying to hurt me, but the fact is that she needs to think before she speaks. Sunny Days in San Clemente is my "go to" store to find a new outfit and accessories......The hat selection is awesome I have bought several this summer and always get stopped and asked where did I buy them! My favorite brands are carried here also....Lovestitch and ZSupply and Cobbie are a few of the ones I buy often.....Knowledgeable sales staff is always ready to help...the store is fresh and inviting and always has the latest fashions. I visit weekly as new shipments come in on Thursdays and everything turns over fast....be sure to check it out in downtown San Clemente on Del Mar read more

I want to love this place, I really do but their policies make it almost impossible. Went in to try on Bella Dahl velvet dress. Told the snippy salesgirl that if I signed up and ordered directly from Bella Dahl's website, I would get an immediate 15% off. Nice perk plus free shipping. Another nice perk! Snippy salesgirl said they obviously cannot match for a million different reasons. Ok, I get that but they have a terrible return policy. No refunds just store credit. I will not shop anywhere anymore with this policy. Bella Dahl website offers free shipping and returns plus 15% off! No brainer. Parked in their space with the intention of shopping in Sunny Days. I walked in and wanted to buy Lisette pants as I've purchased them at Sunny Day's in the past. Sales lady was on her cell phone and when I tried to get her attention she ignored me. So I left. Got out to my car and there was a note telling me not to park in their space or I'd be towed next time. The lot also has a sign that says public parking all day. I still don't have my Lisette pants and my car was threatened. I just tried to call and find out why my car was tagged. No one answered the phone. LOLOLOL What kind of merchant treats their customers like this? read more

I went to Fresh Produce today to purchase a Vera Bradley Travel Bag I saw in the window...the customer service was TOP NOTCH! It was apparent that the lovely lady working today truly enjoyed her job. There was about 5 ladies in the store when I arrived and she provided great GENUINE service to each and everyone of us. read more

I've enjoyed shopping at Sunny Days for many years but had an extremely unpleasant experience today. Even though I was a paying customer, the sales person would not allow me to use the restroom saying it was a liability. Liability? It made us feel unwelcome. The clothing and jewelry are unusual and very pretty. I would have given a rating of 5 stars for the merchandise alone. I was very disappointed in the fact that 3 of us in our 60s were shopping for quite a long time and when I asked to use the restroom I was told to walk down the street to a courtyard. When I did so, I was not able to use the restroom as it was for use by restaurant patrons only. The woman in Sunny Days did not seem surprised when I returned to join my friends and told her that. She still refused to let me use the restroom. I understand that they can't offer facilities to the public in a beach community but we hadn't just walked in off the street. Love the store. Hate the parking. Went by today, tried to park in the rear lot. The gate was locked and there was no access into the store from the rear. Tried to park in front (drove around the block twice) no parking due to street fair. Gave up!! Guess I'll try Chico's. read more

I've always loved Sunny Days San Clemente. I've shopped there for several years. It was my favorite store. I purchased quite a few items through the years. Apparently, management changed their employees. They no longer have a manager on site. You can really see the difference. The store looks tired and sad. Not too many items on display. Just racks and racks. I was so disappointed to see this. I figured that this store will survive the outlets that are coming in at the end of the year. Now I'm not too sure. It has become a very mediocre store. read more
