I love shopping here. The offering is very on trend and usually can find my size. The sales girls are always really friendly and kind, even when my crazy kids are running around the store. The prices have gotten a little expensive, but I suspect it's because of the tariffs. This is still one of my go to stores when I'm wanting to freshen up my wardrobe. read more

Had the most exceptional time shopping today, as an SC local born and raised I love coming to Del Mar to shop around and today was immediately greeted by Olivia upon coming through the door! Her kind and endearing smile were so welcoming and she was extremely sweet. I appreciated her wonderful customer service and kindness. She was helpful and dedicated to finding me exactly what I wanted. Overall got so many pieces that will be perfect additions to my closet for a great price. I've always loved this store for clothing but recently bought super cheap costume jewelry that fell apart on day 10. dont waste any money on cheap jewelry here. sweaters are fine jewelry is a waste of money I decided to stop shopping here entirely because the manager didn't call me back and ada made things difficult for me. It's a $20 broken necklace. I have spent over $1000 here and all my clothes are from here. Won't be back. They cut their phone line and did not resolve. Customer service changed and all the nice girls left. It's. New team and I miss the old team they were so much better read more

I stumbled upon this store when walking by the shops on Avenida Del Mar! Their stuff is super cute and the staff were very attentive from the moment I arrived. I live just on the other side of Del Mar and everytime I've previously walked past I thought this place is probably crazy expensive but after finally going in & checking out the boutique I so wowed! Good prices with really cute unique pieces and when they have their 50% sale it's like a steal. The clothes I've purchased here are all really well made too. Love shopping here! read more

I used to love this store, I literally have my entire wardrobe from here.. however the quality of service has declined excessively.. I just spent $600 at the clothing store, and went to go use the bathroom at the home store (knowing there was one in there) just to be told I can't use it because they are watering a large plant in there.. never will support this business again. The employees are rude and disrespectful.. they need Katherine back and employees that actually care about their customers. read more

I absolutely LOVE this place! AND, I've been a patron since literally day one of opening! The clothes are cute-inexpensive and the quality reflects that, but worth the price. I will say that I have always found one or more than one thing every time I go there and the service has always been REALLY SPECTACULAR! However, this time the young girls working at both locations (not the home store) we're completely checked out and could care less about making any sort of personal connection or even eye contact for that matter. If the clothes didn't fit as well as they did, I would have gladly left them at the counter and said no thank you. I NEVER post bad reviews but I really feel that this was a necessity (for the owner and team leader(s)) to know. You have a beautiful thriving business here in a town that embraces local culture and a connection with their residents. My suggestion (as a local business owner and resident) is to train your (new) team to be more engaged and hire team members that fit your culture. read more

If you're a young lady or woman, you can find what you are looking for her! Even if you don't know what you want, Kaitlyn will help you find whatever you need. If it wasn't for her, I would not have left yesterday with the most amazing pieces! She helped me piece together the best outfit for the holidays coming up. Love this place! I use to live in OC and would go all the time. I moved to CO and wasn't sure how ordering from another state would be. Paige (who was so wonderful), helped me find what I was looking for from their Instagram post and recommended a size (perfect fit). Great store! I love the ambiance, vibe and selection of items. It is a very neutral store, with a lot of clothes in neutral colors. I wear a ton of neutral clothes, so it is more of my style. They also have nice home decor and accessories. Really cute, reasonably priced, classic clothes! Their customer service is pretty good too. I have been in a few times when I wasn't really acknowledged though and they were having their own conversation, but other times it is good! read more

The home decor items, jewelry, lotions, and books are carefully selected and beautifully displayed. The ladies who work here are so incredibly sweet and I couldn't have asked for a nicer bunch to help me and my sister out while we were shopping. My sister had her heart set on buying this rust red chiffon tank top thing but unfortunately the one in her size was... lopsided, for lack of a better word. For some reason, one part of the shirt hung lower than the other in the back and no amount of adjusting from her, me, or two of the store's employees who came over to check on our fussing could fix it. My sister was heartbroken. These ladies went above and beyond though, and aside from complimenting her on the color and cut of the shirt, helped her find the same shirt in a different color in the right size and even went so far as to check online to see if they had it in stock anywhere else. They didn't have to go to such lengths, even if it's only to secure a sale, but they did anyway and were so nice about it that my sister and I didn't feel like they were trying to FORCE us into buying something. They were never pushy -- they just really wanted to find my sister the EXACT item she was looking for. I ended up leaving with a purchase of my own, but that's neither here nor there. The customer service here is absolutely amazing and what other stores should strive for! If I'm ever in the area again, you can bet I'll be making a stop here (plus the clothes are cute and affordable to boot)! read more

A freaking joke. No one was helping us while I was standing in a bra in the middle of the changing area OBVIOUS THAT I NEEDED A DIFFERENT SIZE. Then doesn't let my sister come in the changing room with me...disgusting. Go to Kindred up the street. Far better quality and WAY cuter selection. read more

I'm actually a fan of their lifestyle store. A big fan! It is a bit of a drive since I live in Newport and you never know if they will have something you want to decorate with. I have only bought a couple of cardigans from their clothing store and jewelry. I am severely allergic to lavender, so I do need to find out when they have any products in the store open. Closes my throat and can't breathe, so if you are allergic I recommend calling first. But they have darling items, so check them out! Their stores would do so well in Newport and I have been trying to encourage them to open here. read more

Melrose in the OC, is a Southern California based retailer which specializes in Women's Fashion clothing, and accessories for all ages and sizes. Founded by Capistrano Beach, California residents Kristina Waisner Sitzmann and her Interior Designer Mother, Marie Waisner, Melrose in the OC is what you might call, the Southlands version of (Hollywood's Melrose Avenue). Melrose in the OC attracts many customers time and time again because of its unprecedented fashion trends, notable customer service, and prices for today's economy.

Meet the Business Owner: Kristina W.

Owner Kristina, started in retail in her mid teens and then in her early twenties quickly became a Fashion Forecaster and Buyer in the mainstream apparel industry. Waisner Sitzmann remarkably got her start with one of the largest buying offices in the United States. During those years Kristina Waisner Sitzmann was responsible for large percentages of select department-stores' purchases, translating into hundreds of thousands of blouses, pants, sweaters, jeans, shorts and millions of dollars of sales. Throughout this time she spent weeks in New York, London, and Tokyo gaining information for "Fashion". She launched her first dream store in Laguna Niguel, CA in 2008 then down to San Clemente, CA in 2010.

A very calm and quieter outlet in the most southern part of the O.C. It's an outdoor outlet, with…read moreabout 100 or so shops. It's a great place to take a nice walk, while doing your shopping. Of all the stores I visited, the customer service was very chill or beachy, where no one really bothers you or try to sell you anything. Visitors and shops all seem pretty friendly. There's multiple parking lots in the area. You can also take the trolly to the outlets, if you're traveling by train. Only takes about 25 minutes if it's not too busy, or a full trolley ride. I didn't see much food choices here. but a few coffee shops. There's a noodle place that I saw that looked interesting. Maybe at my next visit.

However, I wished that there were more dining options and restaurants at the outlet mall. Service: The service at the mall was good. Value: The value at the stores are good as well.
